[Action/Video?] - the feel of mortal stalking still reverberates
Who: Val and whoever!
Where: Bay
When: Nighttime of the 23rd, and then morning after.
Summary: Waking up in this...place, and then figuring out how the stupid device thing works.
Warnings: Cursing, possible yelling, possible death threats, etc...?
It's been a year since that day...
The day his life was saved by that strange being with the strange abilities. While it's not necessarily a secret that he's more than grateful to the person, he's not one to openly express gratitude. His thanks had come in the form of his agreeing to assist the stranger- offering his body as a vessel to hide the being, until a later time.
Maybe if he'd thought it through a little better, he wouldn't have agreed to it. Hell, maybe then he would have considered what it really meant. Having zero privacy, for one, wasn't something he was having the best of times getting used to. It was...weird, as hell, to have the realization that he was never alone. That someone was always watching through his eyes. Good thing Val wasn't into the idea of dating...otherwise, that'd make certain things incredibly awkward.
Well, anyway, it seemed like that was the last thing he needed to be worried about...
Standing outside the caverns, he let out a sigh...and then a faint laugh. It was one that was about as far from amused as it could get. His shock of waking up in a strange, new place has lasted not even thirty seconds. After looking around and giving the items he'd awakened with a glance, he'd began a more thorough investigation. One that had involved a bit of glaring, immediately followed by the realization that there was...no way he was in Eternisa. A bit of questioning within his mind resulted in the wonderful conclusion of...
He wasn't anywhere that Kurakai recognized, either. Wonderful...
Seriously, that was absolutely something he'd always wanted to happen...
Who wouldn't want to wake up in a weird new place, right?! Vigorously rubbing his face, the brunette let out a another sigh. This time it was filled with some serious annoyance. Right, so. Standing around wouldn't get him anywhere. Shoving everything into the backpack he was carrying (like hell he was going to wear that necklace), he slung the bag onto his shoulder and began walking.

[The next day, after finding a place to live, he begins fidgeting with the videophone. Several minutes later, he manages to switch the thing over to the "Video" option. So, have a not-very-amused set of silver eyes narrowing at you, people.]
Damn it, stupid thing...That's not what I wanted to fucking do...
[Yep. That's it. That's the "hello" you fine people are getting, before the feed cuts.]
