FMA Cast and Friends Christmas Party! DATED DECEMBER 25TH, EVENING
The last time Riza Hawkeye had a full Christmas dinner with “family” was when her father was still alive.
Not that it actually counted for anything.
No, she supposed, the true last time she did this was when her mother was still alive.
She was still a child, and cherished those memories more than anything. When her mother passed away, she attempted to keep the tradition, but her father just wasn’t the same, and frankly didn’t care. He threw himself into his work and research, so Riza didn’t try anymore. Not for years.
Not until a young man, only a few years her senior came asking to be her father’s apprentice. Her father was well known after all, one of the last in the mastery of flame alchemy. This apprentice lived with them, and although the first Christmas he left to his family in Central, the second was the one that stood out.
She had excitedly made a giant feast, trying to remember what little she could from her mother, and the apprentice, Roy Mustang, ate all of it…
She felt terrible because he was sick all day the next day, and she later learned that he was just being nice.
Riza took cooking lessons after that, and although she isn’t the greatest cook, she wasn’t going to make anyone sick, and she certainly wasn’t going to disappoint anyone. She saw everyone that had been unlucky (or lucky, she was starting to believe) enough to be stuck in Genessia as her family, considering all that they had been through. Not just that, but her new friends that she cared about we going to join them.
All in all, she was happy today.
It was time to have an actual “family” Christmas, with no war, no homunculus, no worries.

Apartment: Pre-party
Pre-party cooking, gifts under the colorful tree, and mistletoe is probably hidden in the strangest places (not her idea). The smells are amazing- food, sweets, and general Christmas spices fill the air.
Clubhouse Regency Apartments
*Decorating: Pre-party decorations are being done by whoever wants to help. Riza is utilizing the giant tree already there, but the rest is up to whoever is decorating! Watch out for more hidden mistletoe!
*PAR-TAY~!!!: Mix and mingle in the jingling beat!
-The food is buffet style, on a large table along a wall. Food items are Turkey, Ham, and different sides. There’s also Winry’s amazing apple pie as well as a small variety of cookies! There is alcoholic AND non-alcoholic egg nog, one bottle of white and red wine each, non-alcoholic warm apple cider, and bottled water to drink. Honor system on the alcohol kids! Don’t break Riza’s trust!
-There are some small tables to play cardsor challenge someone to an arm wrestling contest if one so wanted, and there are also couches as the clubhouse looks like it could be just a larger apartment minus the bedrooms. It’s quite comfy there!
-All kinds of Christmas music is playing from the speakers into the whole area, but louder in one corner if her friends want to dance.
*Around the tree and fireplace: Gifts can be exchanged here if they haven’t already! There’s plenty of sitting space for chatting and general wholesome fun. Which means NO FIGHTING, EDWARD… SAME GOES FOR YOU MUSTANG. She’s watching you both.

*Anyone is welcome to stay for a while after the clubhouse is cleared out. Dishes will be washed and everything cleaned up, but chatting is more than welcome. She also has a special gift for someone… and not like that you pervs, she’s a lady.
