[ Ayame appears to be in a quiet place in Fayren, with stone steps leading to a Japanese-styled walled gate. Much like an entrance to a Shinto shrine. She turns around with a smile at the camera that's being held telekinetically ]

Good morning. With the recent events in Everglade and among others, I figured many of you could use a break to rest and recover. My name is Ayame, and this week I have returned into business and decided to pick up where the Amagi Inn had left off, and create my own safe haven. Welcome to Amatsu!

[ She presents the gate with a dramatic gesture of her arm, causing the rolled textile pillars to light up, showing a fountain by the entrance. ]

It's a traditional Japanese-styled inn with the aim to help you relax and feel rejuvenated, should you feel the need to get away from stressful city life. We are here in the middle of Fayren's woods-

[ She didn't even pause as she creates a portal off-handedly. Which she goes through along with the camera. The wind blows in her hair as soon as she crosses that cleft in space, and the camera angle adjusts to show that she's actually flying without any means of propulsion. Over her left is the inn itself in all it's wonder, built on the slope of a hill with three floors. There's a great river flowing out to the ocean where there's a beach near the inn's grounds ]

-far from any noise and troubles. We have plenty of hot-spring baths, spa treatments, dining options, and suites to offer. There are even natural wonders to explore. And we are currently hiring! So please-

[ She creates another portal, heading to the outside of the main entrance where there's a peaceful garden and koi pond, silent with only the sound of chirping birds and gently rustling autumn leaves ]

-if you are interested, we would love you being a part of our team, or to even at least give us a visit. There's a carriage service that takes you from Fayren to the inn. We promise you will enjoy your stay.

[ She gives a bow before the video ends, but not before giving directions to said carriage service ]

[ The week she spent in making the inn was actually spent more in practicing that speech. She swears that's something she'll never get used to. She can be found being a good innkeeper at the entrance of Amatsu, welcoming and guiding her guests towards the inn itself. Whenever she sees someone arrive, she puts on a smile and gives them a small bow in greeting ]

Welcome to Amatsu! Are you here to inquire for a job or to simply visit?

[ Either way, they get a brochure of what amenities and activities the inn has to offer ]

Your room:

[ Did you pay extra to be on top of the hill or by the river to book a suite at Cloudveil or Seaglass respectively? Or were you more interested in the quietness of the woods and gardens that you picked the Ravenswood rooms? Either way, Ayame is here to guide you to your temporary home for as long as you're staying. ]

The Hot-Springs:

[ Whether it's an outdoor hotspring or the indoor and private ones, there is still chances to run into her. Being the owner and doing most of the work due to her lack of staff, Ayame can be found refreshing the supplies of the hot-spring baths, putting in new towels and soaps in the locker rooms and showers. Baths for men and women are separated, naturally. But that won't stop Ayame from going to the men's section. ]

Dining:

[ Whether you chose room service or to dine outside, Ayame could be there to serve you your food and teach you how to properly dine the Japanese way. Or if you just want to have dinner with the host, that's perfectly fine too. There's multiple options of outdoor dining, from atop a bamboo platform over a quiet stream, on a shallow river down a waterfall, a quiet pond-side balcony, or in a cave next to the ocean! ]

Shrine:

[ There's a shrine in the gardens of Ravenswood that one could visit! ]

Spa and Gardens:

[ Where most of the relaxation happens. The gardens are a lovely place to have tea or coffee, and converse with other guests. Whereas the spa is a place to melt those stresses away with the massages on offer. Due to being short staffed, Ayame herself could give the massage. ]

[The second Tomoe saw Ayame's post about the inn over the network she dropped what she was doing and headed straight there. While she had found shelter and employment it was less than desirable, at least for someone as reserved as herself. While she had worked as waitstaff at the Kohagiya there was a significant difference between the atmosphere there and at the Drunken Monkey. Of course she should have known as much just based off the name in and of itself, but the technology levels were on par with what she could handle, and at this point she simply hadn't found anything she was willing to try, or rather, anyone willing enough to teach her.]

[Of course, she didn't have the same sort of charm that others exuded either...]

[Her eyes warmed just a bit as she approached the gate and saw Ayame there.]

Hello again, Ayame-san. [She offered a polite bow.] I am glad to see this place reopened...

( He'd seen her message on the network, and although he could have given her a heads-up before arriving, Kiritsugu... simply thought he could make a better impression applying in person.

He accepts the offered brochure, though does not make to peruse it just yet. )

For a job inquiry. What positions are you offering?

