So if people lose their minds and enact violence after hearing the truth, your response would be more of the same? Wouldn't that spell disaster for whomever they harm? Wouldn't that be especially bad if their harm was permanent, as it so often is?

Besides, we've been through this. Yes, one is not directly responsible for others' actions. However, if they can be reasonably foreseen, one should take care not to provoke unnecessary harm.

After all, the others of actions is the whole point. See the initial post. I wouldn't be doing it simply to fulfill curiosity, but to enact change. What sort of change is likely is very, very relevant.
