[ Action; Just outside the Bay Area]

[ After coming out of the cave area, she found the most helpful looking newspaper stand with a bunch of helpful things like pamphlets and a big map for her to take. She added them to the pile of things in her arms and even though she seemed to startle at the sight of the hologram woman that appeared, she kept calm and listened to everything she had to say. She even bowed her head to the hologram before she seemed to disappear. It was still really alarming to know she'd been kidnapped to some strange place, but as the woman said, she must keep calm! If she panicked and caused a scene, it might make things difficult, and it could cause others to panick and that wouldn't be right. She wanted to be as helpful as she could... well as soon as she could figure things out that was.

Quietly she unfolded the map and and found a spot nearby to lay it out. It wouldn't do very well if she gets herself lost without knowing any landmarks right? So the best action would be to stay right there until she could figure out which way to go. Or maybe catch the attention of anyone near by. ]

I hope Nero's okay back home...

[ Okay, so the pamphlet she had with her told her about this smart phone device... It seemed so strange to have a phone that was so small and cordless, but that wasn't important right now. It said to play around with it, get used to the functions. The smart phone would help her interact with others here which would be extremely helpful. After playing around with the functions a little a voice can be heard, but she was holding it the wrong way so all that could be seen was the inside of her palm. ]

Hello...? [ She clears her throat.] I just wished to thank whomever provided me with this starter packet and this lovely map. I will put it to good use and I promise to work my hardest to be some sort of help here. [ A small pause ] My name is Kyrie and I hope we will be able to get along together. Huh.. what does this do?

[ Truthfully, Nero hasn't really been on this device here that he was given upon his waking within this world. With feeling groggy from the wake, hungry as hell, and wanting to get answers out of this place he's been supposedly kidnapped to, checking around on this thing has not been at the top of his things-to-do list.

That's why he's on the bed in his "room" in this commonspace, about to fall back asleep when he decides to flick through it with his left hand... and the voice he hears... is not one which he had thought he would hear within this world. To be honest, it startles him, has him shooting up in bed and staring down to the screen with wide eyes as fingers grip the device tighter. He wants to believe... he so badly does... so badly that he desperately tries to get this video to work for himself. ]

Kyrie? Kyrie, is that you?

Hi! Did you just arrive?

[ Wait was that...! She turns her phone around in her hands, her hand still covering the camera and squints at the screen for a few seconds. Her eyes go wide and full of excitement.... not that he could see with her hand in the way but still! It was Nero! She could see Nero’s face! ]

Nero! I can’t believe you’re here..!

[ Such a happy reply! She couldn’t help but smile at it.]

Ah.. yes! I woke up a little earlier finding myself here. Hello!

[Bulla is a ray of sunshine most of the time, and she tries to be nice anytime she talks to a newcomer.]

It's a lot to get used to, but most people are pretty nice here...or at worst they're a little grumpy while still being good people.

[Emphasis on most people.]

[She let out a soft laughter ]

I might know a little thing or two about grumps with warm hearts. So hopefully I will be able to handle it. But... it’s nice to know that others here are so welcoming. I will try not to get in the way.

[ So it is her... she's really here... and while he's not so sure he's thrilled with the thought of her having been kidnapped to this place, she's... she's here. He smiles, one he only ever gives to her, seeming genuinely happy as he stares to the screen. ]

Yeah... me either...

[ Already fumbling with his words. ]

Where are you? I'll come to you right now.

Why would you be in the way? It's fairly peaceful here. You'll need to get a job, but there are lots of opportunities available.

Ah...! Hold on. I’ve been trying to mark off places i’ve been on this map to help me memorize everything... I know I’m in the main city.

[ She moves her hand finally and Nero is graced with the sight of Kyrie finally. She has a look of concentration as her hand glides over this giant map. She didn’t think she’d find anyone she knew from home, and she didn’t want to trouble so many people who already lived here..! Her head head tilts up to see a building near by. Her eyes light up. ]

I see a little shop called Cske Town..? Does that sound familiar to you?

