No Place for a Hoshidan

A - [Video]

[Here we see a young warlord without his helmet and armor, just got out of a shower, put on his professional clothes, and finally relaxing from such..confusing days. While he was looking at the video, trying to figure it out, it finally dawned on Ryoma that it was rolling.]

...Ah. Here we are.

[Ryoma cleared his throat]

Greetings Kingdom of Genessia. It seems that you have welcomed me into this place with open, warm arms. Speaking on terms of the Kingdom of Hoshido, it is an honor to be welcomed to such a country.

To the citizens, I am looking for my family and fellow alliances. Hinoka, Sakura, Corrin, Azura; if you are able to get this message, I wish to meet. It seems something strange has happened to all of us upon our fall to The Kingdom of Valla according to Takumi.

Xander, Camilia, Leo, and Elise: This goes for you as well.

This could all be The First Dragon's doing, so stay alert and strong.

[he stops his speech, and takes a deep breathe]

-And Scarlett. If you're out there, I will be at your side as soon as possible. We cannot trust this place completely. Our army will come together once again, for both of our Kingdoms.

[The video signed off abruptly. This prince still didn't know what he was doing, but at least the message was out]

B - [Action]

After the video, Ryoma had gotten his armor back on and was about to search for everyone. He had his time of rest, now it was his time to gather everyone. He didn't care if it was at night, he needed to make sure everyone was safe. Unfortunately he was lost...The Prince would never show or admit it, but as the more he thought about it, maybe he did need that help.

[That's a face he certainly didn't want to see at any point. That goes for any Hoshidan, really. And judging the way Ryoma was talking, and extending this "alliance" or whatever to the Nohrians, he's got a hunch that he knows exactly how this is going to play out. Great. Wonderful. No, really.]

This has nothing to do with dragons. Spirits are what govern this world and are what brought us here. Genessia isn't a kingdom either- it's five cities and only Fayren is governed by a monarch.

[Not sounding very friendly, is he? He's pre-emptively annoyed.]

Now, let me guess. If I said something about a war between Nohr and Hoshido, you'll have no idea what I'm talking about. Am I right?

[Oh, brother. Wandering off without bringing Takumi with you?

Thankfully, the younger brother was out and about, being hopeful he'll run into Hinoka or Sakura now that he reunited with Ryoma.

[..Yeah, no, he was definitely familiar with Xander's sassy pants little brother. He lowered her gaze to him, at least thankful it was someone he knew.]

There has always been conflict and war between our families, especially since your Father kidnapped Corrin. But to reiterate, we made a temporary alliance in order to take down the Invisible soldiers.

...Something in which you have forgotten, it seems.

[Thank goodness Takumi was here. He looked like he was more seasoned to this place. Giving him a small smile, Ryoma nodded]

I am. I'm looking for everyone.

[The prince gazed up at the night sky and questioned]

What is this place like? It is a very vast land and it's filled with many unknowns. Perhaps you can educate me on this place since you have been here, hm?

[Ryoma glanced back at his brother. Takumi would definitely be an extraordinary governor for Hoshido]

[Takumi nodded with a smile of his own. Like the good old days. Fujin Yumi, of course, his tucked under his arm. He still doesn't trust this place enough to leave it at home.]

I'll admit, I'm no expert on this world, but Elise and Azura filled me in.

From what I understand, this is no kingdom, but some kind of city-state where the people choose their ruler. There's no Kings or Queens here.

[Takumi caught sight of one of those detestable metal wagons rolling by. Honking asses.]

And you see those wagons? They move under their own power. They are called "automobiles," or, simply, a car.

I didn't forget anything, because it didn't happen.

[He sighed, pinching the bridge of his nose. The last thing he wants to deal with is clearing this up with a Hoshidan, but at least in this case, Leo won't be threatened for information.]

There is such a thing as "different timelines" that the spirits can pick people from. I came from a timeline where this "third enemy" ordeal didn't happen.

[Frankly he still thinks y'all are talkin' bullshit BUT WHAT DOES HE KNOW APPARENTLY]

But I guess your memories line up with my siblings.

[ He was greeted with a unfamiliar, but gentle looking face. ]

Though I am fairly new to this strange place... I wish to help you as much as I am able to. Is there perhaps anything you could tell me of your friends and family that might make it easier for me to look out for them?

[Instead of wearing their usual mask, the blue haired youth was wearing shutter shades to hopefully pull off the same effect their mask did. Somehow they seemed tired even though they were trying to be friendly.]

Welcome to Genessia, I have met Takumi and it's a pleasure to meet a person who hails from the same Kingdom of Hosido as he did.

[Corrin would recognize that armor anywhere. Even at night. She smiled to herself and ran towards her brother. ~~She's still not wearing any shoes.~~]

[Ryoma took that information in, all of it. Everything was very flipped around. Those cars were very confusing too. He gazed at the one rolling by]

Under their own power you mean like they are fueled by magic of sorts? Cars..

[He didn't want to get too caught up in all the strange and questions he could ask, and instead stuck to the other more important ones]

Elise and Azura? -And Leo on top of that. Who else is in this..city-state?

Different timelines. So you are not the Leo that I know, but rather..another one? That seems far-fetched.

