I've lived for a very, very long time. Human nature hasn't changed over the generations, and finding out that the same is true even in other worlds hasn't been reassuring. The only encouraging thing I've found is that there are individuals who are capable of making a difference, even if only a small difference.

That said, my time in this world has, as a whole, been illuminating. I would even be willing to say that, given the choice, I would prefer to stay in this world over my own.
