[The video comes on to show a blonde teenager frowning at the camera. He's been playing with the phone for a while now, figuring out how it works, and he thinks he has a decent handle on it now. Enough to make a video, at least. He's not entirely sure how the broadcasting to everyone thing works, but he assumes it's something like a radio, but with picture. Sort of. Or like a movie, but with sound, and shown real time.]

Hello? Is anyone there?

[He peers at the phone like it'll respond. It doesn't.]

My name is Alphonse Elric. I'm not sure how I got here, and I know that we're not supposed to be able to get back, but there has to be a way.

[After all, so much of his life has been about doing the impossible. There's always a way. Well, almost always.]

If anyone knows anything, let's talk.

Alphonse. I'd like to say that I'm glad to see you, but considering this isn't anywhere close to home, I'm sorry you've been brought here too.

[It's a sad sort of smile she gives.]

[Winry admittedly was a little surprised at the sight considering. What she last remembered and what she knew was very much different than what the sight in front of her. And admittedly...She was more than a little happy about it. After all, it had been something they had worked so hard on and it seems like it happened.

She wondered if Ed knew anything about it... She was pretty sure he would, even with what she told him. She was going to try and not cry because she was happy and instead, she smiles as she turns on the feed.]

It's good to see you. I'm not surprised you would be trying to think of a way back, Ed was doing exactly the same thing when he first arrived.

[He's staring, mouth agape.]

....Al?

[Nope, he's still staring, taking in the sight of his very human brother, somewhat relieved because it's comforting to know that no matter what something goes well.

Law of averages, right?]

Al! It's good to see you!

[He's moving because he needs to get to where Al is and give him a very well deserved hug. The biggest hug.]

Whoohoo! High five big guy, I also just got here! We can be like, clueless brothers or something.

[Ace is way too chipper about being new here, but hey... considering he was dead before, anything's better than a premature death, right?]

Hello, Lieutenant Hawkeye.

Same here. It's good to see a familiar face, even if the circumstances aren't great. Just when I thought everything was over and we could relax for a bit.

[He frowns slightly at that thought, but then pulls himself together and smiles at her.]

I haven't seen you in a while, how have you been?

WInry! You're here too? And Brother?

[He's beginning to get really concerned, and it shows on his face. Just him is one thing. But several of them? What were these kidnappers doing? What was their plan?]

You're okay, right? You're not hurt or anything?

Haha, now there's a bellicose name! Welcdome, Alphonse. Would you be up for a little thought experiment? It might give you some new ideas on exit and entrances.

[Wait wait wait wait wait. Hold the phone. Al's here? With his body back? Riza had mentioned it, sure, but he never thought he'd live to see the day.

Well, technically he hadn't, but details.

He's learned by this point that there's no good way to tell people "surprise I'm back from the dead" so a video is as good as any.]

Alphonse? Is that really you?

Brother? You're really here?

[Winry had just said, but actually seeing him is a little bit of a shock still.]

There's so many of us. That's concerning.

The more people from his world he meets, the more worried he's getting. Everything's finally over, and now this happens. It figures. And now Ed doesn't have his alchemy anymore, either, and while Al is good, Ed has always been better at that. This is bad.

[He nods at that, looking thoughtful.]

Yeah, they believe time has stopped, so...

[He shrugs, his shrug is still slightly lopsided, he's still got automail, so he's not from the future, like Al is.]

It should be fine, when we get back. Just like we left it, that's the rumour.

[Al, of course, has no idea that Roy might be from a different place on their timeline, so his greeting is, well... probably not what Roy expects.]

Brigadier General Mustang. It's good to see you, too.

[He smiles, a bigger one than Roy's, even though his mind continues to reel at the number of them here. What was happening? Why were they brought here?]

How have you been? Is... everything okay?

Hi! What's your name?

[He laughs at the clueless brothers comment.]

I think my actual brother would argue with that, but we can definitely figure things out. Apparently a bunch of people from home are here, so they'll help too.

[Al is entirely too trusting for his own good, clearly.]

....bellicose? Why is it bellicose?

[And yes, Ted, he does know what it means, before you ask. He's just not sure why Ted would say that.]

[Al's eyes widen. Hughes? But he's... that's impossible. As trusting as Al naturally is, there's a limit even for him, and he knows intimately that you can't bring people back from the dead. Therefore, this can't be Maes Hughes. He frowns at the imposter. It can't be Envy either, because Envy is also gone. So that leaves the question...]

Who are you?

But we don't know that for sure.

[He's naturally confused by the movement. Why is Ed moving like that?]

Did you hurt your arm, Brother?

[Ted's a pretty simple guy, so he'll have to just bore Alf with the simple explanation.]

Aheh, because it means "ready to fight." Granted, not necessarily for its own sake, but if you really want to, I wouldn't mind indulging you.

My name does? Huh. I didn't know that.

[But then, he'd never really looked into it, either, and no one had bothered to tell him.]

I guess it's true. I will, if I have to, and I'm not bad at it, but I'd rather not.

[He's being modest. If you start a fight, Ted, Al will end it.]

[Al is about to object to the correction, confused, but then Roy explains further. What?]

Colonel, then. But how is that even possible? It sounds like something fantastic out of a novel. And if that's the case, when are you from?

[Roy can clearly see him, so that eliminates one section of possible time, anyway. After a moment, his eyes widen and his expression becomes a mixture of embarrassed and horrified.]

Does that mean... Brigadier General Hughes? Is he actually here? Though I guess he'd still be Lieutenant Colonel, then.

[He's quite possibly made a big mistake.]

I am. I arrived not too long ago and Ed was like a few days after... I can't be exact in timing.

[She shook her head, she at least was aware that she was okay for the time being.]

I am fine. No injuries, no being hurt at all. Are you okay yourself?

Aheh, well I suppose "ready" isn't quite the same as "eager and very much looking forward to it."

[Guess that'd fit his brother better.]

Anyway, would it be too shocking to say that there's really nothing to be getting back to?

Nah, Winry fixed it not that long ago.

[At least, as far as he remembers.]

It's cold, it's just being annoying.

[It aches in the cold and there's little he can do about it.]

[He nods, relieved at that. It would be bad if Winry was hurt.]
