(Awakening)

[Awakening here is like a dream. But was it? Takumi doesn't recall. Everything is fuzzy. Sliding out of what he thought was a bed, his feet landing in the water with a splash was a sobering wake up call.

Where is he? What is this? Call him biased, but he can easily assume this is where Nohr creates those monsters. If that's true, he's alone. Neither Hoshidan, Nohrian or faceless. He finds his divine weapon, Fujin Yumi, and begins his search before things go to hell any faster.]

(Action - All over Genessia)

Hinata? Oboro? ... Hinoka! Sakura! ... Ryoma! Brother! Sisters! Where are you?!

[As if being dressed the way he is, he calls for the names of his retainers and siblings. He's impatient, of course.

This strange city doesn't look anything like Hoshido, nor does it fit his mental image of Nohr. Takumi can be found going around the city, scanning the surroundings, dodging metal, horseless wagons, and wondering how people can be so rude to a Prince. Sometimes, Takumi will stop somewhere away from people to shoot a wind arrow from the Fujin Yumi straight up into the air. If any of his siblings are here, they could recognize his arrows and easily find him.

Or it may attract someone a little less savory. Leave it to the hot-headed third son of Hoshido to be, well...reckless. His focus is getting back to his family, and uncover this possible Nohrian plot.]

[What an unusual sight, seeing a bolt of white shoot into the sky before dissipating entirely, like a reverse shooting star. He just had to track down the source of that.

Thence enters the clown.]

Hello, sir! By chance have you seen the source of some silvery projectile headed skyward?

[Takumi sighs. A entertainer of some sort? Noooot who he was hoping for, but at least he isn't annoyingly dark clothed.

Still, can't be too careful. Takumi isn't readying the bow, but isn't holding it away, either.]

That would be me. Who are you?

[Doesn't he know it's rude to ask for a name without giving yours first? Some prince.]

Ted, pleasure to meet you. How about a name in return, eh?

[He wasn't Hoshidan, but he would still recognize those arrows when he saw them. Spending enough time with them in the war, Xander would recognize any of the divine weapons. Walking towards where he'd seen the arrow last, he found the Hoshidan prince nearby.]

Prince Takumi?

[You know who's clearly the best person for a Hoshidan to see on waking up in a new whacky world? Clearly, a Nohrian prince. One who's surprisingly wearing something other than his armor, but he's still carrying Brynhildr. He's not paying any mind as he's in his recent routine of a trip to the library, but of course that arrow caught his attention. And, of course, he sees the source.

Of course this place brought a Hoshidan. It had to be that Hoshidan, no less. And things were going so well.]

I guess I should have suspected this would've happened eventually.

[He's not even directly addressing Takumi. He would have rathered to skip this confrontation entirely, but this guy just had to be between Attleton and the library.]

[ Those arrows look dangerous.

They look so dangerous that Yuunagi looked alert, the Umbreon practically growling at the sight while keeping close to the brunette that was her master.

Konoka, to her credit, wasn't quite so alarmed, but was curious and a bit concerned that someone firing magical arrows might cause an accident, even if they were far off from people.

Thus once she saw for certain that someone was firing arrows, she called out. ]

Hey! Excuse me~! Please be cautious when firing magical arrows like that!

[Was he supposed to give his name to someone who didn't ask? He is still unsure of this man's allegiance, so his grip tightens on Fujin Yumi.]

You're really not of Hoshido, then. I'm Takumi, second son of King Sumeragi.

[When he heard the voice, Takumi hoped it was Ryoma. But something still felt off. Turning, he finds serious bad news. Fujin Yumi comes to life, ready to go should Takumi need it.]

You... Xander.
You're behind this, aren't you?

[While Takumi scans for any of his siblings, he spots someone still recognizable. And it's one of the last people he wanted to see. But what did throw him off was the lack of that black armor Takumi came to know so prevalent on the Nohrian children.]

You!
You and your ilk are behind this, aren't you?

[A woman? Meh, unarmed so she's likely not an enemy. Still, Takumi isn't going to rule out that she's involved in this Nohrian plot.

But what is that with her? Some breed of Nohrian dog? It's hideous.]

You think me reckless? [Because you'd be correct.] Only enemies of Hoshido need to worry of my Fujin Yumi. I'm Takumi, second son of King Sumeragi of Hoshido. Who are you?

[Then he gestures to the creature with her.]

And what is that?

[It's okay, Takumi. Leo didn't want to see you either. Despite that, Leo's posture is calm and collected like usual.]

Had you paid even the slightest bit of attention to Weiss Schnee's words, you would be already aware that Nohr isn't "behind" anything. But you didn't listen to the hologram at all, did you?

