Guys, we need to talk. I've tried to turn a blind eye to this because alternate world, people coming from all times and spaces with presumably their own trends and styles to follow. But my god does it seem like some people here dress themselves by falling into a dark closet and walking out in whatever fell onto them. Which wouldn't even be so bad except what the hell do some of you even keep in your closets in the first place?

And you know. I feel like we should all have something we can bring to this world. Which is why I want to start sharing examples of the good, the bad and the better-off-as-ashes and teaching people the differences between the three. For example:

[Posted here are three images. One is of a woman dressed in a sleek black business suit with killer heels - that is, heels that could probably actually kill a person if they were stabbed with them - and meticulous hair. To this one, Anon has added a green tick. The second shows someone in a skirt that doesn't so much seem below-knee as it does a knee-length skirt that's too long for the person wearing it, and a top that seems like someone picked up a bundle of wool without actually making it into something first - but at least the colours match. This one has a single amber cross and a note "can be saved". The last outfit is a clashing mess of colour and layers that looks like someone scavenged the left-overs of a jumble sale, with three big red crosses and flames.]

Now I know some people might be wondering where they fit into this scale. Maybe you already know. And that's why I'm here to help, as long as you're okay with a little brutal honesty.

Or maybe you have suggestions of good or bad fashions - I can't have eyes everywhere so I'm open to suggestions. Maybe we could even put some to a vote, just in case you think I'm biased or something. I dunno, these are all just thoughts right now.

Either way, I look forward to seeing what you guys can come up with~ If you're very good, we might even be able to make something beautiful out of all of this.

Why are you bothering me with this nonsense? Fashion is a ridiculous concept. As long as people are covered, I don't see how it's anyone's business how another person is dressed. I have much better things to do than to berate people for something as inconsequential as what they choose to wear.

[It probably goes without saying that Zexion is one of the offenders here. While his Organization XIII outfit isn't bad, it's also the only thing he wears. He literally owns nothing else. Why would he? It's his uniform as a Nobody.]

That's a sin against all of humanity and then some. How dare they even mesh such hideous colors together!

I mean in theory there might be a mantis shrimp planet where he needs to blend in, but somehow I doubt it.

With so many people here being standard-human, I kind of stand out. Tall and orange is one thing, but I came through in my armor, and I don't want to intimidate people here. I'm not on the run, so I don't have to do my usual maintenance coveralls and a cloak.

Wow. You're right, that is depressing. Reminds me of those movies where no-one seems to have heard of a thing called colour.

Buuuuuuut if you're really not that bothered, why don't you let us see what you cover yourself with? If you don't care, my thoughts won't matter, right?

Oh wow. When you said orange I figured you meant too much bottle tan but no, we're talking actual, natural orange.

But all right! My first suggestion would be go blue. You'll need to be careful with not wearing too many colours so you don't look like a rainbow vomited on you (for example but blues go well with orange so if you wanted something outside of the typical black-white spectrum, that's a good place to start.

Yes, he would fit right in with those post apocalyptic films. Though, would you believe he hails from a society likened to Nova City?

I think he's afraid of color. What color would you pick for this poor man? I say something blue.

I'm pretty sure that's an insult to Nova City. They have style in Nova City.

Honestly, I'd even take monochrome over drab brown. If he's so scared of colour, probably better to stick to the basics for now.

Really not sure I can do that. Taking even this much photographic evidence is already quite a call-out. But now I am rethinking what he was doing when I found him (or he found me) in the basement of a clothes department store. ;)

Sounds like he was incredibly lost. Or the store was terrible.

Anyway. If he's here, it'll be hard to miss that eyesore.

That last outfit isn't terribly outlandish where I've been. In fact, I'm sure I've worn it before.
