002 ☠ A Very Dirty Magpie

☠1. [Video]

[This was not meant to be taken at all, but here we are. The shot is of the open sky, as though the device is on the ground or floor. Eventually one peg leg is visible, and a dirty booted leg -- It's junkrat, and he's dragging something along with him. As he pulls the bag that's practically bursting with metal scrap and what looks like wire, he pauses and frowns.] Oh, hey I was lookin' for you. Musta fallen outta my pocket. [he picks up the phone, the camera obscured by a dirty, black fingernailed hand.]

"HEY, where the hell do you think you're goin with my trash?!"

Oops, looks like I'm busted. -- Ain't yours anymore mate! I'VE got a use for it. [he pauses and looks at the video feed now, while the man he's "stealing" from continues to yell.] Oh hey, any ideas on how to get this guy to bugger off? You know, to make it a little easier on me.

☠2. [Action] Oooo, Shiny

[Junkrat's been busy, very busy. Today he's gathering metal scraps from stores, bits and pieces that have been tossed out and discarded. Batteries, wires, uncomplicated circut boards. You name it. It's all a little suspicious, but he seems happy with himself. He's probably even humming a little tune to himself as he walks by.

[[A]]Junkrat looks pretty unique, peg leg and metal arm, and general uh, dirty look. At least he's wearing some clothes, since the weather is chilly. He is, however, a striking 6'6", which can be a bit intimidating. It should also make it hard for him to be subtle, considering his everything. But he's doing a pretty good job of swiping things here and there. It's mostly junk, no one will miss it right? Unless you want to give him a hard time, or ask what the hell he needs this garbage for.]

[[[B]] Or he stops, in some cases. Should you have something on you that's metal of some kind or perhaps anything that might have the kind of circuit board he wants he'll stop and ask to see it, or ask for it out right. It's like he's some sort of very large, dirty magpie.]

Say, you still want that little bit of scrap? Can't really pay you anythin' for it but I'll ahaha, take it off your hands.

[Well today, that bit of metal was attached to... a lot of metal.

Skyfire, currently, wasn't moving. Not because anything was wrong, far from it. But even Cybertronians had to rest. Without a proper place to recharge or settle, he'd taken up this generally large and open space, his chin resting on his chest, optics blacked out, wings shifted down.

Looking, for all the world, like a very very big, very very nonoperational robot.

The only movement here is from a small flock of birds that have perched on those massive wings, of whom start to call and squawk as soon as Junkrat starts wandering too close to what they've clearly claimed as their roost for the moment]

[He should have been paying more attention. But when the piece he's trying to lift doesn't, well, liftM Junkrat does some investigating, half climbing up on the cybertronian the best he can with one actual foot and peg leg.

Once Junkrat has discovered that this hunk of junk looks eerily like a really, really large omnic, his face falls, looking more darkly irritated than it had been before.]

Ugh, omnics. [The disgust in his voice is just about palatable.] Whod'a thunk one of these things'd be here? [he lifts a hand up to stroke his chin, still perched up there with the birds. As far as he knows this thing's deactivated.]

[With the birds screaming, Junkrat climbing all over him, and now the subsequent bitching, it was kind of hard for Skyfire to actually stay in stasis.

The wings shift, and the birds suddenly dart away, a mass of feathers and SOUND. Apparently they weren't expecting their perch to start moving, the Autobot's optics blazing back online again as he groggily lifts his head.]

I'm sorry?

[Yeah, yeah an apology is the first thing that leaves his mouth, he doesn't even know what's going on or who's here but we're gonna cover our bases.]

W-woah HEY! STOP!! [aaaand there he goes, unable to keep a grip on where he's perched, tumbling to the ground and landing in a manner where he might as well be eating turf. He recovers quickly though, practically leaping up to land on his feet again, eyes set wide on the now moving autobot.]

You darn well better be ya blasted omnic! This ain't the place for somethin' your size to be nappin!! [also fuk u, if Junkrat's verbal bristling wasn't enough]

[OH NO THE HUMAN FELL. Skyfire wasn't a human expert by any stretch of the imagination but he's pretty sure humans are pretty delicate.

This one kinda looks super chewed up already oh no]

On- No I'm not... I don't know what that is, sir.

I am sorry for startling you, I had no idea you were up there, are you alright?

[It doesn't... know. what. It... ???????]

[now it's asking him how he is. Junkrat pauses, uncertain, a scowl still plastered on his face as he reaches up to brush the dirt smudge and a few stray strands of grass off his cheek. There's still a smileyface bandaid there from when Lior put it on him a day or two ago.]

I'm fine, you nosy hunk o junk!

No, you're mistaken. I'm a Cybertronian. I'm afraid I haven't heard of the Omnic species yet.

