[Did you subscribe to The Genessia Tribune? Did you even remotely wish you had a newspaper or some other form of media to refer to for news, weather, and current events? Then you're in luck! There's a paperboy riding through the streets of Genessia flinging newspapers onto doorsteps or, if you're unlucky, through your window. Even remote locations in the other cities will still get a paper if one of the residents ever wanted one. The Paperboy is just that dedicated.]

Rock out with Genessia's newest Rock Star
After a lot of hard work from both artist and agency, Fama Talent Agency is pleased to announce the growing success of one of its latest signings. Already a celebrated musician in her home world, Ibuki Mioda has quickly gathered a loyal following who can't get enough of her quirky, upbeat personality and her heavy metal stylings, and her debut album Brand New World, Same Mioda Sound has already become a hit with fans of the genre.
In the wake of this, preparations are underway for Mioda's debut headline performance, scheduled to take place on 1st October at Genessia Center Arts Theatre. Tickets are already selling fast, so book early to avoid disappointment.
Nova City Now Requires Bounty Hunters to be Licensed
All bounty hunters in Nova City are required to be licensed by the City Guardian's office starting September 30th. To obtain a license, contact a member of the City Guardian's office and sign a contract that agrees to the following terms:
1. Under no circumstances is murder an acceptable method for bringing in a bounty target. The bounty hunter must be able to reliably prove self-defense if the bounty dies in the process of being brought in. If they cannot, the bounty hunter will be held responsible.
2. Criminals must be brought to the City Guardian's office for processing. Bounty hunters are not dispensers of justice nor do they have the right to. They're a system designed to capture criminals and assist the justice system.
3. Property damage is restricted to what's necessary in defense rather than destruction in pursuit of a bounty. If any question is brought up about the nature of the property destruction by witnesses or other evidence, the matter shall be investigated and the bounty hunter may be held accountable for their actions if it is found they were creating more of a problem than assisting with one.
4. Bounty hunters are required to act under the scope of Nova City's laws. Just because you have a pendant doesn't mean you'er above them.
5. No trespassing without reasonable belief of distress of a potential victim. If you need to go into a restricted area, present your evidence to the City Guardian's office for approval. If your passage into that area is granted by the Guardian's office- which can be any one of the deputies or myself- then you're welcome to travel into that area. However, private property is that for a reason.
6. If your bounty interferes with a City Guardian's office investigation and you act upon it in the interest of getting the bounty money rather than exacting justice, you will be held accountable for obstruction of justice. This includes stepping beyond police tape without the explicit permission of someone in the Guardian's office. If you aren't trained explicitly to gather evidence, you're a problem whether you want to believe you're helping or not.
7. Bounty targets that are turned over may not be prosecuted if investigation does not provide sufficient evidence to link the target to the crime and they may be released and will not be eligible for bounty capture until evidence is presented. Further pursuit of a former bounty target may result in a minimum of harassment charges against the bounty hunter, further depending on actions taken by the bounty hunter beyond pursuit such as assault, stalking, and so on depending on how far out of bounds you are. Just because someone posts something in the paper doesn't mean that they did the crime unless there's active evidence of it.
8. All crimes committed in Nova City will be given a fair trial to determine their sentence. If the evidence states that they did the crime, they'll be punished to the full extent of the law. Regardless of the person's reason for doing something, if it's been done the victims deserve justice.
Please note that violation of these terms may result in your license being revoked. If you complete bounties without possession of a valid license, you are subject to prosecution as a vigilante by the full extent of Nova City law. This may include fines and jail time depending on the severity of the violation. Licenses are being required in order to help maintain order and increase the accountability of bounty hunters to protect citizens and their rights within Nova City limits. Epidemic
It’s common knowledge now that a disease spread from Attleton over the last week. It is one that was thought to have been completely cured, and the reason why it had a re-occurrence is unknown at the moment. For those that might have somehow missed it, those infected with the disease lost one to two of their five senses.
The senses lost were at random, and many think the only reason it spread from Attleton was because people were traveling to and from the city. Doctors at the Attleton Hospital will be paying closer attention to better catch this disease if it ever starts to run rampant once more, though many hope that this is the last we hear of it.
Costume Party
The Guardian of Genessia City David Haller announced a costume party in celebration of Halloween. It will be taking place in Genessia City on Friday, October 14th. And It is being held at the Castle Royale Hotel in Genessia City, a popular place for events held in the city.
For those that aren’t aware, Halloween is a Holiday celebrated on the 31st of October. Typically young children or teens dress up in costumes of all genres and travel around to people’s homes knocking on doors to receiving candy from the inhabitants. Though the origins of the Holiday and the way it used to be celebrated and different from the way of today. Should you be interested in learning more, please check out books on its history at your local library!
Force Grows Stronger
A new MasqueRanger has been announced. Unknown actor Mayu Nozaki will be portraying the role of the Green MasqueRanger, Kaneda Taelor. Kaneda is described as the quiet member of the group with a heart of gold. The character is known to dislike and fight bullies, but because of his own battles against them, has been wrongly mistaken as one himself!
He'll be starring alongside Yashiro Tsurugi, who will be portraying the White MasqueRanger, Shimamura Ahlwin, the headstrong de facto leader of the team.

Nova City Mason Returns: A man clad in metallic high tech body armor, a metal sports mask has committed a string of murders throughout Nova City. It's suspected to be a copycat, as his victims seemed to be picked at random but they are all murdered with an object that happens to be in the area, just like last year. A level 3 payment is being offered to anyone that can bring this man in. Everglade Hell's Fury: A black magic used name James has summoned three hellhounds (For the purpose of this listing, we will name them Fluffy, Cuddles, and Kisses) and has targeted three families with them. A level 1 payment is being offered to anyone that can stop each hellhound and a level 2 payment is being offered to anyone that can capture James. [OOC Note: Only one claim per target for this one. There are a total for 4 targets, meaning four seperate people can take this bounty with each targeting Fluffy, Cuddles, Kisses or James.] Fayren Ultra Croc: A giant crocodile has caused the death of two people at a near by lake. A level 1 payment is being offered to anyone that can defeat this beast. Attleton Headless: Three people in Attleton have been murdered and their head's removed. Their heads haven't been located, but the culprit appears to be a man riding a horse wearing a pumpkin mask upon his head. Motive for the murders are unknown, but a level 2 payment is being offered to anyone that can bring him in.
