[Kairi was using this thing for everyone to see for the first time. Usually she kept it for one to ones should they need it, but never like this.Not like she would have with her journal back in the other world. As soon as she noted it was on she waved.]

Good morning, for those of you who have never seen my face before, I'm Kairi. I came here from another world that had taken me there from my home world. It's...kind of complicated to get into, but because of it, I've learnt a lot. [She gives a small laugh.]

I guess I just want to get to know the people here since I've been here for a little over a month now and to ask what were your worlds like before you arrived here? Or if your situation was a lot like mine what was your home like too?

[She was curious right now and wanted to know what other worlds there were out there besides the ones she had been to. But with that she switches this off publicly as there is one thing she wants done in private.]

I want to ask you something, but I think it would be better if we spoke in person. When you have the time will you come meet me back home, please?

Sure thing! [He grins lightly.]

I can be there in an hour, if that's okay with you.

That's fine. I'll just cleaning the place up a bit until then.

[She goes have a job but currently she doesn't need to head to it. At least not today anyway.]

[He nods.] Alright!

[Approximately an hour later...]

Hey, Kairi!

[He's stepping through the door, announcing his presence, before blue eyes begin searching for the familiar redhead.]

[Kairi had been quietly dusting various places, waiting for him to come home. When the hour past she had just managed to finish dusting the last surface and she heard his voice and made her way to the front.]

Welcome home, Sora. [She goes and puts her dusting equipment away before heading off the the living room.]

I suppose you are wondering what it is I want to ask, right?

[He grins and waves in greeting, and then rushed off to the kitchen to fix a drink.]

Yeah, actually... [He calls out, before returning with his glass, leaning against the door frame. He cocks his head to the side, a bit.]

What's up?

[His expression is genuinely curious.]

[She knew she probably shouldn't ask, what with it not being that long since she told him how she felt, but she knew this might help things a little bit. Maybe.]

Well, you recall what I told you before we came here right? I'm still not expecting an answer, far from it actually, but I thought why not see what it's like, just for one day.

[She moves her hands and keeps them to the front.]

So would you like to go on a date with me?

[He blinks and...almost drops the glass. Face reddening, he's stunned silence. To be safe, he decides to set the glass down on the table closest to him, before he finally manages a faint smile.

Heh...it hasn't been long since they wound up in this world. His feelings for her haven't lessened, though. He still...likes her. Maybe even more than he had, back in the other world. In this world, they only have one another. Well, Lea had wound up in this world, too, but it's not even the same Lea Sora had known in the world of pirates.

So much...had happened, back in that last world. Only they knew what they'd experienced. Only they could bring up those events and share the same memories- for the most part, anyway. They'd both experienced death and sadness brought by that place, and they'd both experienced good times. The awkward times. The friendships gained, and the friendships...tested. And, in some ways, lost. There were people they'd both miss.

It's time to move forward with their lives, since they have no idea how long they'll be there.]

A...date, huh?

[His smile grows into the faintest of grins- right along with the blush, as he nods.] Alright! When would you like to go? [Pause.] Do you...have any place in mind, for where you'd like to go?

[A question is just now hitting him...

...How does this kind of thing even work...?]

[She wasn't exactly expecting him to answer at all, or even to say yes. As friend was a possibility that had passed her mind and she assumed would answer her question perfectly and she could move on, but he didn't and well... She couldn't help but smile slightly.]

I do actually. It's a nice little cafe close by. The cake is delicious.

[She figured if he did say yes to go for a place that wasn't quite romantic but instead good for either as friends or not. She at least thought of these things.]

Hiya, Kairi! I'm Vanille, and I'm...well, I got here just today!

My home, huh? It was nice. All naturey. Everyone lived and worked together. It was like one big family, y'know? But...it's not in too great shape anymore. [ Really, it doesn't exist anymore. But she'll leave that part out. ] What about your home?

Aha.... such a simple question but I have such a complicated answer...! My world was... kind of hard to explain.

[She gave a smile and nodded slightly. She was listening and trying to picture just what it was like. It sounded quite nice and pleasant.]

That place sounded really nice, but what do you mean by not in great shape? Did something happen?

[She knew she would get asked about her world and she didn't mind talking about it anyway.]

Where I'm from it's just a small group of islands. There's even one we go to just for play. We all know each other and get along well. Kind of like you with where you live, we're like a family, or at least very close.

Hard to explain? I guess there can be places that would be like that, so you don't have to answer the question.

Mm-hmm. [ She pauses, trying to word it carefully. She doesn't really want to remember how her home looked--all destroyed, covered in crystal dust, overrun by Cie'th. ] It kind of...hmm. Simply put, it's seen a lot of destruction.

Oh, an island! I love the water and playing in it with friends is always even more fun, and having picnics, too!

W-wait wait, I never said I wouldn't! It just might be a little hard is all...!

Okay, here goes! My world was relatively normal, up until I got stranded on my family's personal island. Weird things started happening, and before I knew it everything was like a murder mystery.... ihihihi...

Then not only my soul, but the souls of my family had become trapped in purgatory. I had to fight with witches to try and get out- and it gets even more complex after that.

[She heard that and chooses not to go into it more, but she does feel bad that something like that happened to her home.]

That's right and those are a few things we did while we were on the island. Which reminds me, I wonder if we can have a picnic somewhere around here. It would be a nice change for me.

Oh dear. You mean to say that you had a lot going on that sounds pretty bad. I mean murder mystery doesn't sound good enough as it is, but being trapped in purgatory sounds even worse.

I'm sorry that you had to go through something like that.

It's.... it's in the past now.

[he had accepted this kind of fate a long time ago. after he figured out all the mysteries and riddles to the story, he knew that his family would always be dead, no matter what. he would have suffered the same fate, but the girl that saved him came with him to genessia, he was still thankful for that.]

Like I said, there's a lot to it- and it's an extremely long story. But... I'm currently working on writing all the stories. I would like to keep my family's memory alive by doing that.

Oh, so your an writer than? But, that is a great way to keep ones memory alive at least.

Exactly!

So... I don't believe I got your name. Sorry sorry...! I wanna know it now!

[ah, hold on a second-] ..Wait... I think you're the one that Namine-chan mentioned before...

[She nods slightly, she knew that was very likely.]

Ah, so you spoke to her then? I assume it was when she first arrived. But, yes I'm the one she was on about.

Hmmm... yeah, and I already agreed to help look after you! Hah, hope you don't mind-!

I don't mind, I understand why she might have been worried.

Was there some reason for that...? Are you really in danger?

I think so, but nothing too dangerous. Unless she thinks this place is, of course.

Aah... w-well... sadly I don't have my magic anymore. I can't really help protect you that much.

You use to have magic? What happened to it?

[His throat is a little dry- while he waits for her response, he reaches for the glass and takes a sip of the water. He's grateful that his hand isn't trembling, or something...lame, like that.

The mention of the cafe has him smiling as he sets the glass back down. As the grin returns, he nods enthusiastically.]

Okay! Then, it's settled! [A beat.] How's...next week sound? My next off day is Tuesday...but we can go whenever you like.

[His head tilted to the side just a bit.]

Really complicated.... but basically, it was granted to me but was taken away in the end!

I'm sorry to hear that. But by the sounds of it you might not mind.

Hey, I mind! I'm not nearly as cool now...!

I don't think having powers is considered cool, though using that word probably isn't what I'm thinking it is.
