Hi, hey. Um... I just wanted to say... Thank you, everyone. [She paused for a moment before she reveals her gold and silver trophies. She seemed rather happy about them. Excited actually.]

I've never won anything before, but then... I never left the tower before either, so I have no way of winning anything but... While I didn't win for best hair and the winner, I must admit does have fabulous hair. I voted for her actually because it looks so soft and I wonder how she gets it like that. I wanted to thank you for at least voting. I promise me and my hair will do our best to help out should it be needed.

[She smiles her charming smile.]

My pokemon also seem really happy to have won. They want to eat there award right now, but I'm having them save them for later when I make them something. I'm thinking maybe a berry pie or something, what do you think?

[With that she switches off.]

[Rapunzel was a woman of her word, she was going to go out and do her best to help those who need it and not expect anything else in return. Be it a simple scratch from a cat to someone with a broken leg, Rapunzel made her way over and asked if it was okay. When she was given the permission she placed her hair on the injury and closed her eyes and soon sung a simple song, which at the begining causes the hair to glow.]

Flower, gleam and glow

What once was mine... [When she finished the last note her hair slowly reverted back to its usual look as she checked it.]

There we go, good as new. [She smiled happily before moving to stand up, before whoever it was said anything she simply gave a little bow.] I'm glad to have been of service, but you don't need to say anything. Just be careful next time okay?

[She gave a small chuckle as she soon headed off once more on another adventure, or something else completely.]

[Rapunzel waved slightly as she switched the device on. She seemed happy as there was a tonne of books and fabrics surrounding her. It seemed like a lot. behind her sat a dummy that appeared to have a really fancy dress on it. Details, sparkly.]

Now that I know what a prom is. I have decided to let everyone know I do commissions for dresses and suits. It doesn't cost a lot and you get that dream dress you always wanted. So let me know if you want one made, then we can meet and get it all sorted.

The fuck's a Pokemon?

A pokemon is a creature that comes in many forms. I currently have three and they are all adorable.

[Give her a moment...]

Though what does fuck mean? [She really has no clue.]

So it's just a stupid animal.

Hah?! You seriously don't know what fuck means?! It ain't my job to educate you, but it's a way to embellish your language and it's also something idiots do when they like each other.

[There were many aspects of Genessia that felt familiar to Hikari. There were others that felt strange. But on rare occasion...such as right then...she would encounter something so equally strange yet familiar:]

Your hair...glows?

[She stood off to one side, having witnessed the scene in its entirety. Eyes wide.]

They're not stupid animals. They look out for me if they think I'm in trouble. They are also smart.

I do not. [Something idiots do when they like each other... be prepared for the answer.]

They hug? Or in the romantic sense, they kiss. I know that.

[The person she had just helped had wondered off as Rapunzel stood up straight and wiped down her dress of any dirt that had come from the street before speaking.]

It does. it's been like that since I was a baby apparently.

Do you know how? Why?

[It vaguely dawned on her that the questions might seem a bit bold to ask someone she’d just met, but...at worst, if she was told to mind her business, she would drop the subject. But continue to wonder.]

Sounds more like you're so helpless you need a bunch of shitty animals to babysit you.

[?!?!] The fuck? Are you really that dense?! Guess it can't be helped. It's not my job to teach you, go ask a friend or something.

I am actually quite capable. Managed to knock a man out with just a frying pan.

[She... is also not kidding.]

I wouldn't say dense, more not being allowed to go outside limits what I can actually learn or know. Only can learn so much with the same five books most of your life. But I will ask a friend, thank you for the suggestion.

No. I just know if I sing it works.

[She doesn't really get told much about it. She would like to know why exactly it happens but at the same time, she knows what it does so is there any point.]

But it helps people so that's good never the less.

[That, more than anything, impressed Hikari. In fact, she seemed almost in awe for a moment before the other girl's latter statement properly registered, and she smiled sheepishly in return.]

Oh, no. I think it's wonderful. That you have an ability like that...and are using it to help people.

[She knew she could control it with that song, it was what she was told anyway.]

It is wonderful, even if it has its disadvantages, like the fact as you can tell I have really long hair. I cannot cut it or it will vanish.

[It..vanishes...if she cut her hair?]

I've...never heard of something like that affecting it before.

But your hair is really pretty. [She reached up, lightly toying at the tips of her bangs.] I couldn't imagine having long hair. It's pretty much always been this short, ever since I was little.

It's strange but true.

[She moved to run her fingers through a certain part of her hair, pushing some of it back to reveal a small brown strand.]

Someone apparently tried, thus why this bit is different from the rest of my hair. [She smiled slightly.]

I like your hair. It looks like it's easy to manage. I take three hours to brush my hair, less sometimes if I am lucky.

Three hours.

[She couldn't help a small, awkward giggle escape at that.]

I probably spend about three minutes brushing mine in the morning. And, as far as I know, cutting it wouldn't stop me from glowing.

Yeah, but that is because of how long it is.

[Which thankfully she was slowly learning how to tie it up so people wouldn't trip on it sometimes. It was a thing she noticed happened quite often.]

I know hair doesn't glow. Just mine, but it's probably a good thing yours doesn't.

[Hikari was silent at that. For a long moment. Long enough to be noticeable, really, especially since it should have been an easy enough sentiment to agree with.]

[Only...for her, it wasn't. Not without lying.]

...it does. Sort of.

