(While Tomoyo doesn't usually appear on camera herself, she's no stranger to it. She had actually arrived sometime before hand, but wanted to fully understand her situation first. She'll be front and center after turning it on with expert precision.)

Greetings, Genessia.

I was wondering if anyone had arrived here by the name of Sakura Kinomoto? She's my dearest friend. I'm Tomoyo Daidouji, but you can just call me Tomoyo.

(Plus, if Sakura were here then certainly everything would be alright. ~~She could get started on making more adorable costumes for her to wear!~~ After a moment or so, she'll turn it off.)

Speaking of luck! Why, you couldn't have picked better timing! It's her birthday today, if I intuit correctly! Quick; what does she like?

[Just a casual glance at the network to see if there was anything new, but then a double take.]

Hoee? ...Is... Is that...?

[A quick fumble of the device to actually make sure the audio and video was working correctly.]

Tomoyo-chan?!

Is that really you?

Sakura-chan! You are here!

(Tomoyo would have to thank the boy who'd contacted her a bit earlier. At the moment...)

It looks like the new adventures of Cardcaptor Sakura take place beyond the stars and into new worlds!

[Sakura really can't say either way if this really is an adventure. She hasn't sensed any Clow cards or anything out of the ordinary lately. Though it doesn't matter right now, she's just happy that someone from Tomoeda is here now. and it happens to be her best friend! Happy days~]

Yeah, looks like it... Where are you right now? Are Kero-chan and Li-kun with you as well?

The Commons. It doesn't look like I've seen either Li-kun or Kero-chan.

(She knows that type of news wouldn't please her, but she would do her best to be the first to tell her if/when they did arrive.)

[It was sad to hear, but still. Sakura is happy to see Tomoyo again, at least.]

I see! I'm at the K&H Home for Children. I'm coming over to you, okay?

[Good thing she took time to learn the town layout.]

Okay! I'll be waiting for you at the front.

(Tomoyo would indeed be waiting for Sakura when she did arrive, a pleased smile and one of relief that neither of them were alone.)

[And it certainly didn't take long for Sakura to arrive. She honestly ran all this way since she woke up in Genessia without her rollerblades, and didn't want to get caught using magic by calling on The Fly card.

She stopped just steps away, trying to catch her breath now. Seeing Tomoyo right here in person after so many weeks... Nope, Sakura wasn't going to cry the happy tears. And she wasn't holding them back too well.]

To...Tomoyo-chan...! I'm here! I'm happy to see you again...

[Now if everyone else will arrive...]

Sakura-chan! I'm so glad to see you!

(While it probably hasn't felt that long to Tomoyo, she knows for Sakura it had to have been really hard and painful to be separated from all of them for so long.)

Are you okay? Have you been here long?

[Now that she finally caught her breath, she can stop looking like she just ran a marathon.]

I'm fine. I've been here...maybe a little over a month now?

I've met some good people, and even got a few pets, so it wasn't all bad.
Did you just arrive?

Mm! Truthfully, it's been a few days or so since I first got here but I wanted to understand our situation first and why we were brought here. Otherwise I would've contacted you much sooner!

(She blinks, then smiles broadly.)

A pet? That sounds fantastic! Do any of them look like Kero-chan?

[That makes sense. But now it's a double whammy of Tomoyo's intuition and preparedness.

Tomoyo, are you psychic?]

Yes, actually. It's called a Litleo.

[And Sakura reveals a red and white spherical capsule. When it popped popped, a mass of glowing energy took the shape of a lion cub. It looks around, then just stares at Tomoyo.]

I have others too. But... Tomoyo-chan, if you've been here for a few days, does that mean you already know what to do here?

Ooh, a Litleo! Did you name him Kero-chan?

(Tomoyo bends down to gently pet the Pokémon once it appears, seriously wishing she had a camera to film this moment. She'd call it 'Meeting Sakura-chan's first pet!' or something similar.)

Mostly. Weiss-san explained it in detail, but I have a small amount of money which will only last a certain amount of time. I'll have to acquire a job of some kind to obtain more, as well as new living arrangements. At the end of the month, I'll be evicted from this area.

[The Litleo was all too happy to meet Tomoyo...and tackle her hand with all its tiny strength. This little cub is always trying to pick a fight. Good thing it's not very strong yet.]

I did. I called him Leo at first, then I realized the striking resemblance.

[Ah, Sakura had heard that people staying at the Commons can only stay for a month, so there was only one thing to do.]

You should come stay with me, Tomoyo-chan. I can look for a job as well.

(Tomoyo giggled lightly at the impact Litleo made with its head against her hand; it was nothing more than a light throbbing.)

Mm! The resemblance is quite striking. I wonder if he can change.

(Her expression changed dramatically -literally once hearing the good news that she could leave the Commons much sooner than expected.)

That sounds amazing, Sakura-chan! You have to show me around. I know the first thing I'll buy with my earnings...

(Pause for dramatic effect...and she's in your face within seconds.)

A NEW CAMERA! I must recapture your glorious beauty on film while we're here! To think I've missed over a month of your heroic deeds...it's a true crime against nature!

[Litleo may or may not be trying to bite your shoes now, Tomoyo.]

I don't know... I heard they get stronger by fighting others, but I couldn't make them do that...

[Precious Sakura just couldn't do that. She was only slightly startled when Tomoyo suddenly appeared much closer with the oh-so-familiar plan to film her again. "The beautiful heroine Sakura Kinomoto, caught on film." Sakura giggled softly in embarrassment.]

T-Tomoyo-chan...

[You didn't change one bit, Tomoyo. This probably means she'll have to find trouble to resolve heroically.

Speaking of trouble...]

... By the way, have you noticed? The sudden appearance of all these eggs?

