[Well, this was clearly no city Emil has ever heard of. Which was worrisome, but on the other hand, he may not have anyone hunting him here. That'd be a bonus. The information available at the entrance of the bay had been immensely helpful, and had answered a fair number of questions he'd had. Most of the others, he'd already gleaned off of the network.
Finding information was one thing Emil had always been skilled at. Living on his own like this though? That was something else entirely. Especially since he had trouble walking. Still connected to the network, he sent out a test message.]
Greetings, people of Genessia. I am new to this city, and am in need of work and possibly better lodging than what is initially provided for newbies.
I am skilled with computers and tech support if that helps any.

Hey, newbie! Do you like arcades? I run one in Nova City, and we could always use someone on hand to fix any of the consoles that go out of order. Let me know!
[She puts a package of instant ramen in her basket before laying a hand to her chest.]
I'm Minako. Nice to meet you!

Honestly, I have never had much time to do any real gaming. Anything to do with parts and maintenance would be beyond me. My skills lie in coding, internet security, and the like. If nothing else, I could make sure there were no glitches.
A pleasure. For now, you may call me 'E'.

You can find a job easily, especially with your qualifications. Very nice to meet you miss..?

So I've been told, although I've never actually had a job before. 'Mister'. But you may call me 'E'.

If you take freelance work, I've been looking for someone to code a dating sim game I'm working on. I have the artist already, just need to make it available to play on the communicators.

It sounds silly, but the hidden things are for access to a Pokemon Gym and I'm thinking about prizes for other secrets.

I wouldn't even know where to begin for prizes. You'd be on your own there.

Re: [text]
Okay 'E'~ Well jobs are really really fun, because you get to do things, and help either a lot of people, not a lot, or yourself..you should try it~
Especially with your knowledge of..well you know-the same thing that my dear dear Micro Death was made out of. The shiny fast-moving loud rocks? Urg..they're called K's?

Where is the arcade located? I can stop by tomorrow to take a look.

[That was one of the nice things about the school. They took care of all the 'students' living expenses and provided them with a monthly stipend.]
Unfortunately, I'm still quite lost. May I assume you are not from a modern era?

To answer your query...the "Ribbons and Archive" in Genessia City has a position with something along those lines. A data archivist.

Let me know if you need help settling in. I know it can get overwhelming, so just hang in there.

It certainly isn't easy. I'm still learning the layout of this city. It will be convenient to know where everything is located.

There you go! Do you see it?!
Re: [text]
Are you from the future, then? That's why I want to learn so much from you and your people~

Devices like this one are incredibly commonplace where I am from.

So that sounds like the best idea.

I will see you tomorrow, then. I'll likely be obvious.
