[Genessia City]

[He'd woken up with a blistering headache. He was disoriented, left on his own to figure out how he'd woken up in this place and just what the point of the items in the box were. He'd of course take in as much information as he could from the pamphlets and the hologram (a form of astral projection? Or was it simply something beyond his own understanding?), but this headache made him dizzy and standing on his own was difficult let alone taking in any sort of information. The headache told him one thing: He was forcibly removed from his connection with Kyofu. Hell, he couldn't sense anyone he knew in this place- not Kyofu, not any of the other young Cardinals... but perhaps the only relieving thing was not being able to sense Liam.

He took a few steps further away from the Bay before collapsing to one knee, clasping his head tightly. It felt like his head was spinning, but regardless he slowly got back up to his feet. It would subside, he'd tell himself. There were more important tasks at hand than allowing this to slow him down.

... that is, until he collapsed onto a nearby street just barely under the light of a street lamp. Okay. Maybe he should take it slower. The severed connection was making his magic go haywire, and that... probably wasn't good. The air around him would steadily grow colder as he lay there, cursing himself for lacking the strength to move at that moment. The last thing he wanted was potentially needing someone's help in this bizarre world.]

[Fayren]

[Once he was able to regain himself, it was a matter of exploring the cities and learning whatever he could. However, after the incident earlier and the very small amount of sleep he had gotten before arriving here, he was tired. He felt more at ease once arriving in the city of Fayren, which was far more akin to what he was used to than those bizarre horseless chariots in the other cities, and chose to take a break on the shoreline. Anyone near the beach could eventually hear the faint melody of a flute in the night, lasting for well over an hour.

Should someone arrive at the beach after the flute playing had stopped, they will find the man garbed in white laying on the beach sound asleep. He hadn't intended to take a nap, but there he was. Perhaps taking a break on the beach wasn't such a good idea after all. Hopefully no one thinks he's just a body that washed ashore.]

*There's a beautiful blonde on the screen, her eyes bright and a hand pressed to her chest*

Good afternoon, everyone!

*At the sound of such a lovely female voice, Jack falls into a small outburst of giggles*

What a thing it is, to have skin and flesh, a heart with a pulse!

*That hand presses a little harder on the breast*

I can hear it! I can feel it!

*Excuse her while those giggles start up again*

[Action - Fayren, later Genessia]

There is a lovely young blonde woman, running and twirling, revelling in the very excitement of being alive. She claps her hands and skips around town, every so often stopping to take gulps of air.

This is so fun that later on, Eleanor can be found in Genessia, seeking a place to dance the night away and take part in all sorts of the joys of being alive!

OI! Wot's all this about the vampire killin', huh?! You can't just go around killin' vampires that didn't do nuffin! They were just mindin' their own business!

COME ON! There's gotta be laws against that, right?!

Look, I'm gonna set up an agency. In my parents' universe, it's called Torchwood, and it advocates for reasonable peaceful solutions betwixt different species of people and helpin' 'em advocate for 'emselves, if they get lost or stranded or somethin'.

But until then, could you 'old your bloody 'orses?! NO KILLIN'! Damn!

[ The video is taken from inside what appears to be a costume shop. It's a rather drab shop compared to her normal masks, but you have to start somewhere. 5000 red bills is not enough to afford her usual ostentatious masks of gold. She's holding a mask to her face, her lips drawn downward in a frown just beneath the rhinestone teeth. ]

Too on the nose.

[ She turns around, her device clearly propped up on a shelf of some kind, perfectly and elaborately coiffed hair and a the back of a gorgeous long sleeved, royal blue dress. She turns around again after a moment, holding up another mask. ]

Would you prefer something cute and harmless, Genessia? [ She quickly lowers her face and places this one on next. ] Or do you prefer a more honest facade?

 What's this?

*There's only another second before Jack figures out the video function, and there he appears on screen - the most pleasant skellington you've ever seen. Or, yes, just a skellington man, who is seemingly quite animated*

Ah hello, people of Genessia Town! What a charming place this is, and what a pleasant introduction! The technology here is really quite something, isn't it? If only I had the time to examine it all! I would very much be interested in speaking with someone who can explain all these clever...mechanisms.

[Action - Various Places in Genessia]

Jack has never been to a place like this, has never been surrounded by so many things he doesn't understand. Not since his visit to Christmas Town. He can be found in various shops or cafes, picking things up in wonder, or else pressing himself against windows to peer into homes, offices, any kind of building, all with bright curiosity on his face.
