1 Oath / Action, Video + Broccoli Bounty
[Having put it off for quite a while as he wanted desperately to convince himself that he wanted to relax; Enno took up the newspaper, and went in to claim the bounty for the rather strange case of one "Broccoli"; a health fanatic that wanted people to be fresh to death it seemed.
However, he was laughably unprepared to the naked eye as he diligently did his detective work around Nova City with little more than leather jacket and jeans. If one ignored the small satellite that never left his person, resembling a futuristic barstool with a mono-eye styled sensor. Given his primitive means, it took a solid two days of pounding the streets until he found a much more run-down building in the edges of Nova City, perhaps some arbitrary old district. The details mattered little to the knight as he walked in expecting trouble immediately; he had done little to cover the fact that he was looking for someone and had hoped this might spur the man into a challenge of sorts.
Instead he found little more than a hastily vacated apartment, the opposite had been true in this case. It was here that the barstool finally kept it's keep, as they shared a wireless connection thanks to the small port that had been installed on the back of Enno's neck. A necessary upgrade after he had left planet-side where he came from to travel his Binary Star System, all to keep Azure safe, or so he told himself.
The link kept the two in constant, albeit silent contact unless Enno wished to change that. He picked this moment to as the unsettling quiet of the apartment had him consider a trap, and they might be bolder if the assumption he was alone had been made.]
Scan commence: Proceed?
Proceed, Deva.
Acknowledged; scanning.
[Now it was time to wait, the little Partner Machine knew to be professional on the surface, but they had spent the past months bickering constantly as there was a real need to learn more about their current setting, and Enno had wanted a little to do with it all as he could, content to throw himself into his job of actually maintaining some plant life.]
Results; pathway found.
[Turning to stare at the barstool now, as he liked to jokingly call the machine, Enno motioned for it to continue.]
Pathway found.
[Snorting in frustration, Enno cleared his throat.] Please, Deva, show me the path. [The machine started hovering over to the door, waiting for Enno to start moving before it continued on at a leisurely pace. This the knight hated as he felt that machines never did have a sense of urgency; their calculations and thoughts took milliseconds, so why would they ever need to hurry? They also did little in the way of sharing their insights, which left him often feeling like he was either being lead along or deliberately held up to his disadvantage.
Neither happened today thankfully as the little machine stopped before a different door in the apartment complex, and Enno had not considered such a small move of location; it would have thrown him off completely, but in hindsight it was brilliant. Moving aside so he could open the door, Enno instead knocked and immediately moved back out from in front of the door.] Special Delivery. [His answer was something firing through the door and embedding into the wall; a sweet potato. At this, Enno paused to stare. He had heard, read, and saw the damage several times, but even now as he was looking at the offending vegetable; who would use this for a weapon? The door swung open, disrupting Enno's incredulousness of the situation. Broccoli stepped out, along with two more, armed with similar weapons.]
You're not much of a delivery boy.
[With a sneer, all three leveled their weapons on Enno while Broccoli reloaded.] Deulnelian greetings take a special touch. [As he said this, he flicked his wrist. He might have brought either of his swords, his armor, or his sidearm, but he had brought knives, as he had been trained to kill from early on. A throwing knife appeared in his hand abruptly, and he threw it over to Broccoli's left. It landed in the thigh of the man on that side, who fired a wild shot before gripping his leg. A carrot almost caught Enno in the eye for a short end to his adventure, but the knight rolled towards the men, another throwing knife appearing in his hand as he did to take a swipe at Broccoli, the leader. However, he apparently eluded capture so far by being more clever than his cohorts, and had backed away immediately. Which left Enno with few options as he had only downed one man, and two had their weapons on him.] Put down the knife, or you'll have a lot fiber in your diet. [Nodding, he held out his hand and let the knife clatter to the ground.]
On second thought, I may need to do it anyway. People these days don't eat healthily enough.
You did not let me finish my greeting, it's customary in my country.
[As he spoke, Enno suddenly concentrated, and a warning went off in his head, courtesy of Deva. He ignored it and abruptly made a clawing upwards motion of his arm. As the two fired, the brickwork of the building came to life, stretching into spikes to shred the ammo, as well as give Enno breathing room. He stood up with a grin before wincing and grabbing his arm. Still, they were not finished yet. He held up his hand again, and the brickwork again heeded his beckoning, crumbling away to let him see the two men as he rushed forward, barreling into both with more strength that the average human as he flung the lackey down the hall. Broccoli he held up, staring the man down.]
Alright. You got me. I guess you husked the corn. [There was a snort of annoyance from the knight thanks to the pun. Setting Broccoli down again, he shoved the man to make him start down the stairs. All went well till they reached the bottom, whereupon the man had hidden one last launcher, making a dive for it and catching Enno in the shoulder before he sprinted down the street. Gripping his shoulder, Enno took a deep breath before dipping his hand into the sidewalk as easily as water, making a motion that several feet away allowed a section of the walkway to tilt sharply, flinging Broccoli into the nearby building.
It was here that Enno apparently lost the magic lottery as he grunted in agony, pulling his hand free before his concentration broke and he curled on his side, trying to not vomit from the pain as ivory spikes bloomed from his arm, sending crimson spray around him. He was now going to have a bad time of it as Deva began listing off status abnormalities regarding his condition. The knight opted to ignore these as he carefully shrugged off his jacket, and carefully pulled some wraps from it. The bleeding would stop fast as he had a lot of clotting thanks to the iron in his blood pooling around where the spike emerged. His biggest issue was going to be how to get rid of the spikes without causing more. That was for later though as he wrapped his arm quickly before retrieving the unconscious Broccoli. Which might be enough money to cover his medical bills once he turned in that bounty. Or at least the cost of a new jacket.]
Action: Fayren, Genessia
[Today, Enno is recuperating well. He missed just one day of work and was back at it, though in a greatly reduced capacity as his right arm isn't the most useful for now. The spikes are gone, and he just has a heavily wrapped wright now as he goes through his day at the greenhouse, making sure the planets are well, planting new ones, checking the temperatures, moisture level for certain plants in certain houses, and of course digging out a small garden for people off to the side.
Later, he could be seen going to the library, and hanging around Genessia General while he mulled over whether he wanted to be seen by one of the healers. He has a nice new jacket though, so that's cool. Hopefully he isn't suspicious.]

[He'd be a little less succinct if he wasn't in pain, but right now he opts to be practical.]
Does anyone have a good recommendation for part-time work? I am skilled as a smith, have had military training, and am quite good with a sword, in my opinion.