[He hopes it's all right to send a video message to ask about employment. If he walked there he'd be too afraid of tracking in mud on something, even the sidewalk. He'll just be extra polite to make up for the less formal method of introduction and bow straight out the gate.]

Good morning, Miss Ayame. My name is Izuku Midoriya. I was calling to ask about any part-time job openings you had available for students. Is it okay for 16-year-olds to apply?

[ Ayame is multi-tasking at the lobby when she got Izuku's video response. She doesn't seem to mind that he's asking by video, and just gives him a motherly smile in greeting ]

Hello Midoriya-kun. 16 is a fine age to apply, especially for part-time work. I could use some extra hands at the moment, so a member of the waitstaff is my primary recommendation for you.

[ Ayame doesn't seem to mind either way. She nods at his question, retaining her soft expression as he accepts the brochure from her hand. Her first impression of him quickly reminded Ayame of someone she knew ]

I see. Currently, I could use some helping hands in maintaining the inn and serving guests.

[ But with that straight-to-the-point attitude and dour expression, she doesn't think that's the job for him]

But I could also use someone to provide security for the perimeter. We are in the forests of Fayren after all. Magical creatures can appear from nowhere.

Well, more like opened. Amatsu and Amagi are different inns, but I figured I could pick up where the latter left off and offer slightly more amenities. But I can understand the confusion due to their similar names.

[ She gives a light-hearted chuckle. She loves the Amagi Inn and has fond memories of it, but if she's gonna replace it, she might as well one-up it ]

It's good to see you again, Tomoe. Would you like to come in?

[ Ayame gestures toward the gate, close to the fountain with the glowing pillars seen in the video earlier. It's a quiet place that's perfect for a soothing retreat, so the sound of running water could be heard along with the leaves ]

Yes, please. [She looks ahead, her breath catching just slightly at the scene.] It's beautiful.

[It isn't something he pictured himself doing, but it's better than janitorial work. They don't tip where he's from, though, and he's guessing the same holds true for Ayame if her name is as Japanese as it sounds.]

[Besides, is there anyone in this world better than Midoriya at writing down tons and tons of notes?]

That sounds like something I can handle. I'll fill out an application and bring it in tomorrow. Thank you for your consideration.

[Anything that is anywhere in Fayren forest is eventually going to attract the attention of a dragon. One who takes on the appearance of a small human girl with large yellow wings visible, but a dragon none-the-less.

Myrrh has been making progress in getting closer to the inn without being seen initially, but eventually comes out of hiding to visit this human establishment and approach Ayame timidly.
However, once she was given one, she has no idea what to do with this brochure, but she held onto it like a treasured memento.]

[ Konoka practically stumbled at the front door. Getting out of that doll mess had been a disaster. She never wanted to look at mermaid bridal dresses ever again. ]

Thank goodness, I could use a brief vacation! So you decided to start up a new business after all, huh? It looks really nice!

[Takeru was having a time of not being sure where he wanted to be in life work wise. Sure, he was now working full time at Moonbucks, but he was reaching a point where he wanted to try something different or at least something new after having worked there for nearly a year.

So he figured he might as well ask more than anything.]

What kind of work would you suggest for a fifteen nearly sixteen year old?

A member of the waitstaff would be the most ideal for someone your age.

[ Ayame was quick to respond, since another teen had already asked about jobs. She doubts someone so young would be a licensed massage therapist, so she's still on the look-out for that. ]

[ Ayame was expecting people to comment on her display of powers, but from the amount of job inquiries she's getting without any mention of her portals, she almost stopped anticipating this sort of response. So Hela got a little smile in response. ]

And it has been a long time since I've been called either. Sorcerer more so.

[ Because people have a tendency to call powerful women as witches ]

[ Deku seems like a nice boy, so Ayame kind of likes him already. She nods in acknowledgement before responding ]

Very well, I look forward to meeting you in person, Midoriya-kun.

[ Deku's formality and immediate interest in becoming her employee, Ayame opts to call him with an honorific. Even for someone who is from Japan, she's not very used to calling people with them ]

Do let me know before you arrive, so I can meet with you myself. I spend enough time in Nova City for my other occupation, so I wouldn't always be present.

[ Maybe a tour-guide would work for him too, now that she thinks about it. Being a part-timer, he's only going to get one-star out of being a waitstaff member anyway. ]

On second thought... How are you with the outdoors?

