[Did you subscribe to The Genessia Tribune? Did you even remotely wish you had a newspaper or some other form of media to refer to for news, weather, and current events? Then you're in luck! There's a paperboy riding through the streets of Genessia flinging newspapers onto doorsteps or, if you're unlucky, through your window. Even remote locations in the other cities will still get a paper if one of the residents ever wanted one. The Paperboy is just that dedicated.]

Painted Trouble


Explorers have been injured while traveling in the Fayren forest. It seems as if some Mage has created animations using paint and magic and unleashed them into the forest. Explorers said they thought it was a real person approaching them, but when they were close enough they attacked the Explorers.

One of the explorers lost their life but the others managed to defeat the animation. They note that it returned to paint once they beat it. The Arcane Knights, a magic guild in Fayren, went out to help fight the problem but they haven't been heard from since left. The city guard is unsure what happened to them or if they are even still alive. An investigation into their disappearance will be launched once this situation has been handled.



Music In Your Head

While a Mage was performing experiments inside of his lab, he somehow created a magic laced disease that appears to be contagious. Because of the nature of magic that is present within the disease, curing it has proven to be highly difficult. The disease affects the brain and has been named Neural Phonic Harmonization disease or NPH Disease for short. Those infected by the disease may find themselves uncontrollably singing songs or even their feelings.

The only ill effects the disease seems to have is the embarrassment some people feel from singing and headaches caused to those that have had to constantly listen to people sing. It only lasts 24 to 48 hours, so anyone that catches it need not worry about it lasting forever.

Drug Heist - The laboratory of a local drug company was robbed with many supplies stolen. Several people were murdered as the crime was committed. A level 2 bounty is being offered for the thieves capture and return of the supplies.

Nova City

Heavy Machinery - A human with Cybernetic Augmentations is responsible for the strangulation of several people in Nova City which lead to four deaths. A level 2 bounty is being offered for his capture.


Everglade

Revenge Stake – A vampire is responsible for staking humans in the heart in Everglade in the middle of the night. A level 2 bounty is being offered for his capture.



Fayren

Portrait Of Magic - A Mage with the extremely rare ability to animate images from paintings that they have created has unleashed them in three different locations. Injury fighting them is highly possible. While the animations look real or living, they aren't. The paint has been infused with magic and defeating the animation causes the magic to disburse. This also makes the animation pop and splatter paint all over. So don't wear your best clothes to deal with them.

The City Guard is in the process of finding what is spawning them. Mage responsible hadn't been located as of yet, but once he is a bounty will surely be placed on him. The animations also seem to only last for a certain amount of time or distance before the magic wears off of the ink.

A level 1 payment is being offered to anyone that goes to help beat back the painting animations.
