[Closed for Anakin Skywalker]
It wasn't every day that Grievous invited a Jedi to his apartment and home at The Ave. After speaking to Anakin Skywalker about the return of the lightsaber, Grievous waited. He had a day off to plan some things - the continuation of his trauma centre project, new patrol routes and this new idea. To open a sub-archway to Kalee.
He did miss his home world and the chance to see it again was something he couldn't let go and he felt it was time to now see if he could have it created. But it would need sacrifices - and so he needed the lightsaber that Anakin had taken from him. There were other possibilities, if he couldn't get it back, but he felt this was the most appropriate. It was symbolic of letting go of the past and certain grudges. It made sense to him to exchange such things that had ruled his actions for years, in order to find something else that had been lost. The choice to let any saber go was difficult, and he was planning on giving up two of them. The ones that meant the most. The ones that were connected the most to his hatred of the Jedi. The ones that had started him down that path.
It was time to move on. He just hoped that Skywalker would co-operate. He had sounded reasonable when contacted, but Grievous would be wary until he had the lightsaber in his possession again - even if he was soon going to let it completely go again.
The Ave wasn't the fanciest place in Nova City but it was sleek and modern and suited Grievous just fine. He was in Unit 011 and the apartment itself was compact, almost as if it were one large room, with minimal furnishings. But the walls held secrets, being able to move around and packed with compartments to create any room and furniture combination necessary. Just one at a time. For a being that rarely needed to eat nor rest, it was perfect. In preparation for Anakin, the room was laid out as a simple area for two people to sit down and talk. It seemed fairly bare otherwise and perhaps a little lonely. It was more functional than warm and cozy.
There were two seats and a small shelf that served as a table between them. On it, Grievous had placed one lightsaber. The other that he planned to give up.
And with that, he was ready and waiting.

Finding the address given to him was easy enough, and seeing that it was indeed a regular living place the Jedi Knight was less inclined to expect a trap - An option he hadn't entirely marked off until then.
Once he reached the apartment, he knocked. And then it was his turn to wait for a response.

"I appreciate that you have come here."

He decided to go with that and stepped over to the small table.
"That's the other one?" he asked, looking over at Grievous with interest.

He wasn't sure how the sacrifices worked - and maybe it would take more than this - but he liked to believe that the sabers would in some way go back to where they should be, away from Genessia itself; no longer in his possession.

He shrugged. He had heard of these archways, but as of now hadn't had much interest in them.

"Once the archway is established then I may show you my world, if you still wish to see it."

He turned towards the table and set the lightsaber down right next to the one already on the table.
"And I'd like to hear more about your people and their history."
no subject
"Those would be tales better suited to the environment, where I can show you where things happened. I thank you for allowing me this opportunity."
They may have started off on the wrong foot but he was glad to have at least some beginnings of an understanding here.
