Video/Telepathy to Nova City
[Time to put plan return the power into action! He uses Telepathy for those in Nova City and Video for everyone else.]
Alright. To the people that volunteered to go into the Power Plant, we are going to be splitting into two teams. The Combat Team and Generator Team.
The combat team will be lead by the Genessia City Guardian. She seems like the rigid no fun military type. You know, the kind to ban splashing or horse playing at the pool? Just really rigid. But she isn't bad on the eyes, so there is that. All of that seems like it can be applied to the Nova City Guardian too..but I'm off subject. She seems like she can get the job done. If you have a problem with her leading the team, resolve it before we go in. The combat team's purpose is to draw aggro so the Generator Team can do their work.
The Generator team will be focusing on hacking the system. I will teleport them directly to the control room forty minutes after the combat team goes in so they can do this. The lead hacker is Chihiro. This team will be small, anyone on it will focus on assisting her hack the system. I will be protecting this team while they hack.
When the generator is shut down, I will remove the object from the generator. I will stay and put a protective shield around it to contain the blast should the object have compromised it in some way.
We start in five hours so ready yourself. There will also be cookies and donuts at the meeting area in case you need a pre-raid snack. Any questions?

[The person on the video feed is indeed a new face. He also seems to be wearing some kind of uniform with what might be a rank badge on his lapel.]
What is going on with Nova City? I've noticed the blackout, but haven't set foot in there -- nor have I seen any news about the situation.
Video
The Power Generator inside of Nova City is malfunctioning, cutting off power to the entire city and making it impossible to use your device inside of it. Something is inside of it making it malfunction, and we are going to go and remove whatever it is and fix the generator.
With the power out, people have taken advantage and started looting and causing general chaos. People are out there helping with that situation, but we won't be able to restore true order until the power has returned.

...Hm. Surprising that a single generator would power an entire city without at least a source of backup power. And repair crews couldn't do anything to solve it themselves? Well, I suppose it could be dangerous if it's a nuclear power plant and there's a reactor leak or similar issue.

The place pretty much went into lockdown mode when it started malfunctioning. The security bots aren't letting anyone inside. But we were given details on how to fix what is going on. Once we take out the object inside of it that is making it malfunction, it should be safe to power back on. But we plan to take precautions in case it blows up or something.

...I'd be lying if I said I weren't curious enough to see it with my own eyes. But at the same time, I only just got here. I've no doubt I could help if I actually had the resources I need, but that's not a luxury I have -- at least, not yet. Is there any way I can keep up with what's going down without getting in anybody's way?

Ah...if you don't mind, I'd very much appreciate it. As a fair warning, I've no experience with...with telepathy, though.

[Telepathy]
Heh. Snacks huh? Someone's did this before.
On my way over. Locals ain't much fun in a bash, so should be there in minutes. Make sure there's chocolate chip and we won't have problems, yeah?

[And true to her word, she would arrive at the meeting area in a few moments, overly dramatically dive bombing the snack table. What? Flight was awesome!]
Sup, cutter. Snacks?
