[Elsa looks like she's done better. She looks cool and composed, as always, but she's done with hiding her emotions so she doesn't even try to look happy. That would only lead to a disaster in making with her powers.]

To those who knew my sister, Anna, she's gone home. I woke up one day and she... wasn't here. Her name longer appears on my phone list either so. She's left.

[There's the reason for her sorrow. She moves her camera and shows ... a really, really large amount of ice cream cakes and other ice cream confections behind her.]

So I made a lot of sweet things in my sorrow and now I don't know what to do with them. They're all ice cream based and the reason they're doing well in room temperature is due to my powers, but they are all very much eatable. So if anyone would like a free cake or other type of pastry... please contact me.

I'm sorry to hear that.

[That's an impressive amount of ice cream cakes and Bulla would gladly take all of them, but clearly this girl is upset.]

Do you have ice powers of some sort?

[Mavis has never met Elsa, but she's heard of her from Zeref. And she thinks that she'll get enough words of condoleances over the device without her adding to it.

Instead, she decides to visit her at Oak Guarden. Part of her thinks it's also her duty as Guardian of Fayren to be there for people who live there, even when they're not in danger.

It's already the early evening when Mavis arrives, after fulfilling her guardian duties. The barefeet girl, in her long pale pink dress gently knocks at the door. She's holding a little basket, so she can bring some frozen treats back to Fairy Haven once she's done keeping Elsa company.]

I'm sorry to hear about your sister.

I can understand how it feels to lose someone important to you.

[There was always one thing that usually brought Allen out of a train of thought or just certain things in general. The mention of food. But in this situation, he knew to at least be polite about the whole thing.]

I'm sorry to hear someone you care about has left. [Though he couldn't help but noticed everything else she had said.]

I admit we don't know each other at all, so my words might not mean anything to you at all, but I've never really seen anyone make so much out of sadness for a loved one leaving.

Regina is on her way home from work when she catches the video message from, of all people, Elsa of Arendelle. And the young queen seems to have a habit of misplacing her sister, or perhaps her sister has a habit of misplacing herself. Rather than attempt to explain their connection over video, since there's no guarantee at all this is the Elsa she has known, Regina elects to stop by her home.

Just outside Oak Garden, she pulls out her phone and sends a brief text to Swan. When she's done, she knocks at the door and steps through. "Hello?"

Hey, Elsa. I'm sorry to hear about Anna. Do you want me to cover your shifts at work? I can do that, if you need time to...I don't know. Refocus. Get some space.

Whatever people do after something like that.

[There was a lingering sense of foreboding to Elsa's words that Hikari could not shake. She knew others would be expressing their condolences, and saw no fault in that...but, for once, she opted to go in a different direction. For some reason, not yet ready to talk about Missing Siblings.]

That's very kind of you, to offer them all for free.

She is the most gentle person I know. Very social and bright like the sunlight. She's always on a positive mood and lifts the spirit of others' up.

[Elsa nods with gratitude, instead of saying anything out loud. It's a more of a royal way of dealing with condolences.]

Yes. I was born with them. I can manipulate both ice and snow at will.

[It takes a little while, but Elsa comes open the door. She curtsies.]

Hello. Are you here to pick up some of the treats?

[She nods gratefully at her words, smiling a sad smile.]

It is a grief I never wish anyone to learn to feel, but sadly something that will be a part of our lives one way or another, sooner or later.

[Elsa looks behind herself before smiling, rather sadly but also a bit sheepishly.]

It was a way to get my mind elsewhere for the time being... I need to control my emotions and it took me a little while to calm down. Besides, Anna loves sweet food, so this was also in memory of her.

Elsa comes over to the door to greet her new guest. "Hello. Did you come here to pick up some treats? There are still some left."

That would actually be good, thank you. I don't think I can focus on work right now.

I wouldn't want to seek profit over these. They're different from what I do at work. Not artistic or thought through. Well, they should still be tasty.

Any time. I like to think you'd do the same for me, if I need it. You're pretty awesome so far.

Of course. If you ever need me to cover you, I shall. And... thank you. The feeling is mutual.

Really?

[ That's new. Give her a minute. There'll be a smile in her voice shortly. ]

I appreciate hearing that. Hey, if you need anything while you're taking a mini stay-cation, let me know okay? It'll help me get to know this place better, at the very least.

[And then she realizes what she's just said. Oops.]

Pun completely unintentional. That must have been incredibly useful during the heatwave before.

"No, not at all, actually. I came to see you." It was clear from the younger queen's expression, she didn't recognize Regina at all. That didn't particularly matter to her, and nor would it matter to Emma given her response to the text. But she did regret that left them with no solace to offer. "I know you and your sister from home."

Here that is always the possibility, but I find it doesn't stop people from wanting to still form close bonds.

I know I still try reguardless of who I lose because I know those who go will want me to be happy. I am the same would be for you as well.

That's actually pretty sweet... The pun isn't meant to be intended.

[He tilted his head slightly. He knew he didn't mean it as a pun anyway. It wasn't long before he was using his index finger and rubbing the top of his lip with it. Someone was embarrassed about that not intentional pun.]

But it's a nice way to remember someone you care about, is what I guess I was trying to say.

And that's what makes you kind.

[Undeterred from the sentiment, she smiled brightly in turn.]

Besides, I'm sure most of the children you give them to won't mind what they look like. Any gift at all would be precious to them.

[There's new kind of warmth in Elsa's tone when she speaks again.]

[That does make her amused as she chuckles a bit.]

Yes, they were. I was glad I was able to help out.

There's clear surprise on Elsa's face at what Regina says, but then she smiles, a bit sadly.

"I see. Well, as you likely realized, I have no memory of meeting you yet. But I will gladly get to know you here, if you so wish."

[Elsa's smile turns slightly stronger.]

Yes, I am sure Anna wouldn't want me to grief for her too long. And I don't plan on stopping making new friends, because every memory is an important resource.

[Elsa chuckles a bit at the unintended pun. Allen isn't the first one to do that.]

It'll be even better if they can bring joy to others, too. So, would you be interested in a treat or few?

That's true. What matters is how they taste like and the feeling behind them.

I took the bounty to catch the air conditioner thief with my brother and a friend. My powers aren't helpful for helping people keep cool, but they are good for catching jerks.

[He smiled slightly.]

Sure! I mean you put some time into it after all.

That's right. Plus having friends here helps for more than memories. Like if something happens you can have someone to rely on to support you or help.

[She smiled softly, she likes to think that was the case for her and the friends she made here.]

"Regina, Queen of... I believe your realm calls mine Misthaven," she offers by way of response and extends her hand. "I'm sorry for your loss, Elsa. I know how much Anna means to you."

Indeed, I am!
