Devilish Designs - Closed to Bulla
[Kaoru got the building, which was one step towards his business goal. But the young man was finding himself standing in front of various dummies, all with nothing on it right now. He was trying to think of what the best clothing choices would be to be viewed in the window. But so far he couldn't think of what would work the best and what would draw people in.

With a small sigh passing by his lips, he soon went into his pocket to pull out his device, quickly flicking through it to a certain name. He knew of one person that he felt like could help him more than anything. So with a quick message asking if she wanted to come to Devilish Designs to help him with something he found himself going around and setting up some tea and snacks while he waited.]

Closed to Minako
[He hadn't forgotten about taking Minako out to karaoke. He had felt bad about not doing it soon after the carnival. But he had needed to finish off a few things to the outfit and actually learn how to wrap it in the best way possible by himself. He found it to be an achievement on his end, even if it still looked like a mess.

But it was done and he had been looking at his phone for a moment before heading to check if she was either at her apartment or place of business. He figured he might as well surprise her with it now at least.]

[With things starting to come along business wise with a few little things left to decide all he had to do now was simply advertise for both business in general as well as letting people know there are jobs available.

So he was currently walking around Genessia handing out leaflets all the while smiling.]

[ D had been strolling along, down the street when he was handed the flyer with the invitation. He looks to the youth and his brows raise.

He has been told more than once, by more than one person, that his style offends. ]

I am in need of these services.

[Satou pauses when she's handed the leaflet, looking at it with a confused expression. It takes her a moment to realize what it's for and who handed it out: She's so preoccupied with working that she almost forgot about Kaoru.]

Ah, Kaoru-san... Hello...

AH! KAORU-SAN! [She looks closer at the leaflet, smushing it against her nose.] HELLO!

[ Ayame was out on a stroll when Kaoru approaches her, handing out a flyer that got her to blink for a moment before accepting. It gave her such a nostalgic feeling, showing it in a wistful smile as she appreciates the contents of the flyer ]

Devilish Designs. Quite a quirky name for a store. Very modern.

[ She redirects her smiling attention at Kaoru ]

I hope your business does well, young man. Perhaps it's fate that we ran into each other. I used to have a tailoring business in Genessia. It used to be right there, actually.

[ She points to where Atelier Iris used to be, with the location now being used for a different store ]

[A pair of fluffy purple ears twitch and perk up at the sound of a familiar voice. Ches sits up and watches silently from a nearby roof while blinking the sleep out of his eyes. A moment later, the feline is jumping silently off his perch and floating silently over to the orange-haired fashionista.]

I didn't know devils designed clothes.

[Minako doesn't appear to be at home when he calls. She rarely is, save on weekday mornings where she sleeps in, and she definitely wouldn't answer the door if that were the case. Thankfully, karaoke clubs don't tend to cater to early risers.]

[No, she's at work, upstairs in her office, working hard on designing her new video game and outlining the various story paths available to the player. She's completely absorbed in her writing, pausing now and again to giggle girlishly and sigh at a particularly charming line now and again before tucking her hair back and shaking out her wrist before returning to the script.]

[When one of the floor workers knocks on her door, she snaps straight up and crams the papers into the top of her desk, just in time as the door swings open.]

Miss Aino? There's a Kaoru Hitachiin here to see you.

[Minako jumps straight out of her seat, suddenly exploding with sunshine and romantic energy.]

Tell him I'll be right down! WAIT NO! I'll tell him myself! ♥

[And off she goes past the startled employee, blonde hair sailing over her shoulders as she zooms down the stairs, past the players in the sea of beeps and flashing colors, straight toward her date. She greets him with the biggest of smiles, throwing her hand into the air.]

Ready to go! It's nice to see you again, Kaoru. Shall we?

[Bulla's happy for Kaoru and it's good to see him doing so much for himself. It wasn't that long ago that he needed to be told the basics of cooking. He's come a long way in a short time. She wants him to succeed. With his skill as a designer and his sense of style, she's fairly confident that he will, but sometimes weird things become stylish.

Although she is worried for Orihime and has been spending a lot of time searching for her missing friend, she's not going to neglect all of her other friends. If Kaoru wants help with something, she'll make some time for him.

She arrives promptly, knocking at the entrance.]

[One leaflet is handed to one Alice Liddell who looks at it and then back up to Kaoru.]

