Dueling Banjous

Who: Yang Xiao Long, Tsukasa Kadoya
Where: Genessia
What: Sparring, backdated to Yang's post

Tsukasa was feeling mighty good about this whole thing. He was getting bored, and a bored Tsukasa tended to lend its way towards him doing something ridiculous.

As it stood, he leaned against his motorcycle, sipping a coffee from a paper cup and waiting for Yang to show up as they had arranged. Hopefully she would be on time, considering how much he was looking forward to this ridiculousness.

Yang hadn't expected to make good on any of her sparring requests on the same day she made her post, but she wasn't going to pretend she wasn't excited about it. This Tsukasa guy sounded like a great resource for different combat situations, and the more experience she got, the more likely it was that Raven wouldn't keep shaking her head and sighing at her rookie huntress daughter!

So yeah, she was looking forward to doing this.

She showed up when she said she would at the makeshift training facilities, which was pretty much just an unused warehouse with lots of empty space and cobwebs.

As she approached, her gaze moved to the bike, and her grin widened. "Nice wheels." Looks like they had the same taste in vehicles. Had he bought that right away with his money? So much for rent, ha! "Ready to do this?"

Yang watched as her opponent prepared himself. She didn't seem overly surprised, but given where she was from and what she'd seen before, there wasn't really a whole lot that would shake her...especially when she was getting ready for a fight.

Her own preparation was far less flashy. She crossed her wrists before bringing her arms sharply down to her sides. Yellow-gold plates snapped out of the bracelet on her left wrist to sheath her wrist and hand, and a small gun barrel popped out of her right prosthetic arm.

"You sure about this?" she warned, shifting her stance to stand with her feet further apart, fists raised. "I wouldn't want to ruin your ride's paint job."

To say the least; she'd messed up robots bigger than that before, and she doubted this one would fare much better than the Paladin she took down.

Now that surprised her. Yang threw herself to the side and rolled up to her feet, swinging her left fist in a curving arc to discharge a crimson twinkling incendiary shot from her gauntlet as she moved.

So. His motorcycle could not only turn into a robot, but it could fly. Pretty cool! But potentially a problem.

Yang ducked under the sword, trying to move herself under his arm, but he was a little too fresh and fast for that. For now the best she could do was position herself to put Tsukasa between her and his ride so she'd have fewer bullets to worry about.

She shifted her stance to block his sword with her metal arm, following it up with a jab toward his ribs with her left fist, and a low arcing kick.