That's not important!

[Clearly a no.
And a big mistake to mock a ~~hot-head~~Prince of Hoshido. A wind arrow manifests notched and ready, but not yet raising.]

Where are my brothers and sisters? Where are we?

Hoshido?

[ It sounds distinctly Japanese. Or at least, some otherworld equivalent. The fact that Takumi doesn't mistake her for one of its residents makes her wonder if he's paid attention to the introduction Weiss gave out.

Well, she does know he's a prince and he's awful rude. ]

My name's Konoka Konoe. I'm a healer. And her name is Yuunagi, [ she gestured to Umbreon, who gave zero fucks about Takumi's opinion of her. ] and she is Momo... [ She gestured to Audino, who was apparently a bit worried over the situation. ] They're both species of creatures known as Pokemon that are native here.

Here being Genessia, not Hoshido.

[Ah, there he goes, getting ready to attack already. As he figured, but he's making no move to do the same.]

Your siblings are likely back home, as I've seen no sign of them here. We, however, are in a realm known as Genessia. Had you listened to the hologram, you would have known that already.

[No wonder Weiss sounded so fed up in her message. There must be quite a few buffoons like Takumi.]

You should be thanking the forces that brought us here. They're awfully generous to bring back the dead.

[Yep, he's a wonderful bundle of sunshine and rainbows.]

Konoka, then. [Sounds refreshingly Hoshidan. That puts him in greater amount of ease, thus just a little more respectful. He's trying.
As for the Pokémon? They're cute, he guesses. Except the Umbreon. Needs more red and white.]

All right, now, how I leave here so I can get back to my siblings?

First name basis already, huh? Ah, don't worry. [ She waved off any surprise or concern from that. ]

I wish we knew. Did you not listen to the magical hologram of that woman named Weiss? [ She knew it wasn't magical, but she had to explain it to Takumi somehow. ]

[The dead? What does he mean? Nevermind the "Genessia" business, cryptic talk of the dead only frustrates Takumi further. But for now, he's holding back the urge to attack.]

Explain yourself, Nohrian! What do you mean by bringing the dead back?

[Meh. Formalities are tedious, and he doesn't find them important right this very instant. When he isn't sure he isn't a Nohrian captive, or when Ryoma reminds him, then maybe.]

Magical hologram? [What is a hologram?] Didn't see anything like that.
How can you not know how to leave a city, though? It's just finding the correct road. I just need to know which one leads back to Hoshido.

I mean exactly that. This world can bring even those who passed on back to life anew. Awfully convenient for someone who plummeted off of the Great Wall of Suzanoh.

[Had Leo just arrived himself, he'd be far less composed talking to Takumi, but he's had three weeks to learn everything he could. Bringing back the dead was interesting, if not somewhat annoying in this case.]

Now then, I have no reason to further answer to you. If you're finished pestering me, I would like to go back to my studies.

[Not that he expects to be let go so easily. He already has a plan in mind if Takumi even so much as attempts to aim that bow.]

[ Xander stops when he sees Fujin Yumi come to life. He knows that's a warning sign. He doesn't reach for Siegfried, strapped at his waist, instead, crossing his arms and keeping his hands visible. ]

No. I just woke up here, and I'm probably just as confused as you are.

[It was seeing one of those arrows that initially got Memo's attention. She is no stranger to the idea of signalling for help that way. While she knows herself to be banished, and forbidden to interact with other demons, she is still curious enough to seek the source.

As she arrives at the location and spots Takumi, the white haired demon gives her head a confused tilt.]

... Excuse me. I seek one who controls the element of wind and shoots signals skyward. Have you seen such a thing?

T-takumi?!

[She'd been shopping for something or other but she forgoes it to hurry over and grab the archer by the arm to pull him out of the way of yet another car. On the sidewalk, please.]

Goodness, I had no idea you were here!

Wha-?

[And oomph and a WTF later. Takumi was annoyed at the wagon and whoever just yanked him like a ragdoll. But then he saw who it was who yanked him and he eased up significantly.]

Azura? What is this place? Where are the others?

[He didn't listen to the hologram. That's fine. Azura shakes her head.]

Ryoma, Hinoka and Sakura aren't here. Neither is Corrin. [she doesn't mention the Nohrians, considering how her conversation with Leo went when he arrived.]

But they are fine, truly—this place is strange, but harmless. Tell me, what is the last thing you remember before awakening here?

[Can you blame him for being reckless, though?
So he's alone. While it's a chance to prove himself, he has no one to prove it to.

He grits his teeth in frustration at the latter.]

I can't remember too much. Just, in battle with Nohrian monsters. Sorry I can't tell you much.
