*Being on the one planet for more than one year has Faye irritable and restless. So off to the shooting range she goes, spending a bit more time there than usual. Besides, she doesn't seem happy with uer usual weapons, instead trying her hand at anything bigger, better, louder*

*As for attempting to feel less restless, trying to unwind and feel more normal, Faye can frequently be found in various bars. She'll be the girl in a corner booth smoking, or else being harrassed by various men at bars and trying to get rid of them with as little violence as she can manage*

[It was Shota's day off, so he was in civilian mode. This time he didn't look like a scrub, his hair was tied back and he wore a polo shirt, he looked decent.

He was at the shooting range as well, practicing with a handgun. Then he saw the woman he met a while ago, unimpressed. He loomed behind her while she was distracted with the noise and focus. Whenever she was done and the noise ceased, he finally spoke.]

Hey.

You won't hit anyone doing that.

*He wasn't lying. There were bullet shells all over the place and just a couple of holes dotted here and there in her target. Faye rolls her eyes before turning to see that guy she had spoken to before. Oh great. Though he did look pretty good compared to last time*

Well obviously not. If I wanted target practice I would use my pistols. ...but this is much more fun.

[There's this one girl at the shooting range too, that can't be much older than 18, hair tied in a ponytail and wearing a cute school uniform...

Who's just happily shooting at a target with a handgun with some scary accuracy.

She spots the older woman a few feet away, and waves at her.]

Nice day for target practice, hm? [She might be a little too cheerful about this.]

*Faye had noticed the younger girl before, thinking that she seemed quite out of place. As for her skill, that was interesting, but Faye knows better than to judge or be surprised by looks*

*Yeah, Faye is definitely not as cheerful*

[So much blank stares before he let out a sigh. He stepped closer and helped Faye adjusted the weapon she was currently holding, correct poster and all. What was comfort zone?]

Relax your shoulders, keep this poster. Aim like this. It's important to concentrate, even under stressful situations.

*Faye just blinked at those stares, unsure what to make of them, and suddenly he was just there, right next to her, and it was her turn to blink.

Still, she is interested enough in her weapon just to go with it, so she fired just like he suggested, a much better hit*

[She tilts her head to the side, playful smile still on her lips.]

How can you not be in a good mood when shooting? It's great stress relief! [At least that's what she does with Popuko when they need to release some steam.]

[Faye wasn't the only woman at the shooting range trying out guns. Though, where she was going for bigger and badder, Rip was going through rifles and testing them out. She missed her musket and was sorely tempted to find a replacement.. eventually.

That and Rip missed the effort and tranquility that lining up the perfect shot gave her! That moment when you know you have the target within the sights and there was zero chance of them escaping... then pulling the trigger to take the perfect shot! There were very few feelings like this in the world to her!

That also meant that Rip... had a lot of bulls eyes on her targets at the range. Eventually she put the gun she had been testing out aside and glanced around. She was surprised to see someone familiar here. Well, familiar enough for Rip to say hello at least. ]

Eizher you are looking for zomething to cause some serious damage, or you're vorking on stress relief.

Maybe I haven't done enough shooting yet to get that stress relief.

*Ie, why are you bugging me, kid? Faye just rolls her eyes, then rolls her shoulders as she glances towards her target again*

*Faye narrows her eyes and glances towards her own target, bullet holes haphazardly all over it*

If I was looking to cause real damage then I wouldn't be here. I'd be put dragging in some bounty or other.

*She takes a deep breath and blows it out slowly, frowning*

Maybe that's not such a bad idea...

[Rip just raises an eyebrow at that before glancing at Faye's target and trying to hide a faint snort at how haphazard the shots were. ]

Not sure if I should be afraid for zhe bounty or for you.

*Faye blinks at her target then rolls her shoulders to get rid of the cricks in her neck*

Hmmm. Probably both to be honest.

[She thinks you are cool looking, and she doesn't know when to stop. That's why she's bothering you.]

Well, that might be one reason. But I think that's because you aren't really hitting anything that matters. [She looks at the target Faye was using to practice and, oh dear...] No vital organs? Unless you are trying to prolong the suffering, that's very inefficient.

I'm not aiming for precision right now. I'm a damn sight better shot than that - I know what I'm doing.

*Faye frowns, annoyed to think that this girl thinks she's bad at shooting*

If I was out ripping a group of bastards to smithereens then, sure, that would be much more satisfying...

*Faye smirks at him, quite pleased to hear this. So now that she has the space and is in the position he put her in, Faye fires again*

Nice. So you're a gun man, hmm?

[But he does takes guns away if he has to.]

It just made more sense to relax and get a handle with the recoil.

*Faye lays her weapon down and smirks at him*

Fufufufu, is that so? Are you some type of mercenary? [Pipimi interest seems to grow a lot.] You do know the newspaper offers bounties, right? Someone like you could make a killing from that. [She chuckles at her own pun.]

And if you ever need a partner to help you out... well, I'm here~! [She gives the older lady a very stereotypical anime cute pose.]

*Faye looks at the girl with a different type of interest - it almost seems like this stranger is complimenting her*

And yeah, I do bounties from time to time, if my interest is piqued enough.

*But she wrinkles her nose at that pose*

[At least she realized the danger she was putting herself in. Rip shakes her head slightly before going for a handgun in her little pile of weaponry.]

*Faye just stares at the other woman, incredulous. Maybe she has a good surgeon*

Zhen again, dropping bombs from a Zeppelin alzo accomplishes quite a bit of destruction as vell.
