First Cannon Shot [video]

[The video is a poorly aimed low angle shot of a young woman in a long blue coat, in fact her clothes are mostly blue, with red hair, pince nez glasses and what at first glance looks like feathers but anyone who does pay attention will note that those are her ears. Since they twitch a bit as she is obviously paying more attention to Genessia's welcome hologram then to whoever, or whatever, is using her device.]

This device is way beyond any of the machines back home, I wonder if I can...

[As her voice trails off the woman is most certainly going to do the one thing she probably shouldn't, which is try and take apart the source of the hologram. Which the holder of the device thinks is a bad idea, if one can assume the shaking of the screen to be some sign of distress.

And the young lady looks to the device finally.]

Oh, Honey. You shouldn't be playing with that, I still need to figure out if it's sa-- [Yes as she was talking she was doing her best to get at the inner workings of the hologram and thus the usual defense of the device kicks in, and mid sentence Momo is sleep gassed.

And the video ends on her ending up asleep while crouched by the hologram, the screen still shaking as "Honey" is not pleased by this outcome.]

[Masaru is working an odd job down where Momo happens to be. He doesn't catch her post on the network, but... he does come across her basically knocked out, with a weird robot with her.]

H-hey! What the heck happened here?!

[It's not Masaru's voice that wakes up Momo from her impromptu nap, but Honey dropping the communication device, and the small robot didn't do it gently either. A slight snort escapes Momo as she wakes and promptly says:]

Honey be careful with that, it's not a bro--

[Oh, someone is here. Must be someone who owns the hologram or something like that so...]

Oh, um. I was just hoping to see if I can figure this out? How it works, but if it's yours well, I am sorry I don't think I broke it?

... It's not mine. Everyone gets onna those.

[Masaru made a face.]

Is that little metal thing bothering you? I found it hanging over you when I got here.

Really? That is amazing. [She thinks Masaru means the hologram, not the device.

And wow, don't call Honey a thing.]

Oh, no that's not a thing... She's Honey. [As she says this, Momo kneels down to pick up her small robot friend.]

Yeah, I've got mine right here. [He reaches into his pocket and produces his own phone.]

... And I see. I'm sorry, little gal. Are you sure you're both alright? One of you was unconscious a minute ago.

[At Masaru showing off his phone-device, Momo's ears droop.]

Oh, you meant that device. [Oh but asking if they're alright, gets her to flash a smile that's a bit sheepish.]

I've been through worse, a forced nap is nothing to me.

... Are you sure? I mean, I've been knocked out. Just waking up like it was nothing isn't something easy.

And what did you think I meant?

And Momo gestures to the welcome hologram.]

That device, it's so... So different from anything I've ever seen before!

Oh, that thing. Huh. I think I lost mine a while ago.

[Masaru, in fact, left it on a bench somewhere.]
