So it becomes something of a 'chicken or the egg' question. Perhaps my world will end up looking a lot like that in another century or so. I wonder how humanity will react to that.

Of course, we have a pretty good indication of that just from living in this world, don't we? And this world has no shortage of the best and worst of humanity on full display.
