[ The video feed kicks on to a man in an mask and visor. His attention focuses on the screen (as much as can be guessed by his attire) before raising his head to look at something off screen. It's probably obvious that he is is just pushing buttons on the phone to learn how it works. ]

Should of known someone somewhere would of picked up my trail... Genessia. That's new. [ Well, two people had picked up his trail, but he expected those ghosts.

Not being kidnapped. ]

Time to find some answers. Can't be that hard in a city that gives out jewelry to everyone they kidnap.

There should be a hologram just outside the area you awoke that contains a good base of information.

[Mercy just happened to be coming home from work when he emerged from the Bay. She's not hard to miss. She's still wearing her lab coat (because she forgot to take it off), but guess who else isn't hard to miss. She easily noticed the soldier trying to work on how to use the phone. Obviously he's new, but more than that, she recognizes that apparel from the papers and articles back home.

So... she's just going to... go over to him to help him out while figuring out what's going down.]

Just because it isn't the war he's been fighting doesn't mean there isn't some kind of war going on in Genessia. There's always a war.

Soldier: 76 looks up the moment the familiar voice hits his ears. Thankfully his mask hides his absolute shock. He's either going insane, or, this Genessia enjoys taking former Overwatch agents. Ones that he knew too well. Ones that think he's dead. He pockets the device and folds his arms across his chest. ]

Say that to the fact they handed me a necklace that'll get me from place to place.

Should be enough to keep the illusion that Jack Morrison is dead. ]

There's always a way out. Just maybe not the way most people think of.

Nothing will ever have all the answers. But as I said, it is a good base of information to work from. Thus far I can confirm a majority of it to be accurate.

How about we start with what you know? Anything dangerous in this place? Heroes that think they can make the cut? Rumors of shady organizations?

[ Soldier: 76 simply thinks it isn't the whole story. Sure, the hologram probably told him everything they know. Or knew. Or, maybe they are hiding something else. Whatever the reasons? There's always something else going on.

That, or he is just that jaded in actually believing things at face value at this point. ]

I am still quite new to this world myself but I have learned of a few things.

Thus far the most dangerous city I have been to is Fayren. It is also the city I have spent the most time in as it most closely resembles my world. If you are from a modern version of Earth it is most reminiscent to something from the high fantasy genre of fiction and the creatures inhabiting it are similar.

Petty crime seems to be common in all of the cities.

Any being without a necklace is native to their respective cities. Those of us with necklaces have been effectively kidnapped.

From what I have gathered a grand majority of inhabitants seem to be humans from some variant of Earth. There is also a large number of children among those of us kidnapped.

There is a police force in the form of what are called 'Guardians' stationed in each city. I have yet to observe any 'heroes' or heroic behaviours, nor any shady groups or organizations.

We can't. As far as I know, no physical being brought us here. We have no idea what exactly took us in the first place.

Answers are less common than you might think; the so called jewelry of which you are referring to is essential for intercity travel. To whom or whatever it is confining us here supplying us answers seems to serve no purpose.

That said, I may be of assistance.I am a member of the Genessia Scientific Research Foundation. While I cannot yet provide all of the answers, I do contain some of the knowledge you may be seeking. What is it that you wish to know?
