NEWSPAPER - BIWEEKLY EDITION
[Did you subscribe to The Genessia Tribune? Did you even remotely wish you had a newspaper or some other form of media to refer to for news, weather, and current events? Then you're in luck! There's a paperboy riding through the streets of Genessia flinging newspapers onto doorsteps or, if you're unlucky, through your window. Even remote locations in the other cities will still get a paper if one of the residents ever wanted one. The Paperboy is just that dedicated.]
[And if you're one of the following people, and you happen to subscribe to the newspaper, the Paperboy may or may not have flung the newspaper through that person's window, at the person, and/or broke something in the area: Mikaela Banes, Rapunzel, Thea queen , Jack Harkness, Cassian Andor, Satou Kuroneko, Cecil Palmer, Rose Tyler, The Doctor (10th, 11th).

A Little Off The Top
A bakery in Fayren has issued an apology to any customers that they had Friday and Saturday evening. Apparently the children of the couple that owns the bakery thought it would be funny to add a potion to the mixture that their family uses. It’s a potion of hair growth. Anyone that has eaten the food that produced might suddenly experience minor to mild to major growth of their hair over the next few days.
The potion seems to hit people at different times. There have already been two reports of at least two people waking up with hair double their body length. The effects aren’t permanent and a simple haircut will fix the issue. But the owners of the bakery would still like to apologize nonetheless.
The Annonaria
Johnny Storm, the owner of Fortuna's Palace in Nova City announced earlier this week that an attached luxury hotel paired with the business will be opening up. The hotel will be called The Annonaria, though the number of floors and rooms that the hotel will have wasn't stated. Johnny said himself that he won't spare any expense in making sure the place is among the best hotels in Nova City. He said it has always been his plan to open a hotel up once the casino portion had been established.
When asked where he got the name for the hotel, he gave the follow quote.
“Oh, a friend gave me the name. She wasn’t a fan of the other names that I picked, so she gave me that one. She’s such a gem for helping me out like that.”
The Annonaria will be opening its doors for guests to stay later this month.
The Puzzle Corner is a new section in the paper that gives its readers a chance to win prizes. There will be puzzles, brainteasers or the like listed below. Answering one will net you a prize. Only one puzzle can be solved per reader. (Just comment to the paper with your answer.)
1.) After a recent spate of home improvements, four couples were having a dinner party to discuss the additions to their houses.
Alan had not recently had a new bathroom. Kara had not yet done her kitchen, but perhaps would update it next. Brian, who is married to Maud, had not had new windows. Laura delighted in showing photographs of her new conservatory. Neither Charles nor David had a new kitchen. Julie had not had new windows. Alan, who also had not had windows, is not married to Laura and Charles is not married to Kara.
Who is married to whom and what work had they recently undertaken, assuming that each couple had one improvement and no two couples had the same improvement.

2.) Three countrymen met at a cattle market. "Look here," said Hodge to Jakes, "I'll give you six of my pigs for one of your horses, and then you'll have twice as many animals here as I've got."
"If that's your way of doing business," said Durrant to Hodge, "I'll give you fourteen of my sheep for a horse, and then you'll have three times as many animals as I."
"Well, I'll go better than that," said Jakes to Durrant; "I'll give you four cows for a horse, and then you'll have six times as many animals as I've got here."
No doubt this was a very primitive way of bartering animals, but it is an interesting little puzzle to discover just how many animals Jakes, Hodge, and Durrant must have taken to the cattle market.

3.) The weather at the Cape of Good Hope makes it a notorious location where many ships have been lost to the sea. Philip Wood, the famous diver, has discovered four ships that sank in the same spot, one on top of each other.
With some skill, Philip was able to determine the name, captain, cargo, destination and year built for all of the ships. The question is, can you?
1. During his first exploration of the site, Philip determined there were four ships - the Red Rover, the ship built in 1743, the ship captained by Quigley and the ship carrying tea that was bound for North America.
2.The ship that carried a cargo of saffron was built after the ship that carried a cargo of tea.
3. An entry in one ship's log found at the site indicated that the ship built in 1522 was carrying a valuable cargo of gold.
4. One ship was carrying botanical specimens to France. Philip determined that this was not the Royal Bride.
5. The Scarlet Queen, a pirate ship, was certainly built before the nineteenth century but not as early as the sixteenth. The captain of this ship was the famous rogue Clubfoot.
6. The Wanderer was built after the Royal Bride. The Royal Bride's cargo was not tea and the Royal Bride was not travelling to the South Seas.
7. Captain Bolton's ship was built before Clubfoot's and before The Royal Bride.

Roses Are Red - A user of black magic has been using their magic to make red roses come to life and strangle people to death or slash them up with razor sharp thorns. The seem to only be targeting couples. A level 2 payment is being offered for their capture.

In The Shadows - Four men dressed in all black that exhibit martial arts abilities as well as shadow magic have been causing trouble by robbing people and breaking into homes. A level 1 payment is being offered for their capture.

Repair Man - AC units on houses are being sabotaged costing people money to get them replaced on a repaired. A level 1 payment is being offered to anyone that can capture the culprit.