[He caught himself, knowing full well that a LOT of information lately was really strange, though. Everything was bullshit, and more time away from their world, was more time that the soldiers of Valla are going to eradicate both Hoshido and Nohr]

What is the purpose of these spirits taking us away, then? Do you know that much?

[..First of all those shades were really throwing him off. Was that some..strange tribal mask? And yet they had really familiar clothes on them. Why was everything so backwards????? ]

Ah-ha, so you know my brother, excellent. Then I know that you are someone that is trustworthy. I am Prince Ryoma of Hoshido. Who are you?

[His deep in thought of the walk/not-walk signs and the stop-and-go traffic light was put to a halt when a familiar voice summoned him. Ryoma turned immediately and spotted his dear sister]

Corrin..Corrin, it's you! You're here too.

[immediately, he went to meet her and shower her with questions] Are you hurt? How long have you been here?

[Ryoma's calmness sort of cracked from the warmth of his small smile, and concern for another family member arriving]

Your guess is as good as mine on what powers them. They come in much larger forms as well. A valuable commodity, I'd say.

[Yuck. Leo. Let's avoid talking about him.]

Xander, Camilla and Corrin are here. Hinoka and Sakura are the only ones of our families still absent.

[Minus the parents, of course.]

It does, doesn't it? But I doubt you would believe that I've been here for nearly two months, do you?

[Last thing he cares to do is help a Hoshidan, but Ryoma at least isn't hunting him down to point his sword at him.]

No. Nothing is recorded in text to tell us the why. And I've poured over what's available numerous times.

[Just saying that to make sure Ryoma doesn't try to call bullshit on him.]

And before you go on about needing to do things at home, time is frozen while we're here.

[Somehow saying titles felt foreign after not using any for a while. She made a mental note to make sure to say Takumi's proper title.]

I'm fine, Ryoma. I'm fine. I haven't been here long, but all of my siblings from Nohr are here, but you, Takumi and Azura are the only ones from Hoshido.

I'm glad you're safe.

Hmm...yes, it's always the dragons' doing, isn't it?

[Says a masked dragon looking into the screen, looking somewhat annoyed. A claw taps on the stone floor of the cave he's residing in. Really, why do dragons get blamed for everything?]

For now, wandering the city trying to find a place to work had become Xander's daily routine. Today though, he saw a familiar set of armor wandering around the same time. Stopping, he waiting until he confirmed it was Ryoma, before walking over and resting a hand on his shoulder.

"Prince Ryoma." Ryoma will notice he's not in his armor, having started to wear clothing local to the area. He doesn't even have his crown on, having left it at home. He didn't want to advertise his status too much.

Ah, thank you for your patronage, then. The Kingdom of both Hoshido and Nohr are grateful for any help. Might I ask for your name?

[Ryoma appreciates all the help he gets, even from someone who looks..out of his world, literally.]

I am looking for an army of people, but if you come across any of them-even just one- it is the most helpful.

[suddenly his gaze turned a bit saddened] Takumi..has been found fortunately. Hinoka and Sakura both share the same hair as mother once did. Hinoka is often with her pagasi and is a skilled hunter. Sakura, meanwhile, has such a gentle, caring heart, her talents lie in the magic she wields. Azura and Corrin...a legendary singer and my long lost sister..

[he sighs] The Nohr family has been found. I'm looking for someone by the name Scarlett, most of all. Blonde hair, red armor, powerful personality...

[Ryoma cut himself off, finding himself more saddened, and feeling a light blush come to him. His guise turned calmer and less saddened to this woman] There are more, but I believe if you find one, more will be revealed.

[Ryoma nodded solemnly and sighed] Then Hinoka and Sakura will be our priority. In a world this large, no doubt they will be here.

[with that he starts to walk. In which direction? Who knooooows. It wasn't until a pause that he asked]

..What of the rest of the army, then? And Scarlet..did she make it..?

[For once, that demeanor of his sounded so uncertain at the worry of Scarlet]

[Two months? But he just saw him! Falling with Xander, sure, but..no way he's been here for two months. But, he knew Leo to be wildly smart, a definite scholar of Nohr beside Xander. Ryoma lowered his gaze.

This was getting to be way too much]

You're right, it is hard to believe you've been here for that long, I do not completely understand the situation, or as to why. [he sighs]

But I appreciate the information. I am comforted to know that our Kingdoms are not in turmoil while we are here. It certainly sounds like we are in a trap of sorts with the lack of information.

[ Don't mind her. She looks to be scribbling down something on a notepad. The names he had given, the descriptions of the people. It might be difficult to remember all of this, so making note of it would be easiest, right?

There was a small pause as she gave him a small smile. She noticed the small little looks he gave, chalking them up to him being concerned for his important ones.]

Lord Marth, it is then.

[He knew royal insignia when he saw it. This was an outsider kingdom, definitely, but a high-ranking kingdom regardless. You know. Except for the shades. Lucina, not yellow, gods, try blue]

The pleasure is all mine. Have you been assisting him? Or the other way around?

As am I.

[Ryoma placed a lovingly proud brotherly hand on Corrin's shoulder] We will gather the whole army and our families yet. We just need to find Hinoka and Sakura.

[pauses, narrowing his eyes] Have..all of them been helping you in this world, then? I expect nothing less of Takumi and Azura to help.

[...okay he was still iffy on Nohr, BUT CAN YOU BLAME HIM]
