Getting Lost (and maybe found?) [Action/Video]
Who: Yuna and EVERYONE
What: Yuna wakes up in Genessia!
When: RIGHT THE HECK NOW.
[Action]
There's somewhat of a strange sensation that comes over Yuna as she opens her eyes. Weird, this isn't her bed. It isn't even her house. Is this even Sanshu at all?
Looks like someone left a gift for her, though. How thoughtful!
"...Hey, what's with the weird metal closet? D-did someone prank me or something? Togo-san? Sono-chan? Karin-chan! Fuu-senpai!? Oh no...what if I'm kidnapped by some bad guys or something!"
Eventually, the redhead dislodges herself from the pod and looks over the materials left with her rude awakening with a curious gaze. No bad guys in sight! A lot of the information provided by the introductory materials - and that weird hologram presentation - kinda confuses her. But if she's here, her friends have to be somewhere, right? Right...?
And at least the people who gave her this weird phone thing didn't take her other phone. She couldn't be a Hero without that!
Her confusion replaced by determination to ask people about what happened to everybody, Yuna heads out of the Bay and into Genessia proper. Somebody will likely find her hanging around, asking people tons of questions and generally chatting up anyone she can find! Poor thing.
After some time of wandering about aimlessly as gathering information, a redheaded schoolgirl shows up on the 'all comms' channel, fumbling with her communicator in one hand and a reasonably modern cellphone in the other...
"I don't get it, why do they have to give us two phones...is this thing even working--"
"Ahah...l-looks like it's been recording all along, huh? So it's this button and not the other one? Okay then!" She takes another look at the device, examining up and down. Once she seems to have figured it out, she takes a deep breath and declares with great confidence in her small voice...
"Hello Genessians! Or...well, whatever you guys call yourselves! My name's Yuna from Sanshu Middle School's Hero Club, where our business is helping people however we can. Seems like I'm pretty far from home, though, aren't I? I've been asking everyone and they've been telling me I've been 'taken' from home and brought here." She frowns a little as she's reminded of that feeling of separation.
"I really miss my friends, y'know. But I hope I can see them all again...But that's okay! I'll try not to give up!" she adds with another cheerful grin replacing that unpleasant look. "...Okay, okay. I'm a bit scared, yeah, but I hope I can do something to help you guys out. As a representative of the Hero Club, I mean!"
She adjusts the camera to show a view across the Bay area as she offers another little winning smile.
"If you wanna talk to me in person, I'm game, but I've never really done something like this before, infront of so many people. So, let's get to the first part of any good conversation! How's everybody doing, today?"

That's right, sometimes some of our friends from home show up. [ Or leave. He's... gotten used to having All Might around. Still, he manages a smile. ]
I'm Izuku, a hero in training.

One to one hundred in a single go. The red-headed heroine seems pretty peppy, despite being worried about her friends. This whole 'hero-in-training' thing gets her interested. But she's not mentioning her main-gig as another sort of 'hero' unless this guy turns out to be something more than his looks.
"Nice to meet you though, Izuku-san! If Sono-chan was here, she'd give you some nickname like Izucchi or something. Or Izucchini." She can't help but snicker a little at the thought of it. "But you said you were 'in training', though? You mean like...someone's teaching you? That sounds pretty awesome, I'd love to hear more!"
no subject
This girl is a bit like Mina that way.
"Um, 'Deku' would be better? But yes, someone is! Was. This place sent him home."
no subject
"Whatever works for you, Deku! That's a nice nickname."
Yuna adds, with a bit of sympathy for the boy... "Sorry to hear about your mentor going away, though. I guess they had some stuff to do back home that they had to do. I don't think it'll be that easy for me to go back to Sanshu, though. But I'm not giving up just because I'm stuck here and neither should you."
But her curiosity latches onto the boy's talk of strange abilities... "You were saying, though? People are born with powers over there? That must be pretty interesting stuff! If you have super-strength, you can probably help a lot of people like that, so that's great!" She's straight to the point, after all.
"So do you...end fighting all kinds of bad guys and lifting a lot of heavy stuff, just like in the movies?" Yuna seems like she'd be pleased enough with that answer. This boy just told her all she needed to know.
"I'm really excited, y'know! I'm...well, I'm pretty strong, myself! I wouldn't say 'super' but I can pack a punch when I have to." The phone shifts as she tries to look determined and serious.
"If I wasn't, I wouldn't be a Hero."
The way she says 'Hero' is slightly different, almost a change in tone entirely. She's proud of it, to be sure!

