MAYbe this Catch-All will be Better
WHEN: Anytime in May
WHAT: Exploring, Prom shopping, various adventures
WHO: Katara and YOU
WHY: Because!
[A: ACTION: Prom dress shopping (anywhere)]
[Katara isn’t even used to the ‘normal’ fashion in Genessia, let alone formal wear. She’s still not entirely sure what ‘prom’ itself is, but it sounds fun, and with nothing but work to keep her otherwise truly occupied these days, she’s definitely not going to stay home.
So here she is, standing in the middle of a shop, eyes sparkling but hesitation keeping her feet in place. It’s been a while since she’s dolled up for anything. Help her out?]
[B: ACTION: Water bending (the ocean)]
[As usual, Katara can be found in the late afternoon or early morning down by the shore, pushing and pulling the waves into the air in fantastic shapes and swirls as she hones her water bending talents. The weather is warmer now, to her delight. It’s the perfect way to wind down for the evening or clear her head before she heads to work or around town for errands. She’s sometimes even brave enough to dive into the water herself, though… it’s still a bit chilly…
It’s even humorous, at times, whenever her Oshawott decides to ride one of her tricks and finds itself suddenly above the ocean’s surface. Even funnier when she’s able to surprise her easy going Lapras with the same tricks. Who knew water types could fly?]
[C: ACTION: Fayern, Ivory Tower, Walking home from work]
[Despite working far later than she had expected to today, Katara’s in fairly high spirits as she leaves for the day, if a little tired. She’s learning quite a lot at her new job; not only is she able to heal those she’s assigned to with her water bending, but now she’s properly being taught traditional medicines as well. It’s exciting, but… she’s definitely walking a little slower than usual as she heads home alone, despite the darkness and the clouds threatening to burst.
That in itself is a bit thrilling, though.
She’s got her waterskin at her hip. She’ll be safe enough, right?]
[D: ACTION: Exploring (Nova City/Everglades)]
[While she’s been in Genessia long enough to have settled in fairly well, it’s pretty obvious that she hasn’t explored much beyond Faryren and the main city. When she does finally decide to get out and take a look around, she’s very much out of place.
She can’t help but gape at some of the things she sees around Nova City. There’s no technology in her world that can even compare just yet, and it’s all but blowing her mind. Curious as always, she might be caught staring at one thing or another, more than likely confused. Is the ground moving under her feet??? What are these metal things that keep trying to talk to her? What the heck is a hover-car?
During her time in the Everglades, however, she’s just doing her best to fight off the chill that seems to come with the area. Is it just her, or is it… sort of creepy here? It’s starting to get dark… maybe she should start heading home… ]
[Prom-posal (closed to Zuko)]
[He’s probably used to her coming home late by now, with their strange work schedules, but it might be odd when she disappears without a trace one morning on one of her days off instead of sticking around to make breakfast and tidy up the cabin.
….and she’s gone for hours, and doesn’t seem to want to answer her phone for whatever reason.
When she does finally return in the evening, its with a long garment bag carefully laid over her shoulder, so as not to trail the ground as she carries it in, and a few bags in her hands the shuffle as she opens the door. More shopping? Yep. And food, from the looks of it.]
Hey, Zuko! I brought dinner! [She seems to be in a good mood, if her announcement is anything to go by.]
