OTA - Little Amelia Pond, before the world got it odd....
Who: Little Amelia Pond (I will be replying from the journal Still_waiting)
What: Easter Egg event
When: all event
Where: Mostly in the archway River created, but may wander
Warnings: Bratty little kid who is known to bite.
(OOC note: I am still on hiatus, this is me tentatively trying to START coming back to this game.)
Amy had found the odd egg on her bed when she had been changing the sheets... She had touched it and then...
Little Amelia blinked up, looking around with confusion on her face. This wasn't her room. She looked at the walls. No crack. That was good. But where were all her toys and dolls and art? She climbed off of the bed and went to the closet. Adult clothing, but none of it was Aunt Sharon's. Her eyes widened at some of the skirts, Aunt Sharon would have been angry if someone wore skirts that small. She pulled one down. Maybe this was hers, then? Because it was small for an adult but on her it would be longer. Ugh. She jumped up to hang it up again and missed. She finally left it on the floor anyway. She hated skirts.
There were reasons she counted as a boy. And not just because of how much she got into trouble at school. Though that helped.
She left the bedroom and started to explore the house. Creepy. "Aunt Sharon?" she called. Not that she expected a response. Aunt Sharon spent a lot of time away. She explored the rooms, getting more and more confused. River's room made no sense, but some rooms made even less sense; the rooms that clearly had... well... they looked like rooms for little boys except everything was adult sized. She picked up a bowtie in one of them and frowned. She went to the mirror and held it up under her chin, then made a face and tossed it on the bed. There was a fez. She tried that on and looked in the mirror. It fell down her face and hit her nose. She scowled and pulled it off, tossing it on the floor.
Deciding that room was boring, she kept exploring. She found a photo of people on the wall. One... if she could remember her mum, she'd wonder if that was what her mum looked like, but she was pretty sure it wasn't. And then next to her was someone who looked like Rory's dad except not really, because Rory's dad didn't look like that. A cousin of Rory's, maybe? Were she and Rory actually related? That was weird. And between them was some adult with weird hair and a bow tie. She wondered who they all were.
Then she shrugged and kept exploring. She played with the Wii a bit, once she figured out what that was. And found a lot of weird stuff in the kitchen. It was kind of a mess by the time she went back to exploring, carrying a carton of ice cream with her as she went.
As she wandered and ate, she finally found the attic. Aunt Sharon said that good little girls didn't go poking around in attics and cellars. But Aunt Sharon wasn't here... so....
It took Amelia several tries to get the door pulled down, even using the odd hook thing that was on the wall. She jumped back, spilling the ice cream when the stairs fell. But she left the mess and climbed up them, ready to explore and look for whatever might be up there.
Boxes. Lots of boxes. Well... that was boring. She started opening them, and poking around. The first thing that was actually interesting was a long wedding dress and a nice tuxedo that were wrapped up together and hanging in a standing box. She wondered if they belonged to ghosts who filled the clothes at night and danced around through the walls. That was an amusing thought. More boxes were boring and then she hit treasure. A box full of her things! She pulled out her Raggedy Doctor doll and her stuffed Tardis. She found her old suitcase and her hat... but very little clothing. She was wearing her school uniform, so at least it wasn't going out in a night dress and coat like she was still a baby. But she loaded as many toys as she could into the suitcase and took it in one hand. She took her plush Tardis in the other and decided she had enough of exploring the house, she was going to play outside. Maybe she could find Mels....