[ Seeing Konoka arrive put a wider and brighter grin on Ayame's features, feeling her shoulders ease at the sight of a familiar person ]

Konoka! It's lovely to see you.

[ She gives Konoka a warm welcome and a brochure, with her hands gently gripping Konoka's arms in greeting, letting go after a soft reassuring squeeze. She chuckles at Konoka's comment, inviting her friend and guest through the gate ]

Yes. Quite frankly, I missed having a lot of money. But this is also my contribution to all of you who work tirelessly everyday.

Of course. Please, come in.

[ She smiles reassuringly, welcoming Myrrh with a gesture of her arm towards the gate. Ayame's so used to every quirk this world and others has to offer that even the sight of dragon wings didn't get a reaction out of her, though Myrrh's childlike appearance and demeanor did trigger her more sisterly instincts to surface ]

I hope you find everything to be satisfactory. Even those who don't wish to stay can still enjoy most of our amenities. From luxurious massages, hot-spring baths, and to our fine dining experiences.

[ She lets Myrrh take the first steps through the gate and she follows immediately, walking beside the dragon girl. They'll pass through the fountains with the same glowing pillars, a koi pond, and a zen garden underneath tall trees with autumn leaves before they make it indoors to the main entryway. Ayame takes the lead here, taking her shoes off and instructing Myrrh to do the same ]

We take off our footwear here before stepping into the inn itself.

I'm glad you approve. I made most of it myself.

[ She smiles, walking Tomoe down the stone walkway where the sight of a zen garden to their right, and a koi pond to their left just adds more Japanese flavor to the eyes. Taking her shoes off, she welcomes Tomoe to the expansive lobby of the inn with high ceilings and large glass windows that show a view of the adjacent hills the inn was built on. ]

It's not entirely archaic in it's design. I thought to add some subtle modern touches for convenience and ease for employee and guest alike.

Thank goodness. And I'm willing to spend! It's been a long while since I could stay at an inn close to home!

[ It's almost nostalgic to her. Her first big field trip involved a place like this. True, it led to a whole lot of trouble, but it had great memories as well. ]

I just got here, so what's the first thing I should dive into?

[Tomoe did a slight double take at that.]

Made it? [Did she mean design it? She followed suit, removing her shoes to continue following.]

I see that... but it retains enough tradition for someone like to to feel comfort. I can say, I have had enough time to familiarize myself with some things since our first meeting.

[Myrrh peered around with curious eyes as she followed the path on Ayame's instruction. Everything is so...unique. Architectural designs unlike anything she's seen. Not in Grado, Caer Pelyn, or even Fayren.

Her attention fell on the hostess as she came ahead and took her shoes off. It was confusing at first, but Myrrh is respectful. She carefully undoes the straps on her Greco-Roman style sandals and slipping out of them. She has her questions, and at long last, she softly speaks up.]

Is this how people rest? The ponds, gardens, massages and hot-springs, I mean.

[ Yessss give her all that moneyyyy ]

We have three different floors, each offering something unique.

[ The first page of the brochure speaks about the three different floors: the hilltop Cloudveil, garden covered Ravenswood that they're in now, and the waterside Seaglass. Dining options range from near a quiet pond, over a stream, one the base of a waterfall, or in a cave next to the ocean itself. It's got spa treatments like two-hour full body massages and relaxation therapies. Of course, the onsen. Each floor offers them! ]

It certainly is one way. Should the usual sleep and hobbies fail to meet their relaxation needs, these are an alternative that would help.

[ Ayame takes the first steps onto the raised wooden floor. Ravenswood's halls with beams and banisters made of dark wood contrasts the natural light coming from the large windows ]

The softness of water can gives one's mind a feeling of peace and calm. From how it sounds, and how it feels on the skin. It's long been seen as a cleansing force in my culture. Physically, emotionally, and spiritually. Here, we aim to help wash away one's stress. It's one of the many reasons I chose this place to build the inn due to it's proximity to water.

That's good news. Perhaps some of the technology I brought over from Genessia wouldn't be intimidating. Like the microwave oven and coffee makers.

[ She says it so casually even if Tomoe would not know what those are. ]

But yes. I literally made and designed most of it. Put every beam and banister myself, although I had help from the local construction experts on certain things. You'll find that we have modern plumbing in here, which would be of great benefit to both employee and guest alike.

[ Because that's pretty much the best modern invention ever. Clean water and no worrying about waste disposal the old fashioned way ]
