"That's not happening. I don't want to see anyone hurt anymore. If I can help anyone, it's fine."

It's not like death here had much of a meaning anymore. Ishtar knew that from experience. At least, in facility more than anything. Ishtar was a stubborn person. While she knows she hurts people she loves, she still sacrifices herself for them, even if they'll hate her for it.

"Damn it Duzie let me go!"

Ishtar snapped back at him, when he didn't let her go, "I--it's way to damn late for this crap!"

She's already scarred, broken, marred. Did it matter?

She was already panicking, because she didn't know what would happen. It was hard to stick to him forever. He had his own way to go and somehow it felt like he was leaving further and further away.
