The Adventures of Noir and Spider-Man

WHO: Haru Okumura (Noir) and Peter Parker (Spider-Man)
WHAT: Noir is out on a bounty and bumps into another who wants to help.
WHEN: November 20th, Morning
WHERE: Genessia

Haru had changed into her Phantom Thief disguise and had plans on doing a bounty after not having done so in a while. She wanted to bring justice, catch the guy and let justice do the rest, it was the least she could do while here. She didn't want to just sit around and so she was trying her best as she stepped foot into Genessia, she was determined to be on the look around and thus started her hunt for the guy, unsure of what was going to happen during that time but with a fire in her eyes and determination on her face and a giant axe trailing behind her.

Whether or not it was surprising, Spider-Man mostly traveled one way - by web swinging and rooftops. He'd read the news and was in pursuit of a criminal, because murderers could not just be left to their own devices.

What he did see below him was another person, dressed in a disguise of sorts, and had an axe. It would be awfully flashy of a run of the mill criminal to be wandering around with an axe. And dressed up.

He decided to investigate, letting go of his web and landing on his feet in front of her. He raised his hand. "Hey! You're not on your way to a murder spree are you?"

Haru was somewhat surprised when someone landed in front of her. She hadn't honestly been expecting it. Where did he even come from? The sky?

Her eyes glanced upwards briefly, it seemed likely before she looked back, shaking her head. Might as well be reassuring at least.

"No, that is never my intention." She moved her free hand and gripped the edge of her hat, yes some may say she was doing a pose but she had a good reason for it.

"I am the Beauty Thief Noir and I am here to stop the criminal that is terrorizing Genessia." As she spoke her hand moved around the rim of her hat, lifting it up slightly. The eyes behind her mask seemingly showing her confidence.

"That is what I came to do and I won't stop until they are captured and justice brought forth."

He was fine with her thinking he fell out of the sky, it was partly true after all. He nods a little bit and raises his hand and waves in a friendly way.

"Hey! That's what I was out here doing! I'm Spider-Man." He introduced himself with a smile she couldn't see.

"I read about them in the paper. Do you want to work together? I mean, there's a better chance of catching them that way."

She nodded slightly, hands now away from her hat and her axe still firmly in her grasp.

"Working together might be the best idea." It was a better chance at catching them, two heads are better than one as they always say.

Her eyes looked around for a moment "We just need to figure out where they might strike next."

"Right, sounds good!" He nodded with enthusiasm and started walking beside her, tapping his chin as he thought. It was just a way to convey his thoughts when he didn't have expressions to see.

"I wasn't too sure, but I had a hunch based on the pattern of their crimes that they'd be out looking for a new victim tonight. People like that tend to have cycles, or that's what they say anyway, but if we don't find them, we can always stop any other criminal activity we come across."

Spider-Man was an equal opportunity vigilante, willing to take down any criminal at any time.

"Right." She nodded slightly, he had a good point at least, there was always a time limit till something happens. Which meant time was limited to catch the criminal was in fact limited.

But he also had a point that if they didn't catch one and managed to stop other crimes, would also be a benefit, but her mind had been set on. Turning her head she paused for a moment.

"Maybe we go this way and hope it's the right way."

"Well, we'd better get moving." He said cheerfully and hesitated a moment. He could move much faster than her, and his fastest mode of transportation was by web. Would it be weird if he asked her?

Probably, but it would be more efficient.

"We can sweep this place pretty quick. Uh, do you want to ride with me? I can lift you without a problem, it just might be weird so I thought I'd ask." He paused. "Also I've never done that. Like a piggy back ride where I still use my arms. If you could hold on."

"Ride with you?" She seemed a little puzzled about it. She was admittedly more than a little bit curious about what exactly he meant by that, so as weird as it sounded she figured if it was faster than walking, it wasn't going to hurt anyone, right?

"Sure, if it gets us around quicker it's more of a benefit. Though how exactly will it get us around quickly, I am a little curious."

"Right, sorry, that was weird." He smacked his forehead with a sigh. Okay, that was dumb. He paced back and forth a few steps.

"Let me show you!" He sounded cheerful and excited. He flicked his wrist and spider webbing shot up to the nearest roof and swung from one roof to the next, going to a few before swinging back and landing in front of her.

"Like that!" He held out his arms like it was an impressive feat, but mostly he was playing around. He was kind of a dork.

Haru watched with pure amazement. Someone who could shoot something and use it to get around. It was pretty neat if she had to say so herself. Makes traveling a lot easier and quicker.

"That's amazing. I must admit I've never seen anyone travel like that before."

"Yeah, I'm pretty proud of it and everything." He laughed. "But, I mean, Spider-Man. I can do everything a spider can!" He answered cheerfully.

"So, do you want to do that? I can walk if you want me to."

Haru was going to think over what would be the best idea.

"I think it would be faster and the sooner we find him, the sooner we can get him off the street and that at the end of the day is what matters. Don't you think?"

He smiled, but nodded, offering a thumbs up since she couldn't see that. "Let's go then, just grab onto my shoulders, I've got this."

He wasn't the least bit concerned about her weight hampering his movement.
