[Winry had started her day as normal. She got up, she made breakfast as well as making extra for the morning trip that she would always take to the library. Someone had to make sure that a certain someone would eat and she tended to be the one that made sure.
So she had made a few simple things, placed them into a bag before heading off to the library. But it wasn't long before she found herself looking around the place, no sign of the other anywhere. That was rather strange, to say the least since he was always here around this time. It was enough to cause the woman to worry a bit. At least enough to get her to check the device and check something. It wasn't long till her worries were confirmed. His name was no longer there.
Admittedly the realization was a tiny bit painful, but at the same time, it was a good thing right? He had wanted to go home and do what he needed to. It was a good thing and she admittedly was maybe a bit happy for him, even if she was here still. She still had others at least. Friends she had made some people still from her world minus one other that she had taken badly as well, but had managed to keep that quiet and mostly to herself. Advantage really of living alone.
She was walking to her office in the hospital when she sent out a text message.]
If anyone needs me today, they'll find me in my workplace at the hospital or at my apartment. Sorry for those who I need to see today and ask that we rearrange for another day. I just have a lot of work to do right now.
I'm also sorry for how I acted during the whole egg thing. I came off as angry and mean and I am sorry about that.
Ah, for those who work at the hospital, there are a few patients that I need measurements from and I am not sure who their doctors are, so if you are connected to someone who needs a new limb, please let me know.
[When she had finished she headed off to the hospital, where she was sticking to her workplace and focusing on doing what she needed to. At the odd occasion she might come out if she is needed, but otherwise, she expects if people need her to come to her workplace and knock.
When her job was done or she had to go home for the day, she simply found herself just going from point A to point B.]

And because he's grouchy Eliot, he became rather irritated by it. He made and packed a small lunch, complete with dessert, before dropping by the hospital. When he asked about giving Winry something, he was directed to her office. He looks really happy to be there as he taps on the door.
Spoiler: He is not looking very happy.]
Hey. Tell me I'm wasting my time and you've already eaten.
action
However, she could tell he wasn't exactly happy.]
I haven't. I had to get something done by a set time, so I didn't eat. I actually gave my lunch to someone else. [She paused before she finally takes the goggles off.]
Am I an annoyence today or something? You don't seem happy to be here. Is this about what happened before?
no subject
As she removes her goggles, Eliot is holding out the lunch bag.]
It’s not you. Someone stole the pocket watch. [Actually, he sold it to Rip when he was six. He’s sure Winry knows what the watch does, since he used it to clear away his bad personality after biting her.] That’s not the point. I made you lunch. [...] Think of it as revenge for strong willing me into feeding myself before.
no subject
[She tilted her head slightly before gesturing for him to come in as she stood up. In all honesty, she figured it might seem odd to have him simply standing outside the whole time they talked. Usually, people came in.]
How sweet of you though to make lunch, though you didn't need to, nor... is it really a revenge.
no subject
The one I use to switch personalities. Can't you tell I'm being a jerk? [Mean people do bring their friends free meals! Which he sets down somewhere for her.]
Clearly, given you gave yours away, I did. You always work too hard and care too much... Just accept it and eat it. It doesn't taste like blood or anything.
no subject
[It wasn't like she didn't know how to handle. Perhaps she knew how to handle such attitudes quite well.]
I did have a lot at the time, I was never going to eat it all. [Winry had moved to stand up, leaving the work she had been doing to the side for the moment.]
I wasn't going to think it did taste like blood. Just because your a vampire doesn't mean you think to put blood in everything.
no subject
[As much as it would be fun to smile and laugh, this variation of Eliot simply cannot. His head is still ringing and he feels nauseous from his memories. The most he can manage is caring about Winry, even if it comes off harshly.]
And, well. Ms Rip likes blood in her tea, so. [He shrugs.]
no subject
[She wasn't going to, she couldn't help but laugh slightly, however really. No she was going to eat originally. She was just going to take something from the machine as what she had made had been for someone else as well as hers and it was just a sad reminder. So she didn't mind if someone had a good lunch at the hospital.]
I will eat, though I assume she is a vampire too?
no subject
[He stands up against the wall now, arms crossed as he leans back. Though he keeps almost closing his eyes, Eliot snaps back. Stubborn about his own issues.]
I'll be stubborn and stand here all day if I have to, too. Don't test me.
no subject
[Because she never knows what the next day will bring it seems. She assumes those she cared about would stay with her, but instead found them going home. She knew now how things would be, but it still did hurt never the less.]
I won't test you, not this time anyway. [She went to check what he had brought before going to take a bite. The moment she did she realized just how hungry she actually was.]
no subject
[He would pester her more about never encountering Rip, but pauses that thought. Winry is a lot less energetic than he's used to.]
Are you okay? I haven't made you ill, have I?
no subject
No, no. Maybe it's just the hunger. But I assume I look off. If so, sorry.
no subject
[He gives her a suspicious look, but decides to let it go.]
Well. I won't keep you. I know how busy you are.
no subject
[She paused for a moment.]
I appreciate it.
no subject
He looks away, just in case. Now that his body has blood to spare, he's blushing more than usual. What a pain...!]
Y, yeah, well. Just don't make a habit of forgetting your lunch! And such. I'm an idiot, so I probably won't come by again. [Or he will forget each visit, and someday bring Winry lunch five separate times.]
no subject
[She was trying to play it off as a joke, but sometimes it might actually happen if she spends all night working on something. But she was trying to make sure she was doing better in that area here.]
I'll at least walk you to the door or the hospital exit, as I am probably going to take a break.
no subject
[Because he's not sure it's a joke. With how late she stays up working, he wouldn't be surprised.]
If you're sure. Thanks. [Eliot briefly closes his eyes, shuddering against the psychological fear of blinking, before stepping towards the door himself. He's so tired and really wants his pocket watch back.] Be sure to make it a real break, and not just a new side job.
no subject
[Which was rue for the most part. Here her job was making limbs for people and when not doing that she worked on improvements, which was always a slow and steady process.
She moved to leave the room for the moment, starting her walk toward the exit.]
