Valentine's proposal [Video]
[Once the festivities for the evening concluded, the network coughs up this guy with unusually green cheeks. Someone's perky.]
Hello, everyone! I hope you had as much fun as I did. Because if you have, you might wish to make use of these!
[Triumphantly, he flashes out a sleek slip of paper in his eager hands.]
A pass for a couple's massage! Goodness knows one would be handy for all the stress Genessia doles out. Supposed to be wonderful for that, as well as back pain and exercise related injuries.
If that sounds up your alley, it's my treat. They do insist on stripping to your breechcloths, so beware should that scandalize or offend your prudery. They're located in Nova City, meaning their supple hands ought to be enough for anyone, no matter how alien your anatomy. If memory serves they do have a "no scoundrels" policy they won't break for the world, so mind that.
Happy Valentine's Day, massaged or no!
[OOC: That last part he made up purely as a way to refuse people he dislikes. Otherwise, it's fair game if your muse wants to go with him. He honestly didn't plan for the event of more than one person taking him up on the offer, so he may pair you with someone else at random while buying more passes. If you've any requests for specific threading, pairings or handwaves, lemme know.]

How do the people here define 'scoundrel,' if I may ask?

[Commencing a train of thought that never needed to happen.]

Hah, and "no scoundrels"? The alliteration would serve satisfactorily. You know, I don't recall. One would think it's understood, eh? Not that it's customary of scoundrels to heed any sign whatever. I wonder if that thwarts whom it ought...

Owning an establishment must be difficult.

[A humored chuckle escapes Augustine as he smiles into the screen. The vampire is seated at a lovely café somewhere in Genessia City that has a crystal chandelier high above and white marble tables. Rather beautiful place but a tad too fancy for a man who only orders tea. It's clear that Augustine isn't careful with his money.]
My, it's almost as if you actually enjoy these odd festivities.

In Genessia? Oh, seems the easiest thing in the world. I've ready every newspaper the Tribune saw fit to print since my arrival, and I've not once seen any economic evils reported. So long as one puts the time in, any business will happily thrive, no matter how inane or impractical its niche.
Re: [video]
Nothing odd about the annual!
[He says as his cheeks go yellow with orange swirls. Nope, nothing weird today.]
What gave me away?
Re: [video]
[For once those bright red eyes of his change to silver almost instantly. Silver actually fits Augustine quite well.]
Re: [video]
All so he could be more annoying than usual.]
Hah, everyone's awfully expressive this go around, eh? If I'm right you're feeling a little...mm, distrusting. What of?
Re: [video]
[He mutters under his breath as he takes a sip of his tea.]
Nothing.
[The silver tint in his eyes dim to a dull gray now. Augustine is aware that his eyes change colors based on his moods but he didn't bother to study it. He just wishes for this malarkey to end sooner than later.]
In any case, I think I've had enough of Genessia City. I heard Nova City is the most technologically advanced city in this odd realm. I may venture there or maybe...I'll set my sights elsewhere.
Re: [video]
You won't last long in the world, despising its novelties so. Might as well enjoy them. Is wearing heart on your sleeve--eyes, rather--so bad? It at least lets me know that you're lying like a rug.
[Mm, there's an enervated grey. That won't do.]
Ah, truly? Genessia City's the best of them. It's good of the world to start one there. But Nova City is the brightest, true, with its fair share of novelties.
[Neither of those two are Everglade, so he could do worse!]
Re: [video]
[A quick flash red appears within his gaze briefly before they shift back to gray again. Seems that comment irritated him some.]
Is Nova City truly so bright? You've been there before, yes? What is it like?
[Those dim gray eyes come to life again in a bright orange hue.]
Re: [video]
Pity. Well, there will be other farces. Perhaps you'll like those better.
Haha, not the kind of brightness that blasts vampires, I'm sure. But that's all I'll say; look, man! It's a thing for the senses! It'd be churlish to spoil any more than I have.
Re: [video]
[Snippy-snip! Someone is feeling slightly sassy but did he just accidentally admit to being a vampire? Maybe.]
Ah, trying to entice me to head there and experience the wonders of Nova City myself? You should consider doing advertisement because you've sold me on the idea.
Re: [video]
Drat, that would've been tidy. I suppose crosses don't make you flee in terror either?
[None of the vampires keep the rules anymore. It's anarchy!]
Aha, an advertiser? You think me so vulgar? Suppose the city has its fair share of those, too. Advertisements, I mean. I hope you're illiterate, for it'll be much more beautiful that way. Well, thank you anyway. May you enjoy that as much as you should've enjoyed the holiday.
Re: [video]
[Now his eyes linger upon red again. Augustine looks perfectly calm but apparently he's annoyed again.]
Sorry but I'm quite well read. However, I doubt those pesky advertisement will disturb me much. Nova City is suppose to be a beacon of technological advancement.
I simply hope the citizens are welcoming.
