[Way to crush her pride, Carver. She's honestly offended right now.]
I got, like, an A+!! One of, like, the highest in the class! And, like, my only A+ in the whole year! I, like, worked really hard on it, okay? It's not, like, made up stuff. I made interviews and, like, studies with volunteers and everything to, like, check the veracity of the original study!
Hugs are, like, great for the health!! It's science! And, like, not just for me, they are also great for humans too!
[All the pouting and frowning. How could he say that he believed her when she explained about the lemenaes but then say he couldn't believe something like hugs being good for the health? Had he actually lied when he said he believed her about the lemenaes?]
Hugs aren't, like, some miracle cure for everything, but, like, they are greatly benefitial for people... And I didn't, like, say they prevented diseases, just that stimulated the inmune system, like, precisely because through contact more diseases can be spread. The inmune system, like, realizes it and activates, working to protect the body or, like, minimize the illness. And it, like, does it better with hugs than kisses because, like, when people kiss the inmune system actually get's confused and, like, the whole body gets a huge overload of pleasure and affection.
Maybe it's not like that in your world. Maybe, like, humans in your world don't work the same as those in mine. But, like, that's not my fault, nor makes my thesis less true. Just, like, there aren't lemenaes in your world but they are in mine.
[And he said he believed her about those. And her case. But now he says he doesn't believe in hugs. That's the closest she's going to get to calling him out on that and basically question if he actually lied the first time when he said he believed her.]