(Tomoyo does feel some motion around her feet, but so far nothing resembling bite marks.)

Oh? Like being in friendly matches or some sort of competition?

(Tomoyo will definitely do her best to ensure Sakura's caught spectacularly on film no matter what. She'll also have to come up with new designs for battle outfits.)

...They are curious. I told myself it would be best not to approach them until we have more information.

[Sakura really didn't want to say. Hopefully her sad look is enough that she means actual fighting, based on what she heard about it when the Pokémon were still here.

She nods agreeingly at Tomoyo about avoiding the eggs.]

I don't sense a Clow card, but there is something definitely off about them.

[Sakura brings out her phone, thinking about checking out the network to see if anyone is questioning these eggs as well.]

(Tomoyo could easily ascertain the expression on Sakura's face, realizing instantly what she meant. They were similar to the battles she already experienced with the Clow cards.

She reached out to give her friend a gentle hug, only pulling away when Sakura brought out her phone.)

Other than the eggs and these...cute animals, have any other strange events taken place?

[The hug alone was enough to cheer up Sakura enough to give figuring out these mysterious eggs her full attention. She keeps her phone out so both she and Tomoyo can see what's on the network.]

I've heard some weird things have happened before, but I wasn't around for them.

[There were definitely new posts on the network. Almost all of them are from young children, barely any older than her and Tomoyo.

But so far, nothing that jumps out to say that the eggs are dangerous.]

If only Kero-chan was here...

(Tomoyo makes sure to give the network her undivided attention, in awe of the technology that went into making such unique devices.)

Interesting. Perhaps we'll get to see more weirdness take place the longer we're here...and if that's the case...

(Tomoyo's expression quickly changed into one Sakura should know very well.)

You'll need to wear LOTS of magnificent battle costumes accustomed to any and all different types of weather if we're to solve these cases!

[Sakura keels over in defeat, simply giving Tomoyo a gentle pat on the shoulder.

Oh yeah, she knows exactly what's going to happen on a semi-regular basis.]

Y-Yeah...

[But then, a PSA is posted urging residents to stay away from the eggs. Sakura glances at Tomoyo.]

What do you think?

(Tomoyo remains in that position for quite a while, even after the gentle pat. She only snaps out of it once noting the PSA warning people to stay away from the eggs.

She looks back at Sakura, her expression not quite as joyful as it was seconds ago.)

...There must be some sort of connection between the children who've made all these posts and the eggs. Perhaps people who were already here?

[Sakura nods. She's ready to go into Cardcaptor mode.]

Maybe we should try to collect as many of these eggs as we can, just to be safe.

[And yet, there are so many eggs. It definitely does feel like mischief a Clow card would do, but she still doesn't sense anything.]

... Easier said than done, though... I'll need to go back to my room and get a Clow card that can help us.

(Tomoyo nods, bending down to gently pet Litleo who's still at her feet for a moment before coming right back up.)

We should use caution when collecting these eggs. If we're being warned to stay away from them, physical contact could do more harm than help.

(Her expression brightened a bit. Sakura did have some Clow cards!)

[Ah, yes. Litleo was still there, trying to show Tomoyo who is the biggest, baddest lion around by weakly tackling and biting shoes.

Up until Sakura recalls it to its pokeball, anyway. Now it's nap time for the cub.

Then, Sakura pulls out two cards she always keeps on her at almost all times, The Windy and The Fly.]

I have these two, as well as many more in my room. I'm thinking I can try using The Float to bring the eggs safely to us.

[This is Genessia, though. Chances are very high it won't be that simple.]

(Tomoyo giggled lightly once Litleo was recalled. Had Sakura not done so, she might've risked being bitten by picking him up.

Her attention was drawn to the cards, noting immediately they were Clow cards and not...other cards.)

That could be doable. We'll need something soft to put them in so we don't have to touch them directly ourselves. A basket, maybe?

(Tomoyo might've glanced at some of the PSA posts over Sakura's shoulder a bit earlier to check out the possible effects the eggs had to others.)

[When this is over, Sakura will need to show off her other two Pokémon.

She quietly thinks about the idea of a basket for a moment.]

Yes, but where will we put them all that's big enough to hold all these eggs...?

[...Idea!]

How about a pool?

A pool...! That sounds like a marvelous idea!

But where would we find one so readily available?

(And more importantly, could eggs float? Or would they just be smashed into pieces upon hitting the waterless-filled pool?)

[Okay, that will be a problem. If they did find a pool with water in it, whoever owns it probably won't appreciate two girls dumping a bunch of eggs in it.]

...There must be something we can do to get them safely out of the way...

...And without getting affected by them ourselves. (Definitely something Tomoyo would repeat until it resonated with Sakura too.)

If a pool isn't available for us, how about a small lake? The results would still be the same, but no one owns wildlife!

[A lake will work, so time for more thinking.]

We can't put them in The Bay because people arrive from there...

[Just one more moment and...]

The Garden Park pond? It's the closest and biggest body of water in town.

[Fai was always quick on the ball when it came to people from other worlds. He knows how it works.]

I believe someone has already pointed out such a person. I'm glad you have someone from your world here.

Huh? You're friends with Sakura-chan?

My name is Madoka... and yes, there's a Sakura here! She's a cute little brunette girl... Is that who you mean?

Mm! We've known each other since the third grade.

(She nods eagerly at the description of Sakura, a grateful smile appearing on her face.) Yes! That's who I mean.

That sounds fantastic! Glorious plan, Sakura-chan!

(Clasp! Tomoyo's hands clasp Sakura's in a congratulatory manner.)

I'm certain we'll be able to solve this mystery and procure the eggs in no time.

Then it's settled! Tonight, we're going egg hunting.

[Don't worry, Tomoyo! One day, you'll film something extra cool.]
