What:not a date Friends! Eating lunch together! After donating money to a charity for the opportunity! Yes, that is all!
Warnings: Awkwardness, more awkwardness, Shinjiro trying to not curse because of Belle's sensibilities, Shinjiro wanting to curse because of Scott's face doing the thing, Belle possibly finding out what "dating" really is and imploding from the embarrassment of being on a date with two guys at once, Scott wondering if blasting the wall open in the rear would let him escape faster, you know, what you'd expect.
It was a pretty nice day out.
Sun was shining at the moment, the air was starting to get brisk with the changing seasons - the leaves were turning, the grass was browning. A quiet day in the sleepy little neighborhood of Attleton.
A nice day for adate lunch with friends.
Shinjiro had come straight from his morning shift at the bakery, only changing out the apron and making sure his pants didn't manage to get too badly covered in flour. He was fine. Sorta. Ish. Whatever. It was just lunch. With two friends. Who he liked as friends. Didn't have a ... there were no thoughts about ... one of them who ... nope. Totally fine.
He hesitated outside the door, not certain if he ended up beating them there, before entering the restaurant.
Suck it up, he told himself. You're the only one freaking out about this. They just helped out a friend who got himself into a stupid situation, and now they want to hang out. Chill the hell out.
If they were going to treat this casually, so was he.
