[It was the early morning when this little lady decided to hop on the network. Her blue eyes reveal her to be in a relatively good mood.]

Good morning, everyone.
I had a dream the other night that gave me an idea regarding my magic, so I'm going to be in Fayren today to experiment. I welcome anyone who can help me with it.

[Anastasia was in a large clearing in the Fayren woods. Right around the same clearing that Arro Caine brought to for magic demonstrations, however, none of the training dummies remained. Which is fine, because the young lady doesn't need them. Dressed cute, comfortably and light, Anastasia stood in the middle of the clearing, carefully and slowly gathering magical ribbons of mana, weaving them together in ghostly globes. This globe was an icy blue. It was hard on her, stressful. Her eyes rarely blinked as her focus was like a needle's point.

Once the small globe appeared stable, Anastasia began to twirl her finger of one hand to gather a faintly dirty mana ribbon, then attempted to weave it into the globe. Her mana weaving remained precise as she carefully "sewed" the Earth-element ribbon into the Ice-element globe until nothing left of the ribbon remained. But anyone else watching her could see the new elemental hybrid globe looked as though it was beginning to unravel. Whispy ribbons of mana snapped from the globe and fall off. The young girl desperately tried to weave it back together, but it was clear her youth and inexperience resulted in a panic as the globe destabilized further.

Anastasia pushed the globe away from her and ducked away, covering her eyes with her hands as it exploded into a cluster of eartern spears caked in permafrost that was as tall as she was. The resulting failure also got her pelted with snow and dirt all across her left side and back. She opened her eyes a few moments later to see someone was there. Did they come as a friend? Or to tell her she's grounded?]

Um... Hello there? ...Am I in trouble?

[ Well, that sure sounded like an explosion from nearby. The hell was that, even? Was it Yang fighting someone?

Well. Whatever it was, she went to investigate and found, well... this little lady. ]

Um, was this you? [ She's... kind of impressed? ]

[Anastasia rummaging through a bunny-print tote bag when a familiar face appeared and stopped for a moment. She looked to the cluster then to her. She laced her fingers together in front of her in embarassment.]

...yes... Yes, it was me. I-it was an accident, I assure you.

[At least no damage to people or property occurred.]

Quite the display of power. That should prove useful in battle. Any threat should think twice!

[ Indeed no, this was somewhere far from anyone or anything other than trees... And a few birds who just got quite the scare. ]

Wha-?

[Anastasia gazed down at the ground.]

Oh, no. I wasn't...trying to create new destruction magic.

Hmm? [ Remilia raised one light blue eyebrow at the young girl. ]

If I may, what was your intention here this day?

I had a dream.

[She raised a hand and slowly twirled her finger in a circle, creating a whispy ribbon of mana to follow it.]

It gave me an idea to try weaving mana of two different elements together to create something new. Perhaps even gain access to more beneficial forms of magic.

That sounds like something Patchy does... almost. And like her own experiments do sometimes, it exploded.

[ There's a small, sad smile. She misses the grumpy bookworm. ]

You say that, but even destruction can be beneficial. I'm certain any villain would think twice if faced with... [ She gestures at the mess. ] ...this.

[Anastasia idly gathered her long, blonde hair over her shoulder, stroking it gently. It needs a wash from that dirt she got pelted with.]

That may be, but there are so many other people who are strong. They won't let me help...

[Who would even allow a child like her to face off against possible death anyway? It doesn't help that it takes a long time for her to cast, even for elements she's blessed with.]

What's a few years... Oh, right, that is a long time to mortals.

[ She's made quite a mess of herself. Unbecoming of a princess, really. ]

Children so often cause people to be so overprotective and underestimate them... I've known children who were capable of slaying a vampire.

[She's trying. The dirt makes her uncomfortable. She goes back to her bunny tote bag to fetch a pink brush to proceed brushing the dirt out of her hair.

Anastasia slightly winced at the mention of time. Years? She may as well have an unending supply of them so long as she has these extra pieces of power.]

Indeed... It made me feel useless to people. I do not know how I can prove myself if I am never given a chance.

[ Remilia could call Sakuya to bring her fresh clothing, if asked... She likes the girl well enough. As for age... Well, she was 514 now. ]

Well I for one have seen some of what you can do.

[Anastasia couldn't pester anyone like that. Asking for clothes was asking too much in her opinion. Meanwhile, she brushed out as much from her hair as she could and flipped her hair back over.]

Indeed... Few have. If I can learn new magic for self-defense, I think that will make my guardians happy, at least.

Ah, if only Patchy were still here... She could teach you many spells.

[That name sounds awfully familiar. Anastasia will remain quiet and let Remilia explain.]

It's a nickname. It's short for Patchouli... She's my best friend back home.

[ Funny how things turn out. It's like the invisible hand of fate led to this... ]

Oh...! I knew Patchouli as well. I tried to learn from her, but...
Even with her help, something was still blocking me from learning new magics...

It's odd... She got sent home, and a short while later, came back with no memory of this place, then later on got sent home again.

If she were able to stay longer, perhaps she may had found a way to help you.

[Anastasia has been less open to reaching out to Genessia for help anymore. Constantly being met with silence gets to someone after awhile.]

Sometimes, I think...

[She caught herself and shook her head. Saying too much will lead to complicated explanations and problems.]

Hmm, what is it?

[ Too late, Remilia's curiosity is piqued. ]

[Again, Anastasia shakes her head. It really is too much to explain. She gently rubs her arm nervously.]

Really, it's nothing. Sometimes I have these... silly thoughts that don't help anyone.

[Such a stubborn girl.]

[Anastasia was quiet for a while, a hand still on her arm. It's not like she was given any reason not to trust Remilia.]
