003 - [Video] Unicorn has figured out human form.

[The video opens up to Lily, not that anyone who’s met her thus far would recognize her. Instead of the black unicorn she’s been up till now, she has finally managed to transform into her human form again, and looks quite happy about it.]

It feels so good to be human in form again. I never thought I’d miss it so much. To have hands and fingers. To be able to hold and do things again. I almost thought I’d be stuck the way I was forever.

Sounds like someone might have already beat me to the goat since you're recommending it. Then again, I prefer actual stallions, but, hey if that gets you off who am I to judge.

[ He's genuinely happy for her. It must be such a relief to be able to use her hands again, among other things. ]

[She's so proud of herself.]

I can't even tell you how nice it feels to be in human form. It's what I'm most used to. It was so strange having hooves.

[She smiles into the phone, though at least she had that smile back as well.]

So how did you manage to change back into human form? What was the trigger?

I believe it. I'm surprised you weren't having panic attacks from the cognitive dissonance.

You didn't see me when I first transformed.

Apparently I stopped thinking about it quite so hard.

To not think about it so hard. It was strange, because once I calmed down and started not thinking about it for awhile, when I did absently I just....transformed back.

[She was just glad there had been clothes for her to borrow in the house at the time.]

[That voice...]

I haven't tried yet, but I think I can. Right now I'm just enjoying feeling human again for a while.

[Mavis is trying very hard not to tell you that she told you so, but...] Told you that calming down was the key!

I stopped thinking about it so hard. It was more of an afterthought this time and then suddenly-

[Excuse her for suddenly dropping her phone. It'll take a moment before she can use her nose to flip it over. Damn it!]

[ At first Sam was confused by what had happened, but not for more than a few seconds. ]

Oh, shit. I'm sorry. I meant what was the first thing you did when you had your hands back. Shit shit.

[ He frowned at the screen, brows bunching together. ]

What can I do?

It's okay, but.....[She looks embarrassed to be asking.]uh....could you bring me some clothes or something? I can't really change back without them.

[She almost blushes as that, not used to being called pretty directly.] Thank you.

Next is getting more clothes, and probably making sure I have some on hand in case I transform again.

It would probably be a good idea, yes.

Also you should start working on controlling your transformations.

I'm certainly going to try to learn.

What happens to your clothes? [ Sam's brows knit in concern but he waves that off. ] Never mind. We can talk about it later. Where are you?

[Was that really important right now anyway. She couldn't exactly transform back without them, and those had been the only ones she had at the time she'd transformed. For now, she picks up her phone to show him her location in Genessia City. She'd been planning on shopping.]

[ Sam notes the location and then ] I'm not great with sizes for women. I don't think Lorna's clothes will fit you. If you text me the sizes, I can get you some jeans and a t-shirt and, uh, underwear.

I um....don't know my sizes. The styles were different in my world....uh....time maybe is the best term? Everything was often made one size and layered unless you were wealthy and could afford a tailor to make it. So, anything like that or a dress or something like that would be fine. I don't mind if it's a little big or anything as long as it covers me.

[The clothes she'd had on before transforming back had been that way too.]

A gorgeous human form, [she laughs lightheartedly. Lily's excitement is easily reflected, it seems.] How'd you change back?

[ He gave her an apologetic smile and then nodded. ]

I'll be there as soon as I can, and I'll call if I'm going to be longer than twenty minutes.

[ He was already grabbing his wallet and heading out the door. ]

Well I can't say I'm still not what I am. I just merely prefer human form. You don't know how much you miss hands until they're gone.

Lily waited patiently for Sam to bring her clothes. The ones she'd borrowed from the house ripped on the ground and certainly not usable once she managed to change to human again. It was a tough life not having full control over her shifting quite yet, but she knew that she'd get it. She paced back and forth a little, stretching her equine legs and keeping an eye out for Sam or anyone that might mean her harm for some reason. So far she'd found herself safer here then back home, but there was no telling when that might change.

.Not concentrating so hard.

I disagree. When I was a demon, I had claws and claws were freaking better than hands.

Oh well. Guess if you were once a human, always a human.

I'm merely more used to being human, and claws and especially hooves are not the most appealing form for me.

You should cherish the fact you can be something non-human.

Sam might not have a lot of experience with sizes or buying women's clothes, but he did know what not to buy. Things that were frilly, fluffy, full of lots of colors. There weren't a lot of choices if he didn't want to go all over the place, which he didn't think Lily wanted to wait for, but he managed to find a simple black "maxi dress" and a lightweight slouchy tunic sweater to go over it. He wasn't sure what to do about shoes since he didn't know her size, so he just had to hope the ones she had hadn't been destroyed when she shifted. He could always go out and find a pair after; he had a measurement app on his phone.

It took about forty-five minutes to get it all together and get to where she was, and he still felt terrible about causing her shift when he knocked on the door.