"About 80% of the population. A quirk can take any form, though... I was lucky." That's pretty much the truth there. Still! There is much curiosity, and he's the hero fanboy of his world! "Yeah. Only... a little sooner than we usually do, I'm still a first year."
"What are Heroes like where you're from? Do they have quirks too? How many villains are around?"
He's glad she's cheerful, for she'll have to start from scratch with that whole "friend" business like everyone else. Stay strong, o plucky heroine~

Among other things, of course. Yuna's been through a lot, though she doesn't show it. A young girl like her normally wouldn't be so familiar with the feeling of hanging onto hope and not giving up - most her age wouldn't. But she understands the feeling all too well, though.
"You wanna know about where I come from? Good thing there doesn't seem to be any Taisha around here, otherwise I'd get in trouble for talking so much about this stuff." She fiddles with the Genessian phone a little, while holding her other phone awkwardly in her hand.
"How do I put this? Well...I wouldn't say we have villains around. Sanshu's under the protection of the Shinju-sama, a powerful godlike...thing. It's a huge deal. And once in a while, creatures called Vertexes show up and try to destroy it. They're huge and terrible and tend to tear up the place when they make an entrance..." She extends her arms a bit to suggest that some of them are probably massive. Or she's being strange and waving her arms about.
"That's where the people chosen by the Shinju-sama, the Heroes, come in! Their job is to fight against them and win! Otherwise, I guess you can figure what happens next." She pauses a bit... "I guess all that's supposed to be a secret to all the normal people living their lives in town, y'know. Ehehe...~"
Re: [Video]
Yuna's all smiles to the strange man greeting her. He seems like a pretty nice guy, all things considered.
"It won't do me any good to get worried about things, right now, is what I mean. I hope my friends show up here sometime soon! Or that I can go back home and see them again. They must be really worried about me. Do you have people like that, where you're from?"
no subject
"Vertexes?" Oh, not need to imagine. Some villains are lick that, out only to destroy. The intelligent ones, though, can be far more dangerous...
"That sounds so cool, though! I bet you've saved lots of people!" She's still younger than him, which he's trying not to think about too much. "Even if you're young..."
Re: [Video]
Ted, so long as nothing happens to be bothering him at the moment, is the definition of nice. But if wickedness rears its ugly head...
"Aheh, certainly. God only knows what my parents would think. I imagine they'd either be thrilled or having hives. Only children bear the burden of their parents' undivided anxiety. Well, don't be too much in a hurry to leave, eh? This world may be grasping at us straws, but destiny might have other designs. Besides, there are lovely people--some of which one might befriend--whom you couldn't meet elsewhere."
no subject
"Well, probably! I hope so! But since it's more of a secret thing, it isn't like we get a hero's welcome from the average folks! So I guess my friends and I have saved plenty of people many times over. I'm not gonna brag about it, though. It's what we have to do to keep everybody safe."
She's pretty resolute in her ideals, at least. She leans into the phone with those curious red eyes, hungry to keep nattering at him for a while longer.
"The Taisha are pretty strict on some things, though. They're like...priests working for the Shinju-sama, so they're a bit weird about rules. Though really, we barely see them unless there's a big deal. If everyone and their dog could get a license or something to use the Hero System, it'd probably be too big for those guys to manage, I guess?"
She points to her original phone. "Hopefully, it'll still work over here, if I run into any trouble! And if I can't, I guess this place has cops looking out for us..."
Re: [Video]
"I'm not planning to leave, just yet. As long as I'm around, I'm hoping I can make plenty of friends and help them all out however I can! So I'm sure you're right - there's lovely people absolutely everywhere, if you know where to look, and there's always someone who needs a helping hand, y'know!"
Re: [Video]
"Haha, glad to hear that too! Yes, you've the right of it. Grow where you're planted, play the hand one's dealt, and all the other pithy epigrams.
Well, is there any help you need at present? It's a common inconvenience for those fresh from The Bay. Actually, now that I look at you, you may be youthful enough to room at the K&H Children's Home."
He'll read through her network posts later and go through his stressful routine of wondering why on earth Japan needs so many adolescent saviors.
Re: [Video]
Yuna doesn't seem daunted by from her separation, still. All the while, however, it seems she's trying to make the best of things.
"You seem like a pretty smart guy, I can tell you've been around the block a few times in this place. So if there's anything I can help out with, just give me a call! Even if I think it's better to do something for its own sake, I'm sure there's some way of getting by, right? I appreciate the suggestions, though! I'll go and check it out as soon as I can!"
Errands to run, small jobs to do, anything to earn her keep if she has to! Though, stopping by that place the man mentions might be a good idea. Seems like a good place to start helping people out. But first...
"Say, you know anywhere where I can get Udon? Or..." She laughs a little as her stomach growls, audibly. "Um...yeah~, I didn't exactly pack a lunch on the way here, y'know! I guess I can spend a little of that weird money I got on a meal and I'll see what my options are...I think better on a full stomach."
Behind her head, there's a little cow-like creature that's crawled on her head. And it starts chewing on her ponytail, the brazen thing.
"...G-gah, Gyuki, no! I-I'll feed you when I figure out what's good for us both! J-Jeez!"
Re: [Video]
"Conscientious about contributing, eh? Admirable trait. Well, just remember to follow the green line on your map to take you there. As for Udon...I think the Amagi Inn serves oriental dishes like that. And if you prefer to stay there, they offer discounts for novices. Very close by, too. I'll ping it on your phone."
There goes that ping. He's a little iffy about asking for help from teenage girls, necessary or no. Not chivalrous, or something. Another link goes to her phone.
"This can give job recommendations, if you insist on employment so early."

