So she fetches the newspaper, and sits down to read it with her morning cup of cocoa. Oh, sweet, she got quoted! Nice! She reads on...and comes across the announcement of a beauty pageant. As if Gamagori needed her to make his life "interesting" anymore than she already has, she nonetheless types out a quick text to the committee and signs him right up. She smiiiiiiiles to herself and sits back in her chair, holding her mug. Sip.]

I have a lot of talents, Yang. I can sing, for example, since they probably won't have anything to fight at a pageant.

It honestly wouldn't surprise me if someone DID unleash a monster onstage and fought it for their talent. I think the judges will appreciate your decision to sing.

It'd put the crowd in danger if they did, which wouldn't be something to be proud of.

Most of my other talents are difficult to show off to an audience, anyway.

Hard to say! It really depends on who the judges are, and who else is competing. But she's confident, and she IS pretty. I think she'll do well.

I agree. [On all accounts. He'd like to see Blake enter the contest too, but he's sure those chances are slim.] Just be sure to make a lot of noise for us when we take the stage. It be great for our world to win both male and female competitions.
