Twenty-Eigth Reel: Blizzard OTA [action-starting from the beginning of the blizzard]
WHO: Grell and anyone else!
WHAT: boring and cold patrols.
WHEN: The entirety of the blizzard event
WHERE: Everglade
WARNINGS: coldness...
Having no real circulation to help get the blood pumping, and thus warm, Grell has to resort to layers of clothing. At least until they came out with Thermaltech. Now staying warm is as simple as looking at a watch. Which means she wouldn't need to stay inside too much and risk her limbs literally freezing up on her. As a Chrsitmas gift, Grell also gave her entire team of deputies the clothing: sweaters, socks, hats, gloves, whatever is available for the Thermaltech line is what they all get, along with the watches. She doesn't wanna hear anyone complaining too much about being out on patrol in this weather.
Remilia and Maribelle get small sizes while everyone else gets medium. They didn't have extra small during the Cyber Monday sale, and the kid sizes would have been too small.
For the city at large, Grell and the deputy team helped make sure that: residents had access to "blizzard packages"- wood, blankets, 3 flares, a whistle, a separate bag of meat that needs to be consumed (since the meat market would be closed); the emergency shelter was ready in case homes collapsed under the weight of snow, and rock salt. Notices are posted around town about the items and that they shouldn't leave their homes unless absolutely necessary, and to carry flares when they do. Deputies are urged to carry a pre-prepared backpack with emergency supplies while patrolling. They'll never know who they'll find out there. There's just three backpacks, though.
With the Thermaltech beneath her clothing, her red wool coat, an indigo scarf, a face mask to protect her face and ears, snow boots, and a hat (which she hardly ever wears because of hat hair), Grell doesn't feel as cold as she probably would be with Thermaltech.
Most of the patrolling is done in shifts, and downtime is spent at the City Guardian office warming up or at home, recovering for the next day or shift. Encounters with Grell will more than likely be outside, unless someone stumbles into the office from the cold. There is one day where she'll encounter a man who seems to have collapsed in the snow and checks his pulse. Alive, but barely. She starts wrapping him up in a blanket from her backpack.

While she's out patrolling as well, her eyes land on the man as she runs through the snow to meet up with Grell, skidding to a stop just before them.
"Is he hurt?" she asked, taking out the blanket from her own backpack to wrap him up in.

She looks to Hikaru when she's done adjusting the temperature. "Thanks for the help. Did you see anything out of the ordinary?"
