It depends on how you bounce it. Too hard and you go too far away, to light and you'll hit the low scores. It's actually not easy to figure out what the right amount of force is, but it is one of the factors.

I mean if it is one of the rigged one then the higher scores will also have smaller holes, I guess so that's always a thing to keep an eye on.