Oh, ah, thank you, sir. [Sinfully good, did that mean she had to pay with her soul?] But shouldn't clothes be tailored to you anyways? Otherwise, if you put on something not tailored to you, it isn't likely to fit!

[Sabo recognizes Kaoru almost immediately, and takes the leaflet without any hesitation. He looks down at it and briefly skims what it says.]

I'm glad you have a business going! Unfortunately, I went to work the other day to find the door locked and a sign saying it was permanently closed, so --

[He shrugs a little.]

I guess my tailoring stint is over for now. I'm thinking about what I want to do next. This might have been some sort of sign that I needed to be doing something a little more ... like what I was up to back home.

[Kaoru smiled happily. he was glad that he managed to get someone interested already. He was worried that it might have taken much longer than the couple of hours he had been doing it.]

Great. It's not close by if you want to talk about it now.

[He paused for a moment, he... really didn't know how to respond for a good moment or two. But really he knew he should act as he would for a certain someone back home.]

Hello, that is the most excited I have heard someone.

I thought of it myself. I would have been devilish back home, so it made sense to use it here.

[At least to him anyway, plus it was a fun name that one could use in other ways. He had a few ideas when it came to advertising for it beyond what he was doing currently.]

I hope it does, but you never know. [Though he was admittedly a little surprised about someone who used to have a business before looking over to where it once was.]

What happened to it?

Of course, they do. They aren't like in stories and don't wear clothes.

[He figured he might as well play along at least.]

[Kaoru had been looking around while he was waiting, he had been here a couple times before but never enough to see everything that was on offer here. There was a decent choice he had to admit.

The clothing gift was within his arms as he heard the enthusiastic voice of the person he had asked to go sing karaoke with him, so it was within that moment that he turned around and put on a charming smile. He figured he might as well.]

A pleasure to see you again. I mentioned I had an outfit for you and here it is. I went with a 90's style which I think suits you. [It wasn't his favourite area to work with, but he had figured why not give it a shot anyway. Once he was sure she would take it, he was making sure to extend an arm for her to take. Might as well be a gentleman to some extent.]

Oh, I was sent home for six months, and the space I used for my business was given away. I signed a document to have them do that, so it's ultimately my fault.

[ She chuckles, it's good that the space she once used is being occupied though. Other people have businesses and dreams too. ]

I'm curious to see your work. Perhaps I will drop by sometime when I'm free.

[Kaoru had been currently trying to move on of the dummies but hadn't managed to move it that far before he heard the knock. Making sure it was standing up and not looking to topple over before actually heading toward the door and opening it.]

Hey, glad you could make it. Come in. You'll probably figure out what I need help with as soon as you step in.

Yes, but it means the style of clothing is individual rather than having like mass production clothing. So it's tailor to you because it's the only design for you. If that makes sense.

[He thought it made sense at the time.]

I'm sorry to hear that really. Never would have expected a business to close suddenly without warning.

[More like he was used to back home? He couldn't say that he knew what that was, but he was sure the other liked what he had been doing.]

I mean I don't have tailoring jobs at my business right now, but I have work that could turn into it if you ever want to try again.

So I assume since you came back you've been doing other things instead, huh?

[He figured to him that is what it might sound like.]

I hope you do, though I am sure I won't be as good as what you did.

Well, what would they design for me? [She looks down at herself.] Ah... but I haven't any money to pay for it, I only just arrived.

[ She laughs shyly at his complimenting words. She tucks some hair behind her ear and nods ]

Yes, I'm a Deputy Guardian now. For Nova City.

[ She says casually, but her eyes show a hint of pride in representing Nova City ]

But I have thoughts of returning to the business world now that I've managed my time better, it just wouldn't be a fashion related pursuit.

Designing clothes and wearing clothes are very different things.

[It's good to know Devils do wear clothes though. Anything without fur really should, unless they enjoy looking silly.]

Is this a Halloween store?

Where is it? I need to address this quickly, I have an interview to attend to and I have come under scrutiny for the clothes I've brought with me.

[With that he turns on his heels and heads off. it's not that far before he opens the door to the building.]

Oh... That is certainly a change of work.

[He admittedly was a little curious as to what the business would be, sp he figured he should at least ask first.]

What would the pursuit be then?

Yes, but you still need to know measurements for both. Otherwise, they6y'll be too big or too small.

[He shook his head slightly.]

No, but oh... I kind of want to go to one of those stores.
