[As the feed clicks on, there's nothing but black on the screen. The camera is very thoroughly obscured. Whoever owns this device must've bumped the record button while putting it in a pocket or something. Still, some muffled noise can be heard as the owner goes about their day. The general noises of Genessia city can be heard along with a feminine voice oohing and ahing at every car that goes by. That is, until a male voice cuts through the general ambiance with 'Nice ass, baby!' A moment later the feminine voice speaks up much clearly this time.]

I'm going to assume you were commenting on my axe, as otherwise making a lewd remark about the eldest princess of Nohr would be cause for execution. That said, I do agree with you, it's a fine axe... my darling Corrin bought it for me~

[There's a loud thunk of metal hitting pavement.]

Perhaps I should show it to you up close.

[Whoever cat called her let out a panicked noise and wasn't heard from again, though some laughter from the owner of the device could be heard. After that encounter, Camilla would resume her exploration, her revealing ebon armor and flowing violet locks making her fairly easy to spot should anyone come looking for her.]

[Camilla sweetie, please. Xander was reading a paper nearby when he hears the familiar voice, and the familiar sound of the axe. Folding the paper, he stands before walking over to the woman.]

Sister, you can't just kill the locals.

[he's not far himself, coming out of a local bar --overhearing the conversation and rounding the corner to see the conclusion of it. He raises his eyebrows, and lights a cigar before putting his hands in his pockets]

Aye, well it is a nice axe. Your darling Corrin has good taste.

[The entire exchange has left Madoka bright red, right up to her ears. She wants to be helpful, b-but... oh my...!!! There's so much to unload here...!]

I-I think he sa-said nice... a-a-aahhhh um! Please be careful! Axes cut things!

[She just smiles over at Xander as he approaches, leaning on the axe.]

Oh please, I didn't do anything, and if father had heard him he'd be dead on the spot.

[She goes back to looking around, paying special attention to the cars.]

So... where are we, Xander?

Ah.... Camilla. [Boy. That sure is one way to make an impression. Azura sighs a little.]

Please, don't brandish your weapon, it's better to just ignore them, you're going to scare the locals....

[She grins, hefting the comically large steel axe as if it weighed nothing, giving it a loving caress.]

Yes, Corrin always knows just what I need~

[She's... not wrong.]

A city called Genessia.

I just arrived here myself, so I don't know much more.

[There's a brief moment as Camilla pulls her device from her cleavage, looking positively amused.]

Well now, this is a surprise. I'm not sure what's going on here, but I assure you, I know exactly what he said.

[She cocks her head as she looks at her device.]

How did you get in there? [Just going to ignore the advice.]

Genessia?

[She has yet to even look at her brother, far too fascinated with all the cars.]

Is that in Valla? It looks far different than what little I saw before waking up here...

[She hums thoughtfully. This place is just far too fascinating to her.]

Oh don't worry, I won't actually harm anyone. But I cannot simply let such crude remarks go unpunished somehow.

[ Ayame was out in Genessia City that day to walk Himiko, but she was busy getting lunch at a food truck that Himiko manages to sneak away from her. She turned her psychic senses off, so she wasn't aware that Himiko ran off down the corner chasing a squirrel. The rodent managed to get away when the wolfdog got distracted by Camilla and the nincompoop. The dog watched curiously, and managed to recognize (partially) what went down, so the dog just barked at the man, ready to tackle him if needed, but luckily just caused him to cross the street now that there's two princesses out to rip his head off.

With him gone, Himiko relaxes and sits with her tongue out trying to cool herself down in this heat. A small whine as she turns to face Camilla, tilting her head a bit as she feels this other woman is similar to her master in some ways. Her master who showed up a few moments later from around the corner, clad in an elegant sundress with a purse and pair of heels that match in color. Food in hand in the form of a Taiwanese chicken steak, Ayame is just relieved that Himiko is safe and seemed to have found a friend the form of a strikingly beautiful woman clad in strange but fashionable appealing looking armor. Almost stunned for a moment as she takes a few steps closer, Ayame looks apologetic as she greets Camilla with a soft smile and a wave ]

Ah, hello there. I'm sorry if my dog bothered you, I should keep an eye on her better next time.

[ Or just keep Himiko on a psionic leash, but that means effort. Himiko almost never runs off like that anyway, but the dog has a massive hatred for squirrels for some reason. ]

[Camilla in turn seems to have been very taken with Himiko, as Ayame would find her crouched down, giving scritches behind Himiko's ear.]

