Setting it in her room, she forgot about it until she was throwing on her pajamas and getting ready for bed. Cracking it open, she found nothing, and tossed it into the trash can before curling up under the blankets to sleep.

It was when she woke up that she realized that something was off. She opened her eyes, but everything was still black. Panic rising, she took a deep breath to try and calm herself and realized it still smelled like the place she shared with Prince and his friends. She was still home, at least. Taking a moment, she reached up to check her eyes and felt... scars?

"Prince Noctis? Ign--" Her voice was much deeper. And familiar... but, that couldn't happen, right?

Ignis had a similar experience with an egg annoyingly placed in his bed the night before. He shook it, not hearing anything, and opened it to find it empty on his end as well. He chalked it up to one of the others trying to be funny and shook his head as he threw the plastic egg in the garbage before laying down and falling asleep for the night.

The next morning he stretched and yawned, and opened his eyes...

.....

In an almost panic, he jumped out of bed, and almost losing his balance as his, well, her center of balance was quite different.

He looked down to his dainty, yet slightly calloused hands, and touched his own chest- and immediately jumped, letting go as if he was doing something indecent. He ran to the nearest mirror, and in a very feminine voice that was all too familiar, he spoke aloud.

"By the Six-" he covered his mouth. In the mirror staring back at him was Cindy Aurum.

Wait... if he was to conclude that he was in Cindy's body, then-

He heard his own voice call out, and knew where his room was from his muscle memory, and knelt at the side of his bed, touching his body's shoulders.

"Cindy is that you? I hope only we were affected by this strange curse. Are you feeling okay?" Her voice was proper and sounded just like she was doing a good impression of him as he spoke.

When he made it to his room, he'd find her sitting on the edge of the bed, blanket around her shoulders. She felt weird sitting there shirtless, even if she couldn't see anything. From how it sounded, Ignis was in her body. And for a moment, she smiled and chuckled.

"You know, I don't think I've ever spoken so proper in my life." Before getting serious again. "I'm okay. Well, as okay as I can be, I think." She looked in his general direction, considering she did have to guess a little bit.

"...Getting used to this."