[if u listen very carefully, u can hear the question marks everywhere because everything makes no sense]

[Dray's looks are also pretty unusual, that with being covered from head to toe in light golden fur,plus the ears and cat tail. Much like Junkrat, the Eidion has been looking for supplies to make his craft projects now that he's close to open his own shop.

He had been both buying and scavenging, and now Dray sat by a fountain, inspecting all the things he had collected. One of them is an old vintage radio but the machinery inside it it's not of use of him in the end. Maybe if he knew how to repair it the radio could be savaged but Dray doesn't know how to work on it. When Junkrat addresses him, the Eidion's ears peck up and he stares at the tall man. Dray has never seen him before.]

You really want this? It's all broken, the radio doesn't work.

[Truly he needs to be injured more.]

Play dead; that usually does the trick, and it's certainly less effort.

[Suddenly! A girl arrives! She blinked up]

Woooah..you're tall for a human, and with metal on you. Whatcha doing?

[he smelled like the earth, that's what attracted this dragon to him]

[Winry was carrying a bag of metal for she needed to make a trip to Fayren for purposes of getting it made into parts she needed, she had been lugging it around for the past thirty minutes as she had been traveling from home and had been slowly making her way to the archway when she was stopped for the moment.

She paused for a moment before looking over at her bag.]

I kind of need some of it. But I can part with the rest, but why do you need metal exactly?

[Oh, it's blondie again. What was her name? Did they exchange names before? Junkrat's forgotten, regardless.]

Well I ain't gonna take it if you need it, s'why I asked my question. [but to answer hers, he starts off with a shrug.] Buildin stuff. Ya never know what parts will fit together good.

[Oh uh. Junkrat leans back somewhat, not really having expected a small girl all up in his personal space.]

What, mate? [Wait. She asked him a question] Uh, gettin materials, 'sall.

That ain't gonna help me much, mate. Pretty sure it's easy to figure out. [He shrugs] My solution's just to blow up the alley. He can't follow me if there's no path, ahahaha!

[Dray is certainly unique looking, but Junkrat can't really say much himself -- look at how HE looks. So he doesn't comment, for now at least. He's seen a lot of weird shit since arriving here anyway. All in stride.]

Are you kidding, mate? There's all sorts of good stuff on the inside.

[he holds out a dirty hand for the radio.] Hand it here and I'll show ya!

A what? You bots all look the same to me. [junkrat you're missing the point.]

Eh, whatever. And for tha' last time I'm fine! Ain't nothin hurting I can't deal with. [Sore is sore and junkrat's dealt with worse. I mean, metal appendages and all. We all know how he lost those body parts.]

[Dray has seen a lot of funny looking humans since he arrived to this world. He never pays much attention to their looks, they're always interesting to him. And since the blond, Dray is almost sure the hair is blown under all that soot, is so interested he has no problem in handling him the radio with a smile.]

Sure. I like to learn new things. You never know when things like this might come in handy, right? I'm Dray, nice to meet you.

[listen don't judge his level of soot. It's taken him a long time to get just the RIGHT amount of dirty.]

Huh? [Junkrat had already plopped down next to dray, peg leg swung over to rest on the knee of his other leg as he set about prying open the radio (which, to be generous to him, he was doing quite deftly] Oh, roight. The name's Junkrat.

[eventually, he manages to pop the radio in two, revealing its innards.]

[Oh yes, a hair like that clearly needs a lot of maintenance and dedication. Alas, Dray is kind of a neat freak and likes to keep his fur clean, sorry mate.

He looks at his work with interest, letting out a small 'oh!' when the radio is pulled apart.] We don't have this sort of technology where I used to live. You seem to be an expert, Junkrat.

[Look, he does his best, he's more often than not blowing SOMETHING up. Give him a little slack Dray. You can be clean for the both of them.]

Haha, I'm a junker. Its what we do. This sorta junk's pretty old though. [he starts to pull the pieces apart, setting them aside for dray to look at as he does so] Musta been PRETTY borin' wherever you came from.

Where there's a will, there's a way, even if it's not a straight line. Are you very insistent on escape? He may be a first-rate conversationalist, and very eager to talk to you.

I dunno 'bout that mate. Sounds pretty miffed I nicked his scrap if you ask me. This guy isnt after conversation.

[But it amuses him none the less.]

Well, Junkrat, it's considered unmannerly to repair to your phone while there's company about. That and the nicking have doubtless offended him deeply. You must attend to the physical before the virtual, lest you lose touch with decorum.

[And what is Junkrat if not mannerly?]

Sometimes you make me wonder just what's goin on up there in your melon.

[JR. would not be the first. Junior! Why didn't he think of calling him that sooner]

[He hangs up, wondering how he can talk and run at the same time. And on one leg, no less!]
