[the video flicks on, a little shaky at first as if someone is quickly adjusting it-- then a young girl runs back in order to fit in frame]

Okay! I'm going to make this one start right! This isn't my first other world after all. I'm practically a sage at it!

[she clears her throat]

My name is Yuuki Miaka! Future Jonan Academy student! I am fifteen years old, a Taurus, bloodtype B! Nice to meet you!

But I thought that weird red light was going to take me home. Has everyone here been to that weird country? Also I'm looking for my friend Yui. She's wearing the same uniform as me but she has blonde hair and blue eyes. If anyone's seen her, please let me know. [she's thinking of asking about Tamahome, too. But then again he was a jerk who was probably going to leave her so who cared?

...well she did a little.

She was distracted from her thoughts by a loud gurgling sound]

Ahh I'm hungry! There's got to be somewhere to eat around here! I could eat a whole buffet!

[and she wanders off a bit before running back and fetching her camera. She's okay. Really. Just a bit hungry]

This is not the first strange other world you have been to?

[ WELL THEN, colour her intrigued! It's not often she meets others who were like her ~~in fact this might actually be the first time~~, so naturally she's going to reply to the post as soon as humanly possible. ]

What was the other world you were in like, if you do not mind my asking?

[ But right, she's asking some questions as well, those need answers too right? ]

I am afraid I do not know if your friend is here or not, but you are in luck in that there should be no shortage of places for you to eat -- it helps that we are all also given some money to start with, so you should be able to afford a nice meal in the meantime.

What was it like? [she has to think about that for a bit] Something like Ancient China!

But I don't have any money, only a couple of yeeeehhh?! [her words end in an exclamation as she pulls red bills out of her skirt pocket] Where did this come from?!

Can I really spend all this money? Is it really mine? [she looks around wondering if someone is going to chase her down for it. Maybe that Tamahome jerk. Then her stomach growls again and her head hangs]

I'm going to die if I don't eat something.

Okay! I'm going to the biggest buffet in town! Can you show me where that is?

Somehow, that is not the answer she was expecting. What in the world is China and how does she know it's Ancient?? ]

Ah, yes, that is yours. Everyone waking up here gets that many red bills, meant to help cover our personal costs while we try to find places to live and work. I... Cannot confess to knowing where the best buffet in town is, but I have been shown a place that has some nice ice cream if that appeals to you.

That's a start! [beam] But, wait, I'm too young for a part time job! I guess I could be a waitress. [she imagines herself in a cute uniform]

Or an idol. [a cute flashy uniform.]

Or a female pro wrestler delivering a suplex to the reigning champion and winning the title! Yeah! [flex flex!]

[ A pause. ]

There is such a thing as being too young to work?

I am certain you could find something you could do, though. Even if it is something you are not used to, most would at least take the time to teach you -- at least, that is what I have found here.

I think you have to be sixteen. [and she's not ready to work at a part time job yet. She just wants to read manga and eat ... and study of course. But well no text books here so can't do that, oops!]

Anyway, I'm sure... There's somewhere to stay, right? [it'll all be fine wont it?]

[ Huh. Other worlds are weird. She shrugs it off soon enough though. ]

Well, there IS free communal housing you can use until you find another place, where you would need to pay for rent. I think the most time they allow one to stay there is one month, so you will have that much time to find somewhere a bit more stable at least.

You have? Just how old are you? [because she looks her own age.]

R-rent?! I can't pay rent! [there's all these big and complicated forms! And other things! and food!] I'm still a middle school student! [she sort of even wants to go back to the other other world now. Or home. Home sounds great. She'll be the greatest student ever and study every day. She's not ready to do all that!]

She seems tense, shoulders stiff before she tries to placate the other girl. ]

I-I am eighteen years of age, but please try to calm down! It should not be so difficult, else many would not have managed here, right? And I am certain there are many who would know and would make such a process easier.

Eighteen is old!

[how can you compare that?!]

I just wanted to go home! I'm not ready to be an adult! Come back red light! Take me back to Yui and Mama and Keisuke! [why was this happening? Was it because she didn't study hard enough? Was it because she wished for something strange? The world suddenly feels very big and she feels very lonely.]

[ Oh no.

She wilts at seeing the other so distressed, her shoulders slumping a little as she tries to think of a solution. ]

Uhm... Well... Perhaps there is something more that can be done? I cannot imagine that there is absolutely nothing for those too young to work, or inexperienced with it, or anything of the sort.

[ HOW DOES SHE DEAL WITH OTHER GIRLS BEING EMOTIONAL HALP ]

Perhaps there is more information around? I know the Schnee company can help those new here become settled, or...

No, she shouldn't, not without asking, but she should at least do what she can to make certain this girl will be all right. ]

Look, you will be all right. That much I can promise you.

[she hears but settling in just sounds so final! She doesn't want to settle in. She wants to go home! Tears spark in her eyes but she tries to hold them back. Especialy since the other girl is promising her that it'll be alright. She sniffs and tries to scrub them away with the back of her hand]

There are many like you here, who are not content with simply staying, and they continually seek ways to return us all to our homes. From what I understand of it, time where we were from freezes whilst we are here -- I have seen for myself that it is what happens.

[ Sort of. Because updating her memories of Nautilus at the dream docks with no one raising a fuss over her going missing to arrive in Genessia totally counts, right? ]

And... I could ask Smoker, if we could room for one more, should all else fail. So that, at least while you are here, you can find some comfort. If that helps at all.

[ Except now she has to bring this up with Smoker. AWKWARD... Her and her big mouth. ]

Sorry to say I haven't seen anyone like that around, but there should be some restaurants and such where you can find food if necessary around here from what I've seen.

I know you will, just... It was not that long ago when I first arrived, and it was because of the kindness of strangers that I was able to thrive. It would be awful of me to not at least offer the same.

Tokyo? I've met quite a few people from Japan. Some from Tokyo. Never been myself though. I'm from Messaline originally. I'm sure you've likely never even heard of it before.
