[The video is a complete accident, actually. Uai thought he had figured out how to record videos on his device, but he's just broadcasting it publicly. And of all interesting things to show the Genessia, he has chosen the colourful birds gathered outside his apartment window. For a few minutes, Uai is humming and chirping at them from behind the camera. He even sings a few melodies and tests some lyrics, amused by how the birds seem interested.

But eventually, Uai's glitchy aura becomes visible and frightens the birds away. Still unaware that he's broadcasting, he swears and lowers the camera.]

Dammit. Now they know. [He grumbles, moving his hand carelessly in front of his video feed. Uai is testing if his glitched aura can be seen in the video, and is annoyed to see the darkness shows.] So much for having musical neighbors... At least the nice view can't run away.

[It's another weird birb quirk prompt! Except this time, Uai actually knows he's in public. He can be found periodically in each of the cities, stopping the birds with chirps and trying to converse with them. Listen: You'll lose fluency if you don't practice!

Also, he's curious to see if he can communicate with the native birds here. If he catches anyone staring, he'll get flustered and call them out.]

[Anastasia didn't say anything. She's just a classy girl wearing a simple and cute dress on a walk with her Sylveon. With a parasol. A classy girl is not complete without a classy parasol.

She was about to turn around and pretend she didn't see someone talking to birds. But she won't judge. She talks to animals too.]

[She says that less like it's the personal name of her companion, but like a species name. He tilts his head in Sylveon's direction, then shrugs it off. New species shouldn't surprise him anymore.]

[it's actual pet name is Sylvia. The girl has never been all that great with names. The Sylveon flashed a fang-filled happy smile as it fluttered its ribbon-like feelers.

So Uai lets go of his bad attitude. At least, as much as he can. Glitching earlier today has left him feeling incomplete and irritated.]

Yeah, so what? [He averts his gaze, ashamed to have snapped.] Err... I mean. Yeah. They don't want to get close to me today, though.

[He assumes that his broken aura must bother birds. That, or he's just really unlucky today.]

[He's embarrassed to realize he was seen with a bird on his finger, like some sort of Disney Princess.]

Y, yeah... They're kind of timid. Not all of the birds here really like me either.

I love bunnies too. They're my favourite.
Though, I love all small, furry animals. Except skunks and possums.

Nothing to be ashamed of. My lover is too. So even though they're cute, I could never have an actual cat. You seem to handle Slyveon just fine, though. I thought she was a new cat breed at first.

[Uai drops to his knees, so that he's more on Slyvia's level. It's rude to look down on someone, after all.]

[When Uai kneels down, the Sylveon carefully trots closer to try to sniff him.

Be careful, Uai. She's been known to tickle, pounce and kiss.]

So they're like us then. [He's watching her carefully. Uai doesn't tell anyone that touching him is dangerous: He just uses his quick reflexes to prevent accidents. Touching him can leave physical burns, or even knock people unconscious.