[In the end, she felt it was only fair. She had been told about the girl's hair, so she would share her own...unique ability in return.]

Not just my hair. All of me. But...not often. Only a few times. And I don't think I've ever found a way to...control it.

It always just sort of happened.

[Rapunzel stayed silent as she listened. She glowed all over. That was not something she had heard of before. More so when she said she doesn't know how to control it really. It was... interesting to say the least.]

So... does your glowing do anything?

[...how did she even begin to explain?]

It does.

[There was hesitation in her tone. Trying to figure out what to say, as well as how to say it.]

When I was a little girl, the glow...I remember it appearing when I met these little creatures who needed my help. They were called digimon, and I suppose...something about the light gave them more energy.

Then after that, it sort of guided me to find oniichan. We'd been separated and trapped underground, but the light led our way back to him.

[She listened to the whole thing. She had never heard of anything like that before, but then again the young blonde at least was aware of the fact strange things could happen and this seemed to be the strange thing in the other's world.]

So your light helped in a different way mine did.

[Not always.]

[But as thoughts of the Numemon flashed in her mind, HIkari realized that she was probably weighing the conversation down more than necessary. So instead, she forced a faint smile and nodded at the other girl's assessment.]

I guess it did.

[Rapunzel paused for a moment before walking over to the other happily. She might be a little close.]

I'm glad to hear it. I mean I've always felt odd because I was the only one here whose hair glowed, but now I know someone who glows themselves.

[The proximity was...a bit of an adjustment, but Hikari was also somewhat used to Mimi, so she wasn't so nearly as thrown by the forwardness as she otherwise might have been.]

I know the feeling.

Even among my friends...I've always been a little more different. It's nice to meet another person who knows what that's like.

[She wouldn't say she knew exactly what it was like if she was in her own world. Mostly because the only person she could have compared herself to was her own mother. She knew she didn't do anything special, but never the less here was different.

She knew people could do amazing things and not just her. It was fun to learn.]

It is. Though there are many people here who can do wonderful and amazing things. It's also much easier to find people like that too here it seems. I wonder if the world picks those that are different.

It's possible.

[There were five Chosen Children here currently, after all. Each "different" in their own respect. Along with so many other unique individuals Hikari had met. And now Rapunzel.]

I know this world is different, too. There may not be the same kind of dangers, but things have happened here that would never happen back in the Real World.

[The Digital World? ...maybe.]

Hmmm, I have seen things happen here that I don't think would have ever happened back home.

[It was still interesting never the less.]

But never the less, we can make the most of it here, don't yo think?

[Very interesting. Even by Chosen standards, really.]

I've been trying to do just that.

I even managed to get a job doing one of my favorite hobbies. It's something I'm not sure I would have a chance to do back home, so I'm glad I can here. Even if it's only for a little while.

Ohhh, doing something based on a hobby? I'm doing that as well. I mean why not do what you are good at... or at least decent at anyway.

[She smiled happily.]

What is your hobby then?

Photography.

What's yours?

Dressmaking, painting and various arts and crafts.

[Those were the three hobbies she was using anyway.]

I teach arts and crafts part time and I do commissions on painting and clothes.

Oh! That sounds like a lot of fun.

[She thought of Sora, who had been getting more and more into sewing lately. A surprise deviation from the interests of her younger years, yet one that still somehow suited her.]

You must be a very creative person.

I like to think I am. I mean back home I had literally painted all the walls of my tower.

[She was not kidding, there was no room left with how much she painted.]

But arts and crafts is always fun if you find the right thing for you anyway.

[Her brows rose slightly, impressed. Hikari's own room wasn't particularly big, but she couldn't imagine the time it would take to paint it, especially if it involved actual designs and the like. And a 'tower', she suspected, would be much larger.]

That must have taken you a long time to do.

It did. Many years actually. But whenever I got inspired I painted on the wall.

[Which was quite often really. Up until before she came here she had one spot left which she already used. Now she thought about it, she wondered what would have happened if she had continued. Would she have had to paint over something? It was not something she wanted to think about much. Here it was different after all.]

But it was always fun to do never the less.

Do you paint the wall of your room here too?

I do, but if I move I will paint over them of course.

Oh, of course.

[That made sense. Even if the next tennants didn't mind, she knew that the landlords would probably ask it of her, so that everything was "fresh" and clean-looking.]

I probably wouldn't mind if I were given a room that you painted, though. I'm sure it must look so lovely.

For me they are, but I've never really shown people what a room like that would look like.

[Because she had no reason to really.]

But maybe someday.

You could take a picture of it?

[Because of course that would be her first thought.]

Not only would you be able to show people your work without having to bring them to your room directly...but then you'll always have it to remember if you ever do have to paint over it in the future.

Ah, that's right pictures...I still haven't used a...camera before, so I would have never of thought of it.

[She just pains things instead of taking pictures.]

But I would still feel bad for painting on a wall that isn't mine.

[The thought of never using a camera...there was always that momentary rush of pre-surprise, before she remembered herself. Of course people from other worlds wouldn't have access to a piece of technology that was such a big part of her life. And just because they had been in Genessia for any duration of time didn't mean they all had encountered the photography studio.]

Would you like to?

[Try using a camera, that is.]

Would I like to... [She trailed off for a moment. It would be something new which would be nice and fun really.]

I would love to learn a new skill.

[That's the spirit.]

[From what she remembered from exploring she was sure she went passed it at least once.]