I have never heard of a Hero Club~. How very exciting, indeed.
Re: video
She smiles widely at the girl over the video feed, her happy grin practically ear to ear. "Hero Club's super exciting! We help people with all sorts of things! Back home, we'd read to kindergartners and put on little skits and school, find people's lost pets, sell tasty treats to our friends...plenty of great things that'd put a smile on anyone's face! Because that's our job."
"Looks like you've got a nice one on your face, already. Eheh~..." She leans in a bit closer and adds... "I'm kinda curious... Are you new here, too? Where do you come from? Do you have plenty of friends, back home?"
no subject
[The thought of her friends comes with a pang of loneliess, but Rika pushes by it.]
I have been here for a while now, actually. But I am moving! I want a nicer place, with more room to roll out a futon.
no subject
"I guess that's exciting in its own way, right?" Yuna adds, a little curious about the whole 'moving house' situation... "Moving...and not even enough room for a futon, huh? Must be pretty cramped. I might have to look for a place for myself, soon enough. But it won't be the same without Togo-san next door and all my other friends."
Yuna seems to share a feeling of lonliness and homesickness, at least. She tries to soldier on, as she can. Her friends were everything to her, basically the whole world. To say it'd be an adjustment is an understatement.
Her voice taking on a bit of a hushed tone, as if trying to make herself seem a bit more serious... "Hey, Rika-chan. D'you think it's a bit scary, going to a new place all on your own?" Rika looked younger than her, though it's hard to tell with some girls, could be a late-bloomer. "I've got it! How about I come with you and help you out, and you can show me around all the places you know! Maybe we can find somewhere we both like! How 'bout it!"
no subject
I have been living alone since I was eight years old. My parents died and left me the house... So I lived in it. [She speaks calmly. Her parents have died so many times that Rika is numb to it.] But I would appreciate help. It is lonely to look at apartments with only one pair of eyes.
no subject
"...I'm sorry for your loss. It must be difficult for you and I hope you aren't too lonely, where you are. And...if you ever feel like talking about anything else like that, I'm listening." She's like Fuu and Itsuki, except without anyone looking out for her. She tries to spin things positively, at least, so she won't get upset - though it seems like she's already made peace with it, from the way she sounds. That said, Yuna's eager to latch onto whatever help she can give... "B-But back on track, though! I'd be glad to drop by and help you out, though. Just let me know where you're looking and I'll meet you there, okay? I don't know my way around, but I've gotta start learning sometime!"