Perhaps I am being a little overcautious.

[ She lowered her head with an embarrassed smile on her face. This other girl seemed so nice, so she shouldn't be so nervous.]

I'm glad to hear that. I'm not certain what I would be good at, but I want to be able to earn my keep so to speak.

[ Honestly, it doesn't, but he sort of has an idea of where she is and there's movement from him on the screen as he begins to grab a couple things from his room. ]

Yeah, just stay there. I'm leaving right now.

[ He goes to shut the video function off but comes to pause as he stares to the screen and, as before, he smiles a little. ]

I'll be right there, ok?

[ And that's when he cuts the video feed and makes his leave.

He does his best to arrive to the location Kyrie had given him, taking maybe around ten to fifteen minutes or so? Only on account that he's only been here for a couple days and still isn't all that familiar with the place but, using a couple skills of his (thanks demonic speed) to get him to where he needs to be, he makes it there and stops on the sidewalk, looking around to try and spot her.

When he does? He lights up in a way he hasn't done since arriving here and he takes off toward her, the sound of buckles and zippers clanging about as he goes. ]

Kyrie!

Hmm...well, what are your interests and hobbies, for starters? If you're interested in something, it's easier to do work related to it.

[ She smiles at the smart phone, even as the connection ends. He wasn't with her now, but just seeing his face, just knowing he was okay was enough to send her into high spirits. She didn't mean to trouble him so late at night. Surely he must have been about to sleep or something, right? She doesn't like troubling him like this, but a part of her felt a little selfishly happy to grab his attention so easily.

She placed the smartphone down along with her other things, the map, pamphlets, any other little thing she picked up and waited. She had her hands folded in front of her just waiting and letting her eyes wander around to look at the nearby shops. It didn't take long for her to hear a familiar clang of buckles and zippers so she turned her head, her eyes brightening even more so. ]

Nero!

[ He really was here. It wasn't some silly trick of this strange new place. Nero was right there! ]

I enjoy helping... but I suppose that might be a little to broad of a suggestion.

A little bit, but it means you're probably suited for a job that involves interacting with the public on some level. So let's get more specific. Do you like books? Baking? Fashion? Technology?

[ It's her. It's really her. This isn't a trick or spirit or hallucination from this strange world. He could never be tricked by a fake Kyrie and he finds himself smiling even more as he hurries his way to her and envelops her in an embrace. ]

Kyrie.

[ He breathes her name against her hair, hand of blue cradling the back of her head as he nuzzles against her warmly, keeping her close, letting her very presence settle against his own. To think that he might have never felt this again, might have never heard her heart beating against his own... despite this world and its kidnapping spirits, he feels content here in this moment... home. ]

When did you get here? Are you ok?

[ He asks that as he pulls back just enough to look down to her, eyes of blue so desperately searching her face to ensure she's ok, that nothing's happened to her, and a hand comes up to cradle at her face, Nero smiling a little then. ]

You're really here, huh?

I do enjoy reading, and cooking is something I often did back home. Fashion... I'm afraid I don't know much about and the same can go for technology.

[ She laughed a little. ]

[ The moment his arms slipped around her, she felt like she was melting into the warmest and safest place she could ever find. Instinctively her arms wrapped right around him in return, keeping him close to her. Perhaps it was a little silly, but she felt so excited to see Nero, almost like she hadn't seen him in months! It hasn't been quite that long, but just being reunited with him like this, one might think it had been months.

She almost pouted when she felt him pull away briefly, but his hand cradled her cheek so softly, she just had to laugh. It seems Nero was just as worried about her as she was of him. She let one of her hands fall from his back, only to cup the top of his own hand. ]

I'm fine, I promise Nero. I think I arrived earlier today.

