genessia | 001: Where'd all the Hunnies Go? [Video]

[Since Zelos had arrived two days ago, he'd been keeping near to the bay and attempting to get his bearings. Waking up in a strange cocoon with no trace of his battle injuries was certainly disorientating, and although he had strong suspicions of what this place really was, he was not about to make those public. Especially not when one of the people he had already run into was a young child.

Finally, he decided to make his presence known, and thus, a redheaded man with a red jewel embedded in his chest appeared on the video feed.

Because clearly, the people of Genessia had nothing better to deal with than a bored playboy.]

So this rundown place is 'Genessia', huh? Gotta say, this wasn't exactly the kind of area I thought I'd wake up in when I went to take a nap, but it does make things a little more interesting.

[He actually hadn't been expecting to wake up at all.

After that, he pouted...and the whining began.]

But seriously~ Where's the welcoming committee? I expected to be greeted by a group of cute, doting hunnies, not just abandoned with some piece of paper~ That's so heartless!

[Rikku turned this on to welcome him, but instead all he got at first was some yelling in the background.]

[And the communicator was dropped off to the side carelessly as she chased after a small yellow rodant. Finally catching it, she returned to the communicator with the little creature wiggling in her arms slightly. At least he didn't seem to want to shock her this time. They were slowly making progress.]

Sorry about that. This place hasn't really been in a welcoming mood the past few days.

Welcome to this hellhold. Can't say it's as bad as Wonderland was, but I doubt you'll be able to get back home any time soon.

As far as some cute welcome committee, you might want to lower your standards for that.

[Although Falan didn't really have to check out the Bay, she felt that somebody should help out newcomers. With the hospital blown up, she had nothing to do aside from helping people every now and then. This time she hadn't really visited since there were people who still needed assistance every now and then, but she kept an eye out for any newcomers.]
