Naturally Zelman saw this as an opportunity to make things worse instead of better. With all these fools running around with their hero complexes, he imagined the man responsible would be heavily outnumbered. Not that the vampire was particularly villainous in nature, antagonistic at best, he did get deathly bored. This was the first real trouble that has happened since he arrived here. It only made sense to take advantage of it while it was happening.

Of course his little chaos was more subtle than the bang of the show. The once esteemed vampire of his world was gradually adding more fire onto the town as he strolled by ever so casually. He noticed several were combatting against it, and decided he would make it worse by igniting small fires here and there. As to whether he would actually kill someone was still debatable. In the meantime, Zelman saw to it that the fire remained burning.
