Spotting the water on the ground, he acts without thinking, scooping some of it up and flinging the water out of the cave. Hopefully, there's nobody directly across from one of the openings, because that water's going to be airborne for quite a while, and if it hits someone, it's going to hurt.]

Strange... I don't think Big Mom would underestimate me this much...

[The massive fishman takes a few hesitant steps forward, keeping an eye out for one of the many Devil Fruit users and homies in Big Mom's forces, when he nearly steps on the phone.]

--think I've got it... [After taking a closer look at the device, Jinbei sits back, eyes closed in contemplation.]

It's clear that wherever this is, it's not in the Grand Line. I suppose I'll be delayed in getting to Wano...

My name is Jinbei, and I am grateful for all of this information; it's very helpful. If any of the Straw Hat Pirates are here, I would appreciate it if someone could direct me to them. ...Or perhaps they'll find me. They are quite the energetic bunch... [A small smile crosses Jinbei's face as he thinks back on his short time with the crew.]

I will need to find work and a place to live... but I can figure that out later. [It clearly doesn't concern him; if worse comes to worse, he can find a large body of water and build something under there.] Thank you for your time.

[Sabo almost instantly recognizes Jinbei from studying wanted posters and the newspaper ... which is the usual for him.

He turns on his phone to respond and immediately grins. He's happy to see a somewhat familiar face, even if he's never met him personally.]

Hi! I don't believe any Straw Hats are here. I've scoured for information and everyone has said they're not around. Luffy was here, but that was before I arrived. Unfortunately.

Maybe they'll show up at some point, though. It would be really nice to see them again!

I doubt Namur is good about keeping it from Thatch, though you'd be better off asking the phoenix. Portgas only arrived yesterday, but it sounds like the phoenix opened a subarchway to Whitebeard's memorial, so I have to assume they'll find out something in due course.

Until then, step lightly, and I won't be the one to open that wound on them. Intentionally. [Since if Portgas asked, Smoker would be honest. Same with all the other times.]