Oh? Is this your dog? A shame. I was contemplating taking her home with me. Such a beautiful and smart puppy. But, I wouldn't want to come between the two of you. I'm rather protective of my companion as well... which is why whoever took her from me will have their head mounted on a spike when I find them...

[Even with the pleasant tone she maintained, it was clear she had murder on the mind.]

[ Ayame could only laugh gently in response, flashing her smile for a moment as she hears Camilla's fascination with Himiko and the contrasting edge in the words that followed. It's something Ayame is used to hearing already, being a soldier with a late squadmate who can be as violent as Camilla. Meanwhile, Himiko doesn't seem to mind being taken by Camilla, a fact that made Ayame internally groan like wow rude.

Though familiar with that type of speech, Ayame found herself unable to think of a decent response. With a sheepish expression, she replies with what was on her mind ]

My, wow... I certainly hope it doesn't have come to that.

[ Ayame wanted to take a bite since she's actually feeling hungry, but that would just be kind of rude so she manages to think of something to ask after a once-over of Camilla from head to toe ]

I assume you're a new arrival to this world.

I don't think this is in Valla at all. Someplace completely new.

Look at it Camilla. This definitely isn't home.

[ Given that she had been nearby by coincidence, she had just about considered rushing in to evade the inevitable violence. Thankfully, she managed to dissuade the catcallers by words alone. ]

I mean, that might of been uncalled for, but please don't use violence. I'd have to heal them afterward.

Are you sure, Xander? Here we stand talking about it and yet we're untouched by the curse. True this doesn't look anything like the floating islands we were ambushed on, but considering the nature of being at the bottom of the bottomless canyon... I'm not ruling out anything just yet.

[Camilla retains her focus on doting on Himiko as she speaks.]

Oh it will. I can't let anyone get away with separating me from my adorable mount, can I? No I can't~

[It was that next remark that got her attention though. She looks up curiously at Ayame.]

[Camilla turns, with the sweetest smile she could muster toward the healer.]

After all, talking in such a way to Nohrian royalty should be properly punished. A single beating would be too light a punishment.

[Now she's just having fun with this.]

[ Being someone in kahoots with a number of Guardians, Ayame feels she should be worried, but after
hearing Camilla's curious remark, Ayame's assumption of her being a newcomer is confirmed to be true. Ayame chose to be more forgiving and give Camilla a pass for now ]

It's this world we all are in, called Genessia. You woke up inside a cave filled with water, did you not? Unfortunately, we're all spirited away here.

[ Ayame raises an open hand, hoping it would pacify Camilla's violent urges a bit as she follows with more words ]

Not kidnapped by anybody per se; rather it's more of a cosmic accident. Unfortunately, your mount might not have made it with you on this trip if you didn't see it in the cave with you. But they should be safe at home. If there is anything we know for certain about this world is that time stands still in ours while we are here.

[ Ayame sighs, empathizing that it must suck to not come here with something one is quite attached to. But there's really nothing they can do about that ]

I'm sorry, this must be a lot to take in. I'm willing to share what I know with you over drinks or a snack, perhaps? You arrived at lunchtime after all. You must be famished.

[ Ayame raises her chicken steak inside a paper wrapper, hoping]

[ Konoka realized a little soon that it made her sound too much like someone who only healed because it was just a job. Which isn't accurate. ]

Or rather, if they're causing trouble, I'd rather not have to heal them?

Plus cleaning up blood is a nightmare.

[Camilla's doting slows a bit, but doesn't let up as she listens to Ayame. The same spiel as whatever was back in the cave.]

[Something she's quite familiar with, given her relationship with her mother. Not meant the same way, but it's still something that resonates.]

It's quite alright. I'm fine, really. If nothing else, I'm a survivor. I adapt quickly. I do hope you're right about time... there is something I cannot simply cannot miss.

[She hefts her axe onto her shoulder as if it were nothing, waving a hand dismissively.]

Oh calm down. I'm not actually going to hurt anyone. Just put the fear of the gods into them.

[Leo was busy looking over the newspaper while sitting on the couch at Devil May Cry when he heard that all too familiar voice from the device sitting next to him. He'd thought about taking a walk to the Bay again, as if just waiting for his remaining siblings to appear, and lo and behold, one has again. His voice has a light tone to it.]

Camilla. You're late.

[Corrin's the only one remaining, huh? He just hopes that no other Hoshidan rears their ugly head.]

I'm sure he deserved it, but try not to threaten too many people, Sister. We don't have the same power here as we do at home.