[ She let her eyes drift shut for a moment, just taking him his warmth. Taking in this moment for as long as she could. ]

Either I am here with you right now, or we both are having a shared dream it seems.

[ The suggestion of this being a dream just has Nero smile a little still, his gaze looking to her hand that comes up to touch his blue fingers; she's never been afraid or shied away from his demon side. ]

Well then I hope I don't wake up from it... even if I'm sinking into the fires of Hell.

[ At that, he laughs a little under his breath, turning his hand then to lace his fingers with her own, dropping them down a moment later. ]

Are you staying at that place that's shared by pretty much everyone it feels like?

[ The Commonspace, he means and boy, he can't wait to move out of there. ]

[ Her heart flutters when she hears his laughter, and her cheeks flush a little when he laces their fingers together. They were in the middle of a strange place, and yet when she was with him, she felt like it didn't even matter, because when he was with her, there was nothing to be afraid of.

She laughed a little at his question. It's just like Nero to exaggerate a little like that.]

Mmm, I believe that's where I'm supposed to be staying.

[ Whoops. She spent all day exploring, she didn't even think to find out where she was supposed to be living until she got more money. ]

Yeah, me too. It sucks.

[ He doesn't even try to hide his disdain for the place. It's not as though it's infested and rundown and a shithole or anything. It's just... too many people and it feels cramped. But, it'll make do until he can afford something better and now that Kyrie is here, he really needs to find something a little above just decent. ]

You could stay in my room.

[ Cue the awkward little laugh that follows then and a hand that comes up to rub at the back of his neck. ]

I mean... there's a bed... which you can totally have. I don't mind the floor, really. Slept in worse places before. Just...

[ And he comes to look to her then, chewing on his bottom lip for a moment before he smiles a little. ]

...kinda lonely without you.

Then you could apply to work at the library, or maybe at a restaurant. My friend Orihime owns a bakery called Cake Town. You could apply there. Just tell her that Bulla sent you.

[ Her cheeks heat up a little more, but not even for a second does she seem bothered by the idea. It might be a little strange, but she feels so strongly for Nero, and honestly there is no one else she would rather live with.

She had to tell him it was fine, that she wanted to as well, but everything in her head to say sounded so eager and embarrassing. It would be unfair to be so forward toward him, wouldn't it? She almost let herself get lost in thought when she caught the last of his words. "Kinda lonely without you." Her heart felt like it had exploded, not a heart shattering uncomfortable explosion, but the kind with confetti and sparkles. ]

Nero...

[ She trailed off a little, giving the hand she was holding a nice long squeeze. ]

I would be thrilled... to stay in your room if you will have me.

Bulla sent me? [ She lowered her head for a moment, the warmest smile on her face. She only just met this girl and she's been so kind to her. ]

That's a really lovely name and it fits such a kind person.

[ Well, who else was he going to stay with? Dante? Hell no, he'd rather live in a cardboard box. But, while he had initially been thinking of finding some place in Everglade for himself, what with all that supernatural activity and all, now he's not so sure. With Kyrie here, the last thing he wants is to place her in danger on account of him or have her deal with spooky things that might go bump in the night so... now he has to rethink a couple things. But, it's fine and it doesn't matter for the moment since he still needs to get a bit more income and, you know, actually have a job.

But her words make him feel bashful and he glances down for a moment, trying to hide his smile. She said yes. ]

I mean... don't expect five star accommodations or anything? But it's clean and... like I said... there's a bed, so. Kinda works for the time being.

[ Boy why is this so awkward after everything together? He's so glad Dante can't see this. Which- ]

Dante's here. [ He adds then as he looks up to her. ] I ran into him, well.. he kinda ran into me from behind... with his fist. [ What a jerk, honestly. ] He's got his shop here so I mean, at least we have someone we know if things get real bad?

[ He smiles to her, hopeful, not wanting to have her worry and to know that he'll do whatever he can to keep her safe and take care of her himself. ]
